Abstract

This study aimed to determine student learning outcomes using the Synectic learning model and learning outcomes using conventional learning models at YAPIM Taruna Dolok Masihul Private High School. The population was all students of class XII SMA which consisted of 2 classes. Samples were taken randomly from 2 classes consisting of the experimental class and the control class. The data observed were chemistry students' learning outcomes, which were collected through a multiple choice test of 20 questions consisting of 5 answer options, which had been tested for validity, reliability, difficulty level and test differentiation. The data obtained were analyzed using the T test, which previously tested the normality and homogeneity of the data. The learning outcomes of the experimental class mean pre-test (27.81 ± 7.21) and post-test mean (76.88 ± 5.70) with an increase in learning outcomes Gain by 68%, while the learning outcomes of the control class average pre-test (22.03 ± 6.70) and the average post-test (70.47 ± 6.00) with an increase in learning outcomes gain by 62%. Hypothesis testing is carried out at the significance level α = 0.05 using one-sided t-test, namely the right side where tcount> ttable (3.05> 1.667139), which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. By looking at the results of these studies it can be concluded that the chemistry learning outcomes of students who were treated through the application of the Synectic learning model are higher than using conventional teaching.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa. Tujuan dan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kualuh Hulu dengan penerapan model pembelajaran ARIAS (Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, and Satisfaction). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Tes yang digunakan adalah pilihan berganda diberikan secara individual yang dilaksanakan di setiap akhir siklus. Hasil belajar pada sikius I diperoleh persentase ketuntasan secara klasikal adalah 55%. Pada siklus II persentase ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 85% menunjukan terjadi peningkatan ketuntasan secara kiasikal sebesar 30%. Hasil ratarata aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebanyak 4 orang (10%) siswa untuk kurang aktif, 22 orang (55%) siswa cukup aktif, 6 orang (15%) siswa aktif, 8 orang (20) siswa sangat aktif. Sedangkan Sildus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 2 orang (5%) siswa cukup aktif, 23 orang ( 57,5%) siswa aktif, 15 siswa (37,5%) siswa sangat aktif, menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan aktivitas hasil belajar 60%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus II telah diperoleh ketuntasan aktivitas dan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan uraian diatas disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran ARIAS dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar ekonomi siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Kualuh Hulu Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012.

Abstract

ABSTRAK       Pendidikan merupakan suatu proses yang membantu manusia dalam mengembangkan dirinya sehingga mampu menghadapi segala perubahan dan permasalahan yang ada. Hal ini senada dengan fungsi pendidikan nasional yang tertuang dalam Undang-undang Dasar Sistem Pendidikan Nasional Bab II pasal 3 yang mengatakan bahwa pendidikan nasional berfungsi mengembangkan kemampuan dan membentuk watak serta peradaban bangsa yang bermartabat dalam rangka mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa, bertujuan untuk berkembangnya potensi peserta didik agar menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berakhlak manusia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri dan menjadi warga Negara yang demokratis dan bertanggung jawab. Pembelajaran Matematika di sekolah membutuhkan penggunaan model oleh guru Matematika di Sekolah Dasar. Guru matematika harus terlebih dahulu mengetahui model pembelajaran yang tepat di sekolah dalam proses belajar mengajar. Adanya penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing. Guru memegang andil penting supaya proses belajar mengajar menyenangkan, mampu menarik siswa dan aktif sehingga tujuan pembelajaran tercapai. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Peserta didik, Guru

Abstract

The aims of this study are: (1) To find out the online learning used by English teachers in the classroom; (2) to find out whether the online learning used by the teacher is effective in learning English in elementary schools. This research is a classroom action research, which is usually abbreviated as CAR. The research was carried out in the fourth grader of SD Negeri 016528 Pasir Mandoge. The samples taken are the fourth grader of  SD Negeri  016528 with a total of 26 students. The technique used in data collection is using a questionnaire. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire containing the types of closed, semi-closed, and open questions distributed using a google form. The results of the study can be concluded that the implementation of online learning that is carried out optimally can increase student activity and learning outcomes in English subjects in the fourth grade in elementary school. This can be seen from the number of students who are in the active category as much as 50% and the very active 7.692%, so the number of student activities is 57.692%. In the second cycle, there was an increase in students who were in the active category as much as 45.154% and those who were very active experienced an increase to 38.463%.d important findings.
