Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1. To determine the influence of leadership on work discipline on Islamic institutions Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang; 2. To find out the influence of Work Discipline Motivation on Islamic Religious Institutions Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang; 3. To determine the effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute; 4. To determine the influence of leadership on employee performance at Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute; 5. To find out the effect of the Work Discipline Motivation on Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute. In this study, the authors used quantitative research. The population in this study by census technique is to take all employees at the Syarifuddin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute, totaling 50 (fifty) employees. By using Structural Equation Modeling Analysis (SEM), the results show that there is a significant influence between Leadership on Work Discipline, There is no significant influence between Motivation on Work Discipline, There is a significant influence between work discipline on employee performance, there is a significant influence between leadership on Employee Performance, there was no significant influence between work motivation and employee performance at the Syarifudin Wonorejo Lumajang Islamic Institute. Abstract

The low quality of our human resources reflects the low quality of our education system that produces the human resources. We have to reconstruct our educational system. Our educational system we will construct, must be able to build human resources comprehensively, in which the society goes to the learning society and the environment where the society does their activities goes to learning environment. It will be realized by developing Learning Organization. In Learning Organization, the organization supports individuals to keep on learning and enrich their capability as learning society. The actualization of Learning Organization in the learning environment, where all school components interact each other integratedly and each school component functions optimally, so they impulse effectively to the realization of effective school.

Abstract

Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan tradisional Islam di Indonesia telah memainkan peran penting dalam menyebarkan dan mempertahankan nilai-nilai agama dan budaya sepanjang sejarahnya. Artikel ini menyajikan sebuah tinjauan tentang sejarah sosial pesantren dan nilai-nilai edukatif yang terkandung di dalamnya dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengungkapkan peran pesantren dalam membentuk masyarakat Muslim yang berbudaya dan berakhlak mulia serta memahami peran pentingnya dalam menyediakan pendidikan Islam yang holistik bagi generasi masa depan dengan mengedepankan pendidikan agama yang mendalam, pengembangan akhlak yang baik, dan pembinaan kemandirian. Peran pesantren dalam mempertahankan keberlanjutan Islam dan menyediakan pusat pembelajaran keislaman menegaskan pentingnya lembaga ini dalam konteks pendidikan Islam di Indonesia.
