Abstract

The practice of breastfeeding is one way to optimize the health and development of children. Exclusive breastfeeding for infants 0-6 months without providing complementary foods/substitutes for breast milk. Exclusive breastfeeding problems can be caused by breast milk that does not come out after childbirth, lack of milk production, the inability of the baby to suck, abnormal conditions of the mother's nipples, working mothers, and lack of health information. Health problems that often occur in breastfeeding mothers are reduced milk production, which will later affect breastfeeding status so that it can be a risk factor for stunting. One way to increase the volume of breast milk is to provide Moringa leaf extract as an ingredient to be processed into alternative food products, namely "Coding Danker". This community service activity was carried out three times, namely exclusive breastfeeding and stunting counseling, processing alternative food products from Moringa leaves, providing food products to the community, breastfeeding mothers and monitoring evaluations and interventions from providing Coding Danker to breastfeeding mothers. This activity is aimed at increasing the knowledge and skills of PKK mothers in RW 7 Sialang Munggu Village in making pastries based on local wisdom, namely cookies with Moringa leaf extract. Community service participants were given material by showing videos on how to make these products. The outputs of this community service are one scientific article, one article in print/electronic mass media, activity videos and community service reports.

Abstract

Pregnancy is a physiological condition that can be followed by a pathological process that threatens the condition of the mother and fetus. One of the problems that can occur during pregnancy TM 1 and 2 is nausea and vomiting. Nausea is an unpleasant feeling related to feeling sick or urges to vomit, while vomiting is the expulsion of stomach contents through the mouth due to involuntary muscle spasms. Nausea and vomiting occur in 60-80% of first pregnant women (primigravidas) and 40-60% in multigravida mothers. Constant nausea and vomiting will cause complications for the mother and the fetus. The aim of this study was to see the effect of peppermint aromatherapy on nausea and vomiting in pregnant women. This type of research is a quantitative study using a quacy experimental research design using two group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were pregnant women with TM 1 and 2, using a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 30 people. Data processing used univariate and bivariate analysis. Bivariate analysis used the T test. The results showed that peppermint aromatherapy affected the reduction of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women with TM 1 and 2 with a value of ρ: 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

Proses kehamilan menyebabkan perubahan fisik dan mental, dan kehamilan biasanya disertai dengan rasa ketidaknyamanan, dimana salah satu ketidaknyamanan yang sering dialami ibu hamil terutama pada trimester pertama kehamilan adalah mual dan muntah (Emesis gravidarium). Mual muntah pada kehamilan dialami oleh sekitar 70-80% ibu hamil. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah melihat pengaruh aromaterapi lemon terhadap mual muntah pada ibu hamil. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian quacy eksperiment menggunakan rancangan two group. Populasi penelitian ini adalah ibu hamil TM 1 dan 2, teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang. Pengolahan data menggunakan analisa univariat dan analisa bivariat, analisa bivariat menggunakan uji T. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa aroma terapi lemon mempengaruhi pengurangan mual muntah pada ibu hamil dengan nilai p value = 0,000 atau < 0,05. Untuk penanganan awal mual muntah pada ibu hamil dapat menggunakan terapi non farmako dengan menggunakan aroma terapi yang dapat memberikan efek tenang pada ibu hamil.
