Abstract

Keywords : komposisi botani, kalakai, purun tikus, swamp forage

Abstract

The study aimed to analyze the type of swamp forage and its combination in granule complete feed products for their nutrient content and digestibility. This study have been done on Juli until September, 2018 in Field Laboratory at Bentok Kampung-Tanah Laut District. Randomized Block Design was used in this research with 3 treatments and 4 replications.  Twenty goats aged 1.5-2 years with a weight ranging from 15-19 kg were used in this study. Data were analyzed by Analysis of varian and if there is significant difference then the Duncan Multi Range Test (DMRT)  is continued. The results of the study show that  swamp forage kalakai (Stenochlaena palustris), and purun tikus (Heleocharis dulcis Burm) significantly different to the crude protein content, crude fiber, crude fat, ADF and NDF fiber fraction. The complete granule feed on the basis of a combination of forage swamps and legumes affects the digestibility of organic matter and crude protein. The low content of tannin in swamp forages has not been able to optimally protect crude protein in complete granule feed.

Abstract

Super native chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus), and paddy snail as a mixture of rations, Super native chicken is a cross between native chicken and red laying hen, which is given the ration contains paddy snail flour. And the parameters of research against appearance consisting of ration consumption, final body weight and ration conversion. Design used Complete Random Design (RAL) with five treatments and four replications, such treatment is ; TK0 (0% paddy snail flour),  TK5 (5% paddy snail flour),  TK10 (10% paddy snail flour),  TK15 (15% paddy snail flour),  TK20 (20% paddy snail flour),  From the results of the research can be stated that all parameters (ration consumption, final body weight and ration conversion shows real influence, It is recommended to use up to 15% paddy snail flour in the ration of super nitive chicken.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the content of neutral detergent fibre (NDF) and acid detergent fibre (ADF) of Brachiaria humidicola grass at different depoliation ages. This research is a pure experiment using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with three treatments (40 days, 50 days and 60 days) and three replications. The results showed that depoliation age had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the NDF and ADF content of Brachiaria humidicola grass with NDF values ranging from 64.20% to 65.49%, while ADF values ranged from 36.75% to 43.99%.
