Abstract

Cantikgrouper is the hybridization results grouper or cross-breeding between Epinephelus fuscoguttatus as a female and Epinephelus microdon as a male. The main barriers faced in the development of this commodity is still low levels of spawning up to seeding grouper. Based on the background, this study aimed to investigate optimum temperature observations against the rate of embryonic development Epinephelus sp.larvae. This study used the results of artificial spawning eggs. The fertilized eggs were incubated on six pieces of the container temperature treatment;each treatment there was repeated three times. The incubation temperature was kept on (A) 21-22°C; (B) 23-24°C; (C) 25-26°C; (D) 27-28°C; (E) 29-30°C; (F) 31-32°C. Results showed that eggswere incubated at a temperature of 21-22 ℃ embryonic development to a halt in the blastula, and temperature 23-24°C stalled on phasemyomere embryos. The low-temperature incubation period lasts a long time. Temperature 25-26°C needed 18 hours 6 minutes by 8.33% abnormality rate. Temperature 27-28°C needed 16 hours to hatch witha degree of abnormality of 7.6%. Temperature 29-30°C needed 15 hours 1 minute for the hatch tothe degree of abnormality of 5.33%. The 31-32°C temperature needed 14 hours 6 minutes to hatch witha degree of abnormality of 17.3%. The limits of tolerance for the incubation of the eggs ofcantik grouper (Epinephelusspp.) were 26-32°C.The best temperature of each treatment were obtained at a temperature of 29-30°C. Based on our results, it concluded that the changing temperature affected how long eggs could hatch.

Abstract

Fish rainbow boesemani ( melanotaenia boesmani ) is ornamental fish freshwater economically valuable important that is fish endemic of the papua island . Fish rainbow is one of the preferred by people, because it has morphology the body and pattern of coloration that is distinctive and unique having an elongated flattened body and color in body parts toward the head blue bright and toward the tail bright orange. Fish rainbow boesmani male more interested in people, because it has a variation of color interesting. Maskulinisasi is one of the methods by to produce the production of a male fish . One of natural materials that can be used in the methods of maskulinisasi for producing a male fish that is using propolis honeybees This research was conducted in Laboratory of Reproduction division of reproduction fish , the faculty of fisheries and of marine science, Brawijaya University Malang on december 2017 till January on a deal valid 2018 .The methodology that was used the experimental methods are using ral with 4 treatment ( 10jam , 12jam , 14jam , 16jam with a dose 1ppm ) and control. Data obtained the fire victims with anova were analysed and in the long term undergone a BNT. Paramater the main upon the of this study is the percentage of the male organs and the survival rate at the current level, from the supporting parameter growth rate at the current level and water quality. This research outcomes for fear of a massive the percentage of male rainbow boesemani on larvae of fish .The percentage of male on a 45,45 % treatment , b 62,35 % , c 47,78 % , d 39,49 % , and in control 11.82 % treatment .The percentage on the highest male treatment b 62,35 %. Survival treatment a 71,11 % kept its key rate at , b 58,89 % , c 48,89 % , d 42,22 % and control 90 %. As to economic growth rate a 0,0211g treatment , b 0,0209g , c 0,0210g , d 0,0210g , and control 0,0198g .The quality of water covering of temperature on the morning ranged from 22,6 to make during the day ranged from 24,1-27.7 .While the value of do to the morning ranged from 5,38 - 8,43 ppm and which excludes swings in administered during the day ranged from 5,12-7,67 ppm, pH in the morning ranges 6.5-7.8 and during the day ranged from 6.1 virtually vanished 7.3. Conclusion to research maskulinisasi fish rainbow boesemani use extract propolis honeybees to the time soaking distinct larval produce influence very real to the productions a male fish when do soaking optimally .

Abstract

Indonesia ranks 2 countries with a high level of plastic pollution. Plastic waste entering the Indonesian sea is estimated to reach 0.48-1.29 million metric tons/year. This microplastic is the result of the degradation of plastic waste and textile waste that decomposes to small size in a very long time . The river is the headwaters of various rivers and streams which have the potential to carry plastic particles . This makes it likely that the waters of the north sea are also polluted by microplastics, one of which is sourced from rivers . This research was conducted to find out how contaminated the northern sea waters by microplastics, especially estuary areas. The area sampled to be studied is one of the river estuaries in Pasuruan, at the Pasuruan river estuary which is then analyzed at the Laboratory of Fisheries, University of Muhammadiyah Malang . The results of the analysis found three types of microplastics, fiber, film, and fragments. Station 2 is the sampling area of the middle estuary area which results in the most abundance of microplastic abundance of 611111.1 particles/m3 . Microplastic types found were dominated by fiber types up to 55%. The most common microplastics found in the estuary waters of the Pateguran river are microplastics with sizes ranging from 1-333.3 µm . Based on FTIR results, it is suspected that there are microplastics derived from nylon or polyamide (PA) and polypropylene (PP) types.

Abstract

Vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) culture frequently faces serious disease outbreaks caused by White Spot Syndrome Virus (WSSV) and Infectious Myonecrosis Virus (IMNV), resulting in significant economic losses in shrimp farming. Environmental conditions, particularly water quality, are considered important factors influencing the emergence and spread of viral diseases in aquaculture systems. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the water quality factors associated with the occurrence of WSSV and IMNV in vannamei shrimp ponds located within the same farming environment. This research was conducted at two different vannamei shrimp farming companies located in North Lombok Regency. The study used a survey method through interviews with farm managers and analysis of secondary water quality data. The observed water quality parameters included salinity, nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia levels. Data analysis was performed using an independent sample t-test to evaluate differences in IMNV occurrence between the two companies based on water quality conditions. The results showed that four pond units were indicated to be affected by IMNV, namely pond 2 in Company A and ponds 1, 2, and 3 in Company B. Several water quality parameters in Company B during December 2019, including salinity, nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia, exceeded the standards established in SNI 01-8037-2014 and were suspected to contribute to the initial emergence of IMNV. Statistical analysis using the independent sample t-test showed no significant difference between Companies A and B regarding IMNV occurrence based on water quality parameters (p = 0.898 > 0.05). In conclusion, water conditions and water quality play a crucial role in maintaining shrimp health and may directly or indirectly influence the occurrence of viral diseases in vannamei shrimp culture systems.
