Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the understanding of Christology and the need for apologetics among church leaders, specifically within GBI ROCK Jabodetabek Serang. Given the challenges the church faces today, such as attacks from Gnosticism, Docetism, and Arianism, a correct understanding of Christology and apologetic skills are crucial. Data was analyzed using data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The findings indicate: (1) All pastors at GBI ROCK Jabodetabek have a good understanding of Christology except for the concepts of the Trinity and the dual nature of Jesus; (2) They possess an understanding of the qualifications of an apologist, though not fully comprehensive; (3) Most pastors understand the process of implementing apologetics and its application in ministry, but lack a full grasp of concepts, methods, and relevant reference sources. This study highlights the need for enhanced understanding and application of apologetics to address challenges from heretical teachings within the church context

Abstract

This research examines the role of three schools of educational philosophy-Progressivism, Existentialism and Postmodernism in the development of adaptive and competitive Indonesian human resources. Progressivism emphasises experiential learning, preparing students with critical thinking and problem-solving skills relevant to real life. Existentialism, on the other hand, emphasises individual freedom and the search for meaning, supporting education as a means for self-discovery and social responsibility. Postmodernism, meanwhile, emphasises a plurality of perspectives and rejects single truths, teaching students to think critically and appreciate diversity. This research uses a literature study approach to synthesise various findings that support the important contributions of these three schools of philosophy in shaping an educational curriculum that is responsive to social change and global needs. The results show that the integration of these philosophical values in education can produce human resources which are not only technically intelligent but also have reflective, adaptive characters and are able to collaborate in a complex environment.

Abstract

The transformation of education in the 21st century requires a curriculum that moves beyond content delivery and focuses on developing core competencies such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication (4C). This study investigates strategies for integrating 4C skills into curriculum development using a library research approach. The data were obtained from peer-reviewed scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025 and analyzed thematically. The results show that critical thinking can be fostered through blended learning, inquiry-based learning, critical reflection, academic debate, and clinical simulation. Collaboration develops through interprofessional education, interdisciplinary projects, community partnerships, and the use of digital technology. Creativity is supported by STEAM approaches, project-based learning, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and maker education. Communication is enhanced through simulation training, narrative-based learning, mentoring, and digital media. These findings emphasize the need for systemic and flexible curriculum reform, supported by educator training and technological integration. A future-ready curriculum must act as a transformative space that prepares learners to think critically, act creatively, collaborate effectively, and communicate meaningfully in a complex and interconnected global environment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the perception of teachers in MIN and MTs throughout Jembarana Regency related to digital transformation and inequality in access to education in Jembrana Regency. The selection of informant was carried out using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of having taught for at least two years and being involved in the use of digital technology. Data were collected using semi-structured interview techniques, analysed and presented in a descriptive manner. The results of the study show that teachers see digital transformation as an important step in increasing learning relevance, flexibility, and interactivity. Technology is considered to enrich teaching methods and provide opportunities for students to learn independently through more varied digital media. However, inequality in access to technology, especially in terms of devices and internet connections, is a significant obstacle that hinders the involvement and learning outcomes of students who lack access. Teachers identified the need for policies and infrastructure development that support equal access to digital education as well as sustainable digital literacy training for teachers and students. This finding is expected to be used as a foundation for more responsive and inclusive policy-making to realize equitable digital education.

Abstract

Balak saw Balaam as a prophet with extraordinary abilities, whose words were always on target and had great power. It is very important for a prophet of God to maintain consistent integrity and keep his heart pure from temptation. Balak has an accommodating nature, tends to exaggerate, and is diligent, but unfortunately he uses his strengths for the wrong purposes. Balak did not realize that in God's plan, Israel had been forbidden from attacking or harming the Moabites. The research method used to find answers to the research objectives is descriptive qualitative where the analysis process emphasizes the process of meaning. The results of the study concluded that God gave Balaam permission to follow his messenger Balak, this shows that even though Balaam left, his actions were still under God's control and permission. Balak planned evil against Israel by exploiting Balaam's strengths and weaknesses, God was able to use this to fulfill His plans.
