Abstract

This research aims to know the differences of interest in learning through the application of media animation and conventional learning in IPA learning. Sample of this research is determined by quasi experimental design and take two classes samples, namely experiment class use media animation and control class use the conventional learning models. The research instrument is used: 1) the learning design by using the media animation and conventional learning design, 2) learning readiness questionnaire, 3) evaluation in the form interest questionnaire. Analysis of the data used is analysis of covariant (ANCOVA). The result of this research showed that: 1) interests in learning IPA, the student who have a high readiness, higher when compared with the interest in learning IPA that student have a low readiness. 2) Interest in learning IPA students are taught by media animation is no different with interest in learning IPA that student is taught by conventional. The result of this research when analyzed by ANCOVA can be concluded that: 1) there is a linear relationship between learning readiness and interest in learning IPA, 2) there is no difference between interest in learning IPA in experiment class with in learning IPA in control class. Abstract

Nowadays, same elemtary school/SD which are located in Jambi City have already started getting the dental nurse graduates; to help schools on the Endeavor Program of School Dental Health (UKGS) Program for promotion, preventive and curative matters. This research is conducted to evaluate on the UKGS program in the implementation of promotation, preventive and curative actions. The types of the research used are qualitative methods and it is presented descriptively. The methods of collecting data are conducted by doing in-depth interviews to the personal-core informants and supported informants, non- participatory observation is conducted in the UKS room and the documentation study for the validity of the data is conducted by the triangulation methods and resources. The result showed that : (1) The promotion action was run well and it run according to the competences; (2) There are two competences of preventive core are not implemented for instance, the competence of how to rinse the mouth using fluorine substance and the other is the competence of doing the pit filling and fissure sealant. Meanwhile, the other two preventive competences have run well in accordance with its competence. They are the preventive competences have run well in accordance with its competence. They are the competences of theacing good teachnique in teeth brusing and claning/scraping the tartar; (3) The curative action was run in accordance with the competences, even though one of the competences could not be by the dental nurses. It is the competency of extracting single root permanent teeth, it was due to the lack of no license from the authority, the clinic or dentists. Abstract

The development based learning e-learning with Moodle application based on the theory constructivist materials analyzing business opportunities XI class SMK is motivated by the limitations of the use of ICT in the learning process and the need for entrepreneurial learning media attractive and easy to use which can improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to (1) Develop e-learning courses with Moodle applications to support learning, develop learning with vocational e-learning materials based on the constructivist theory to analyze business opportunities and (2) Produce a product that has the attractiveness and easy to use. This type of research is the Research and Development using the model of Lee and Owens (2004), through several stages, namely: (1) analysis, (2) design,(3) development, (4) implementation, (5) evaluation. From the results of the development are as follows. (1) the development of e-learning with Moodle application based on the constructivist theory of matter to analyze business opportunities and well worthy to be used in class XI SMK 1 Kuala Tungkal and (2) produce e-learning has the attractiveness, and ease to use in learning activities. Feasibility of the e-learning based on expert validation studies that assess the field of e-learning include both categories, media design expert validation categorized as good, expert validation of multimedia including both categories. And experiments performed on the users (students) includes a small group of test activities, to perform pretest and posttest for the 15 students of SMK 1 Kuala Tungkal class XI Multimedia B, the result is the average value of the pretest 56.67 and posttest generate average value average 91.00. These results indicate that the developed e-learning effectively to improve student learning outcomes. Entrepreneurship For teachers, e-learning can be used in the learning process, so that the learning process will be more interesting and varied. The utilization of e-learning for the student as one of the active and independent learning resources. To promote the development of e-learning more should be tested also in larger groups and learning materials on the other. Keyword: E-learning, Moodle, Konsruktivistik and Business Opportunities

Abstract

Fine art learnin.g in vocational high school (SMK) 2 Batanghari has some problems, such as 1) the lack of fine art teaching materials as source of school, 2) the teachers of fine art do not use media yet, like power point in conveying massage of learning process to students, 3) teaching materials are used in learning process is less attractive, 4) the culture Jambi areas not exist in previous teaching materials before. The research of fine art power point medias development adopted of design model instructional competence approach system (DSI-PK), which consists of 3 steps, namely; 1) needs analysis, 2) development, and 3) evaluation.The purpose of fine art development of power point media are: 1) producing, how to develop teaching materials of fine art power point media X class SMK, 2) develop teaching materials of fine art power point media in accordance with requirements of development, 3) producing of fine art teaching materials power point media engaging and effective for students of class X vocational learning, 4) producing how to use teaching materials of fine art power point media, 5) developing of fine art teaching materials power point media for teachers and class X SMK students. Teaching materials of fine art vocation some expert like material expert, media expert, design expert. The three member of them giving evaluation of teaching materials with good/interest/appropriate. Peers consist of teacher have education of fine art background give it excellent/very interesting/very suitable for teaching materials with percentage value of 81,77%. The interesting of teaching materials can be seen from response and feedback provided by teachers and students to the teaching materials. The anthusiasm of the students is very good for teaching materials provided during product trials. The responseof teachers to the teaching materials is very good, because teaching materials made with attractive colour, harmonious and letters of variation. The effectivness of teaching materials seen of improving student learning outcomes seen with minimal completeness criteria obtained through the result of free test and post test. It is recommended that teachers in delivering learing materials to the students using relevant learning resources for the next teaching learning developer, to develop teaching materials accordance with requirement of development research learning more wxciting by using media than just lecturing in delivering teaching materials to the student should be use the media in order learning activities are varied and not monotonous. Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials economic class XII semester I in high school. Content of teaching materials designed using Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan high school. With Instructional Materials efective and interested hoped can be need of Insructionasl Materials in SMAN I Sarolangun. The development model using Dick and Carey (1994) model. The development prosedure which is conducted follows Dick and Carey design, the prosedures are: (1) determining the instruction objectives, (2) conducting instruction analysis, (3) identificating the students’ prior knowledge and characteristics, (4) formulating spesific objectives, (5) developing criteria-determined assessment item, (6) developing the formatif evalvation, and (9) revising the instruction, (10) evaluation of summative. The result overall, showed the teaching material is catagorized “well”. According to the instructional design expect, this teaching material is “well / appropriate / interesting “, so it is appropriate to be used as the teaching aterial in high school. Meanwhile, the instructional content expert gave assessment “very well” for the development of the teaching material. The teaching material is developed by concerning the available prosedures and criterion. Teacher and students gave positif assessment to this development of teaching material on the field assessment. Generaly. Based on the analysis, both the expert validity and the field assessment showed, that the quality of the teaching material economic class XII semester 1 is “verywell”. So, it is suggested, that the product of this development can be used as the teaching material at educational unit of High School. Abstract

This research is motivated persistence of low learning outcomes accounting, lack of use of computer-based instructional media that support the activity and participation of students in the learning process accounting. One way to overcome this problem is to use MYOB software as a learning medium accounting to assist the teacher in the learning condition of innovative accounting. This study aims to determine the effect of using MYOB software media on learning outcomes accounting services company, and reveal the influence of student interest to the learning outcomes of accounting and how the interaction between media use MYOB, interest in learning and learning outcomes of accounting. The method used in this study is the experimental method, the study population was all students of class XI IPS SMAN 4 Jambi. Samples were taken by random sampling technique as many as 80 students. Data collection techniques for variable interest learns using questionnaires and to learn to use the test variable results. The validity of the test was tested with ITEMAN program and for data analysis using ANOVA technique 2 Land with prerequisite distribution normality test data using Lilliefors models, and test of homogeneity of variance using Bartlett's test, with a significance level of 5% research. Results calculated with SPSS 16, shows that the distribution of the data according to the normal curve, the sample is derived from a homogeneous population. Demonstrated that: (1) the results of the study group of students who were given learning with media MYOB higher compared with a group of students who were given learning with media LKS (Fhitung 1.362> 0.05); (2) Results of study accounting services firm group of students who have a high interest in learning, better when compared with the results of studying accounting services company in the group of students who have a low interest, both of which are taught using MYOB software media and the use of media LKS because of F 0.761> 0 , 05. (3) In the group of students who have a high interest in learning, learning outcomes accounting services firms students taught using MYOB software media is higher when compared with the results of studying accounting services firms students taught using media LKS (4) In the group of students who have interest in learning low, the result of learning accounting services firms students taught using MYOB software media is higher when compared with the results of studying accounting services firms students taught using LKS media. (5) There is an interaction between media software MYOB and interest in learning on learning outcomes Fhitung services firms accounting for 0.752, for p> 0.05. Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) Integrated Social Sciences learning planning; (2) implementation of integrated social studies learning; (3) barriers to integrated social studies learning; (4) assessment of integrated social studies learning at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The data collection methods are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model. Test data reliability through triangulation techniques. The research results are as follows: (1) Integrated social studies learning planning at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi using a learning model with a problem approach; (2) In general, the implementation of Integrated Social Sciences learning has been effective. The implementation of learning uses three stages, namely introduction, core activities, and closing; (3) Barriers/obstacles to implementing Integrated Social Sciences learning include: (a) social studies teacher educational background; (b) not all students are interested in social studies subjects; (c) limited learning media/facilities; (d) teaching materials that do not yet reflect integration between IPS branches; (4) Assessment of integrated social studies learning is carried out using test and non-test assessment instruments which are then reported to the students' parents. The study of the implementation of Integrated Social Sciences learning at SMP Negeri 7 Muaro Jambi opens a new window towards innovative approaches in social sciences-based education at the secondary level.
