Abstract

Caring behavior is the behavior that underlies the attitude, as well as the form of a nurse'sperformance in providing nursing services to her patients. Knowing th e description of the patient's perception of the caring behavior of nurses in the inpatient room. This study uses a simple quantitative descriptive design, with a total of 30 respondents using a total sampling technique. The instrument used in this study used a Caring Behavior Assessment (CBA) questionnaire that had been proposed from Yuliawati's research (2012) through validity and reliability tests. The analysis used is univariate analysis. This study explains the caring behavior of nurses in general get results as many as 21 patients (70%) in the medium category. Caring behavior was divided into 2 subvariables consisting of affective behavior and instrumental behavior, affective behavior got results as many as 25 patients (83,3%) in the medium category and instrumental behavior as many as 19 patients (63,3%) in the medium category. This study shows that the results of respondents in assessing the service of nurses are quite good, it is hoped that nurses can improve caring behavior towards patients tosupport the quality of services at the Puskesmas. Keywords: Perception, caring behavior, nurses.

Abstract

This paper aims to offer a comprehensive idea for one of the issues of Indonesia’s education, particularly in Islamic education. The issues deal with low student achievement as well as the phenomenon of teacher situated in a mechanistic curriculum, through motivation theories proposed by Abraham Maslow and David McClelland. A qualitative approach was designed in this library research. The study employed discourse analysis and cultural analysis as the methods of data analysis regarding the reality of Indonesia’s education. This study promotes the urgency of enhancing students’ motivation in experiencing Islamic education, either by fulfilling five basic needs as suggested in the Maslow’s theory or by fostering need for achievement (nAch) as portrayed in the McClelland’s theory, to explore the national education problems. This study depicts that motivation constitutes the main factor that significantly contributes to students’ achievement. It, likewise, denotes the students’ abilities in developing learning materials through their creativity and innovations in terms of their own potential, specifically for Islamic education.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Self-Organized Learning Environment (SOLE) model on students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Character Education at SMP Negeri 1 Belitang. The research is motivated by the low level of students’ higher-order thinking skills, limited use of interactive learning models, and low learning motivation, which result in suboptimal learning outcomes. The objective of this study is to analyze whether the SOLE model significantly improves students’ cognitive learning outcomes compared to conventional teaching methods. This research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design, specifically the posttest-only control group design. The sample consists of two classes of eighth-grade students, where one class serves as the experimental group taught using the SOLE model, and the other as the control group taught using conventional methods. Data were collected through multiple-choice tests measuring cognitive levels (C1–C6), and analyzed using statistical tests including validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and independent sample t-test. The results indicate that although the SOLE model promotes active, collaborative, and independent learning, the statistical analysis shows no significant difference in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups at the tested stage (Sig. 0.606 > 0.05). This suggests that while SOLE has potential to enhance engagement and higher-order thinking, its effectiveness in significantly improving measurable learning outcomes requires further optimization and supporting conditions such as learning facilities and implementation strategies.
