Abstract

Inadequate tire pressure is a significant factor that accelerates tire damage and increases the risk of traffic accidents. This often occurs because tire pressure checking is still done manually with simple tools, which is not only inefficient but also prone to measurement errors. Therefore, a system capable of monitoring vehicle tire pressure automatically and in real-time is needed. This research aims to design and implement an Android-based car tire pressure monitoring system. Research data was obtained through field research and literature review. At the same time, system requirements analysis was conducted using the PIECES method (Performance, Information/Data, Economic, Control/Security, Efficiency, and Service) to ensure the quality, effectiveness, and safety of the resulting system. The results show that the developed system is capable of detecting tire pressure with high accuracy and displaying this information directly through an Android application. This feature allows users to take preventative action more quickly when abnormal pressure is detected, thereby reducing the risk of accidents and tire damage. Furthermore, the implementation of this system has been proven to improve vehicle maintenance efficiency by eliminating the need for routine manual checks. This innovation offers significant benefits not only to middle-class vehicle users but also to the upper class, who require practical and modern solutions for maintaining safe driving. Therefore, this research has a tangible impact in supporting transportation safety, reducing maintenance costs, and contributing to the development of future Internet of Things (IoT)-based automotive technology.

Abstract

The government has established a SAMSAT (One-Stop Manunggal Administration System) office, which has duties in the motor vehicle tax service. Queuing activities make people spend their time waiting. Therefore, it is necessary to create a queuing system that can inform the estimated queue time remotely. The queuing system does not require users to wait physically, so the waiting time needed to queue can be used by taxpayers to carry out their own personal and work activities that are more useful. Queuing application development aims to develop queuing service features from previous applications, which only provide queued information on taxpayers. Features developed in the form of queuing data processing with different activities, monitoring information on time, and queue status periodically. The research method used is SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) with a prototype model. The test results using the Gray Box Testing method show that queuing applications in government agencies providing motorized vehicle tax services have been successfully developed.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, teknologi yang berperan penting dalam mempermudah kegiatan manusia mengalami perkembangan pesat baik dalam bidang ekonomi, sosial dan pendidikan. Perkembangan teknologi di bidang pendidikan menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi guru dan siswa, mereka dituntut untuk melakukan inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu strategi dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi yang dapat mempengaruhi kualitas pendidikan, yaitu dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan fasilitas media pembelajaran yang sejatinya fungsi dan penggunaanya masih belum dapat dimaksimalkan oleh para guru di sekolah. Adapun media pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran menggunakan metode Gamifikasi berbasis website, dimana media ini berisi konten pembelajaran meliputi judul, materi, tugas, soal, video dan evaluasi penilaian pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Media pembelajaran ini dirancang untuk membuat para siswa lebih bersemangat dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari literature, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa Perancangan sistem media pembelajaran menggunakan metode gamifikasi berbasis web dinyatakan sangat baik untuk digunakan dan layak untuk diimplementasikan di SMKN 1 KENDARI. Media Pembelajaran menggunakan metode gamifikasi ini, masih perlu upaya pengembangan lebih lanjut, seperti penambahan fitur-fitur, meningkatkan kualitas penyimpanan yang dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam media pembelajaran berbasis Web.
