Abstract

Research has been conducted into the nature of geothermal rocks in Pamekasan. This place is located in Tlanakan Pamekasan. This study aims to determine the composition of mineral compounds in the soil so that fire can burst out from the soil and the soil does not melt. Three steps can be done with simple refinement and filtering methods, namely X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The results of XRF analysis show the element of Api Alam 1 is Ca 66.2%, Api Alam 2 is Si 37.4%, and in hot springs, is Si 39.6%. The XRD results show that mineral qualitatively in Api Alam 1 was in the form of CaCO3 compound at 60.1% and SiO2 at 39.9%, while in Api Alam 2, hot water sources were in the form of SiO2 compound (>90%). SEM Results on Api Alam 1 show that the sample is almost homogeneous (the distribution of CaCO3 and SiO2 is uneven), the presence of slab-shaped clumps that identify the presence of varying grain size, and with high porosity, which indicates that the sample is partially amorphous in structure, in Api Alam 2. The Hot springs show irregular aggregations and poor homogeneity of the sample. The size of the three samples is ten μm or 10.000 nm, while PSA results showed an average size of Api Alam 1 was 509.7 nm, Api Alam 2 was 891.3 nm, and Hot Springs was 468.3 nm.

Abstract

Belakangan ini kebakaran merupakan fenomena yang kerap kali terjadi, baik hunian yang berpotensi kebakaran tingkat ringan maupun hunian kebakaran tingkat tinkat tinggi. Ancaman bahaya kebakaran tergantung dari terkendali atau tidaknya api yang menyala. Oleh sebab itu dikatakan bahwa bahaya kebakaran adalah bahaya yang ditimbulkan oleh adanya nyala api yang tidak terkendali dan dapat mengancam keselamatan jiwa maupun harta benda. Sistem pembangunan gedung yang paling utama yakni terletak pada komponen sistem proteksi kebakaran. Pentingnya hal tersebut digunakan untuk melingdungi manusia dan aset yang ada dalam gedung tersebut. Graha Sianta-MIPA Universitas Brawijaya merupakan salah satu gedung yang memiliki tinggi bangunan dengan tiga lantai dan diklasifikasikan sebagai gedung tinggi yang harus memperhatikan Kebakaran merupakan bencana yang memiliki estimasi tingkat kewaspadaan tinggi dan memerlukan penanganan cepat. Penanganan dalam kebakaran di gedung tinggi lebih rumit dan lebih hati-hati daripada penanganan kebakaran pada daerah padat penduduk.

Abstract

Usaha dalam melakukan Pengurangan terhadap resiko bencana belum dilakukan secara optimal. Rendahnya perhatian terhadap pengurangan resiko bencana, pengetahuan, inovasi, pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap budaya keselamatan dan ketahanan pada semua lapisan. Dalam hal ini sosialisasi pengurangan resiko bencana di Kecamatan Tempursari salah satu upaya untuk memberikan pendidikan langsung secara informal kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan informasi tentang pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengurangan resiko bencana. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif, Kader Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa dan Tenaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Kecamatan sebagai bagian masyarakat dijadikan sebagai sumber data. Penggalian data dilakukan dengan wawancara, diskusi dan kuestioner. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan perhitungan persentase dan dimaknai secara kualitatif dengan melakukan reduksi dan kategori data, sehingga dapat dipahami secara komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa 1) Pemahaman masyarakat tentang kebencanaan relatif cukup baik dinilai dari aspek sensitivitas dalam merespon bencana, cara merefleksi bencana, kesadaran untuk mengurangi bencana dan tindakan menghindari yang dilakukan saat terjadi bencana. 2) Pemahaman tentang pendidikan mitigasi bencana relatif sudah ada. 3) Pendekatan pengetahuan kebencanaan merupakan modal penting bagi pendidikan mitigasi bencana relatif sudah dimiliki oleh masyarakat. 4) Pelaksanaan sosialisasi pengurangan resiko bencana dinilai baik sebagai upaya pendidikan mitigasi bencana.

Abstract

The observation has been done by gravity method on the date of 1 July to 12 August 2012 in the Kelud volcano area, Pare, Kediri, Blitar and Ngantang in order to determine the structure of magma pocket. Data analisis from field measurements performed with the following correcting the data includes: convert to mgal, drift correction, tidal correction, latitude correction and topography correction, then obtained a complete Bouguer anomaly values. Subsequently projected onto a flat surface (Damnpey) by using matlab program and resolve regional anomalies with anomaly residual. Qualitative interpretation is done by reading the complete Bouguer anomaly contour pattern, while the quantitative interpretation is done by creating a 2D cross section on the four A-A’, B-B’, C-C’, and D-D’ lines.Based on projection to the flat surface (Dampney) with equivalent field depth of 3500 and equivalent field height of 200 obtained convergent anomaly contour so that anomaly values become stable, based on quantitative interpretation 2D cross section model of A-A’, B-B’, C-C’ and D-D’ lines and describing structure of magma pocket. Slice anomali density contrast of A-A’ at  -2,930 gr/cm3 assumed as magma chamber with 900 meter dept while B-B’ slice at -2,910 gr/cm3assumed as magma chamber with 943 meters dept, C-C’ slice at -2,930 gr/cm3 assumed as magma chamber with 914 meters depth, and D-D’ slice at -2,930 gr/cm3 assumed as magma chamber with 943 meters depth.

Abstract

Kendala yang dihadapi peserta didik SDN Pakong 2 (Mitra 1) dan SDN Pakong 5 (Mitra 2) adalah kurangnya fasilitas media pembelajaran IPA berupa alat peraga serta kesulitan peserta didik dalam memahami dan memvisualisasikan materi pembelajaran yang didapat dari guru khususnya dalam kegiatan experimen IPA. berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka tim PKM memberikan pemanfaatan bahan sederhana dan daur ulang sampah menjadi alat peraga IPA yang inovatif, kreatif, menyenangkan dan berwawasan lingkungan serta untuk meningkatkan kopetensi peserta didik agar dapat memahami materi pelajaran IPA lebih cepat, lebih baik dan ingatan jangka panjang yang baik serta memiliki daya nalar yang kuat. berdasarkan kegiatan PKM yang telah dilaksanakan dapat disimpulkan mitra 1 dan mitra 2 sangat antusias dikarenakan kegiatan ini bisa menjadi patokan untuk membuat alat peraga IPA dengan menggunakan bahan sedehana dan daur ulang sampah, serta pola pikir para guru dan siswa tentang pelajaran IPA yang semula jenuh bisa berubah menjadi menyenangkan, bisa memahami dengan cepat dan tepat konsep setiap experimennya. Keberhasilan penggunaan alat peraga IPA ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya nilai rerata siswa yang semula dibawah 70 menjadi diatas 70 untuk Mitra 1, Mitra 2 semula dibawah 65 menjadi diatas 65.

Abstract

Based on observations by DPL and KKN students of Madura University, Blaban Village is located on a plateau of rocks that make it difficult to grow plants. The soil condition of Blaban village is barren and dry during the dry season, during the rainy season the soil is cracked so that it needs water absorption to collect rainwater in the soil and improve the structure of the dry soil during the dry season. With a combination of science from soil structure (Geophysical Science), water supply in the soil (Geophysical Science), liquid fertilizer (Agricultural Science), product processing (Industrial Engineering), quality and quantity management (Industrial Engineering and Management Science), financial management (Economics), marketing management (Industrial and Economic Engineering) even taking care of business licenses (Legal and Administrative Sciences), and online sales using applications (Informatics Engineering). In order to maximize the processing of purple uwi into purple uwi chips in Blaban Village, the initial planting of purple uwi to processing as well as selling purple uwi chips are done through offline and online methods. The results obtained are optimizing the sale of purple uwi crops into purple uwi chips, which has more demand by all consumers in various regions.

Abstract

Salah satu kecamatan di Pamekasan adalah Kecamatan Batumarmar (Mitra), pada Kecamatan Batumarmar terdapat 3 desa yang merupakan desa kekeringan yaitu bujur timur, bujur barat dan bujur tengah. Ketiga desa tersebut sangat kekurangan air, contohnya pada saat mandi masyarakat yang berada di 3 desa tersebut mandi di sungai yang jaraknya kurang lebih 1 kilometer. Untuk mandi saja membutuhkan perjalanan yang melelahkan. Masyarakat ini juga mencuci pakaian atau ternaknya di sungai ini. Bahkan untuk kebutuhan minum saja ketiga desa tersebut membeli dengan trek tangki ukuran besar sehingga bisa menimbun air yang cukup panjang. Tujuan Tim PKM mengatasi kekeringan dengan menggunakan sistem sanitasi, biopori dan hidroponik untuk menimbun air. Dengan adanya sistem ini diharapkan bisa membantu permasalahan diatas. Sistem ini bisa memaksimalkan penimbunan air bahkan dengan menggunakan hidroponik pakan ternak bisa tumbuh dengan lebat. Hasil yang didapat dalam pengabdian ini adalah perubahan pola pemikiran masyarakat untuk menimbun air serta ketersediaan air didalam tanah melimpah.

Abstract

The results of this study are the factors of landslides there are many cracks in the ground, normal faults, shear faults and slope of the soil surface. The higher the slope of the land surface, the more potential for landslides. Results of XRF Waru 1 Si 58.3%, Waru 2 Ca 71.37%, Waru 3 Si 43.3%. The results of XRD Waru 1 and Waru 2 were 88% SiO2 compound, Waru 3 in the form of CaCo3 compound was 75.2%. SEM results with 10,000x enlargement Waru 1 is almost homogeneous in the form of slabs which identifies an uneven grain size and with a little porosity indicating the sample is partially amorphous in structure, Waru 2 shows an inhomogeneous sample with a fairly high porous dispersion and is not equally, Waru 3 shows the existence of an almost cube crystal form with high porosity so that it causes frequent landslides due to the density of a sand is still lacking so that it makes it easy for the land to be evicted because there are still many cavities in the soil.

Abstract

Landslide zone investigation has been conducted using geoelectricity to determine the number of cracks and using a compressive strength test to determine compressive strength cracks. The result of this research is that the rock layers of Waru District consist of soil layers resulting from the weathering of quartz rock into quartz sandstone. This quartz sandstone lies on top of a more solid rock layer. The type of landslide that is formed in the Waru sub-district is translational. This type of landslide is caused by water entering the lower layer, causing landslides and the number of cracks that trigger landslides. The results of the low compressive strength test resulted in landslides. This result was due to a decrease in the number of pores filled with water and an increase in the pores that were not filled with water. This occurs due to the presence of water in the cracks, the number of cracks cavities, and the density of the cracks which results in reduced adhesion between the cracks holding layers.

Abstract

Automatic doors are generally developed by RFID cards or use cards with barcode labels. According to [1] the weakness of RFID is that the reading distance of the RFID Card is around 5 cm. According to [2] cards with barcode labels still have weaknesses such as barcode labels that are scratched, so that it cannot be identified. From RFID and barcode labels weaknesses, then an automatic door was designed using Arduino Uno with the Bluetooth module and controlled using an application on a smartphone instead of a card. Automatic doors with Android-based smartphone locks have several advantages, namely the ease, practically and relative security of losing keys. This technology is not yet commonly used by the people of Indonesia and is expected to be an alternative going forward as a solution in applying the concept of housing with smart technology. The purpose of this study is to design an automatic door using a Bluetooth signal connection and analyze the signal strength connected with a smartphone. The Bluetooth module used is the HC-05 module which operates at 2.4GHz frequency. According to [7] to produce a good Bluetooth connection, it is necessary to control and filter noise. The method in this research is to design an automatic door and then analyze the signal strength and signal range from the smartphone to the door. Smart home-based door systems with Android smartphone door locks can be used normally up to 9 meters and are considered sufficient for the size of a house in general.Keywords: automatic door, RFID card, Arduino Uno, bluetooth, smart home
