Abstract

This research aims to determine the suitability of the Mimika Regency Type C terminal facilities with Type C Terminal standards based on the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number PM 24 of 2021 and to determine the suitability of services at the Type C Terminal of Mimika Regency in accordance with the Service Standards of the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number PM 40 of 2015. This research is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the Mimika Regency Type C Terminal facilities do not comply with the standards of the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number PM 24 of 2021 concerning the operation of road transport passenger terminals and the services provided by Mimika Regency Type C Terminal officers do not meet the standards of the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Number PM 40 of 2015 concerning service standards for the operation of road transport passenger terminals.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the potential of the fisheries sector for Regional Original Income and its potential contribution. The method used in this research is the descriptive method, using a quantitative approach which has the aim of analyzing social events, phenomena or conditions. The descriptive research method is fact finding using correct interpretation. The results of this research show that the potential for levies from the Mimika Regency Fisheries Service will get greater results in several subsectors than the realization of the Mimika Regency Fisheries Service in 2022, namely on the use of regional wealth which has a potential of IDR 1,940,400,000 from the previous realization of IDR 497,315,000 , on sales of ice blocks which have a potential of IDR 84,000,000 from the previous realization of IDR 77,000,000, and on fishing business permits which have a potential of IDR 67,500,000 from the previous realization of IDR 61,677,759. This positive potential has not yet shown a significant contribution to local original income, so the average contribution during 2020-2023 is very low. If the management of the fisheries sector is handled well, it will increase Mimika's PAD and of course it can be used to support infrastructure development, public services and other development programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the development of the BUMN Creative House of Bank BRI Timika Branch on participant businesses so that they have the potential to develop. This study is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the development of the BUMN Creative House of Bank BRI Timika Branch has had a very good impact on MSME actors after training, mentoring, and capital assets.

Abstract

Transport is the transfer of people or cargo from a place of origin to a destination. School buses are multi-capacity vehicles used to transport students to school. This study aims to determine how the Effectiveness of Free School Bus Public Transport Services in Mimika Regency. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interview and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis instrument used is quantitative analysis using effectiveness analysis tools. The results showed that the effectiveness of Free School Bus Public Transport Services in Mimika Regency was declared effective.

Abstract

Provinsi Papua merupakan provinsi dengan kemiskinan tertinggi di Indonesia, sementara pertumbuhan ekonominya menunjukkan fluktuasi yang signifikan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi bagaimana dinamika bonus demografi berinteraksi dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kemiskinan, serta merumuskan strategi optimal untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis trade-off bonus demografi terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan kemiskinan di tingkat kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Papua. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menerapkan metode Fixed Effect Model (FEM) pada data panel yang mencakup 29 kabupaten/kota di Papua selama periode 2018–2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bonus demografi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi maupun tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Papua. Variabel tingkat partisipasi angkatan kerja juga tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan, sedangkan tingkat pengangguran terbuka berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Analisis spasial mengungkap adanya ketimpangan antarwilayah, di mana wilayah pegunungan cenderung memiliki tingkat kemiskinan yang tinggi meskipun rasio ketergantungan relatif rendah, sementara wilayah pesisir didominasi oleh rasio ketergantungan yang lebih tinggi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa struktur demografis belum dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal untuk mendorong kinerja ekonomi dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan kebijakan pembangunan yang berorientasi pada peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia, penciptaan lapangan kerja produktif, serta penerapan pendekatan pembangunan berbasis wilayah guna mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan bonus demografi di Provinsi Papua.
