Abstract

Problem: General elections are a manifestation of the democratic system practiced by the Indonesian state, in accordance with the principles contained in the fourth principle of Pancasila. Pancasila as the state's ideological and philosophical foundation unites and inspires the nation to achieve the goal of creating a life that respects the values of divinity, humanity, unity, democracy and justice Purpose: The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of Pancasila values in holding general elections in Indonesia Methodolgy: The research was carried out using a normative descriptive analytical approach with secondary data sourced from primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials obtained from legislation, books, expert views, articles/writings and other source materials which were compiled systematically. Results/Findings: The results of the research can be concluded that applying Pancasila values in everyday life is very important, not only during elections. However, the actualization of Pancasila is also crucial in the election context to avoid violations of election principles, such as injustice, lack of integrity and lack of peace. It is hoped that the existence of Pancasila values in general elections can become a reference and goal for a democracy that is tolerant, consensual, honest and upholds unity. In this way, elections will be an effective means of political education for society, a means of people's aspirations and not just providing theories without real implementation Keywords: Pancasila Values, General Election, Democracy.

Worker welfare is a fulfillment of the needs and requirements required by workers, both facilities and services. In particular, this article aims not only to identify the implementation of Law number 11 of 2020 in Tangerang Regency, but also to analyze the welfare of workers after the implementation of the Job Creation Law and the efforts of the Manpower Department to ensure the welfare of workers in Tangerang Regency. Researchers used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach, the data used came from scientific articles, literature studies conducted before the research and interviews conducted through observation. The research results show that the implementation of the job creation law is still not underway, there are still companies that do not implement the law in accordance with the provisions of supervision from the government which is really needed. After the implementation of the Job Creation law there has been no immediate visible change, for the next 5 years there will be no increase in workers' wages. The Tangerang Regency Manpower Office carries out supervision in an effort to improve the welfare of workers so that they get the minimum wage, monitors working hours so that they comply with statutory regulations, and also ensures that workers receive BPJS Health.

Abstract

In the era of economic globalization, Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) practices by multinational enterprises (MNEs) have become a significant challenge for developing countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the legal effectiveness and economic impact of Indonesia’s doctrinal approach in combating cross-border tax avoidance, particularly through profit shifting. The study examines the integration of anti-BEPS policies into Indonesia’s domestic legal system, including the implementation of the substance over form principle, Controlled Foreign Corporation (CFC) rules, General Anti-Avoidance Rules (GAAR), and the adoption of the Global Anti-Base Erosion (GloBE) rules under BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two. The research employs a doctrinal and law and economics approach to assess the success of these regulatory measures. The findings indicate that while Indonesia has demonstrated a strong commitment to aligning its regulations with international standards, major challenges remain in enforcement, the complexity of international tax rules, and data limitations that hinder impact measurement. Economically, these measures have the potential to enhance tax revenues but may also affect investment competitiveness. Therefore, sustained efforts are required to strengthen the capacity of tax institutions, clarify administrative guidelines, and maintain a balance between tax compliance and investment climate. This study contributes to the international tax literature by offering a comprehensive evaluation of Indonesia’s approach to addressing global tax avoidance.

Abstract

Jayamekar Village is renowned for its stone mortar craftsmanship, yet most entrepreneurs still rely on traditional marketing, limiting market reach. Despite the products' cultural value, promotion remains localized, limiting sales growth. This study implements mobile marketing to enhance digital strategies for increased sales and improved product image. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, entrepreneurs actively participate in training on digital platforms such as WhatsApp Business, Facebook Ads, and Shopee over four weeks. Results showed notable improvements: regular customers increased from 10 to 14–20, monthly transactions rose from 25 to 35, social media engagement surged from 30 to 250 interactions, and online sales grew from 5 to 30 units. Entrepreneurs who adapted quickly became role models, fostering collaboration. The study highlights mobile marketing's role in accelerating digital transformation for local products, contributing to economic growth. Unlike previous research on MSMEs, this study emphasizes direct engagement through PAR, ensuring practical application and sustainability. Future studies should explore long-term evaluations and alternative digital platforms for broader market reach.
