Abstract

Civil society groups and political parties have disagreed with the presidential threshold article passed by Parliament and the government. The regulation is considered to limit the democratic rights and freedom of the public in choosing, determining, and submitting themselves as presidential candidates. This study aims to explain how actors (agencies) build movements against presidential threshold regulations (structure). The theory used in this study is Anthony Giddens' structuration theory. This research uses qualitative methods by analyzing some content in online media and Constitutional Court rulings related to presidential threshold lawsuits and processing data using the Nvivo 12+ application. The findings of this study indicate that the most crucial aspect of the movement against actors is that it is conducted by challenging the presidential threshold rule before the Constitutional Court, developing public opinion, and holding multiple demonstrations. Second, the size of the presidential threshold rejection vote is based on the future of democracy and freedom, weakening the presidential system and contradicting other regulations. Third, of the many lawsuits filed by the public and political parties, the Constitutional Court has consistently rejected them because the rule is an open legal policy, which means fully being a lawmaker, in this case, in Parliament.

Abstract

The mobility of urban citizens is demonstrated through a transportation system supported by adequate transportation policies and networks. The Tangerang City Government strives to realize this commitment through Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)-based transportation that is sustainable and oriented towards the development of modern cities. The purpose of the study was to see whether transportation mobility in BRT Tangerang City has a relationship with community satisfaction of service users. This study uses a quantitative approach that analyzes two variables, namely urban transportation mobility and community satisfaction. The sampling used a multistage random sampling technique and involved 100 respondents. The results showed that urban transportation mobility has not had a significant impact on community satisfaction, where the results of the t test explain The hypothesis carried out in this study is not appropriate because the calculated t value is smaller than the table t (-0.648 > 0.195). This means that H0 (There is no effect of SUM on community satisfaction in using BRT) is accepted and H1 (there is an effect of SUM on community satisfaction in using BRT) is rejected because variable (x) SUM negatively affects variable (y) community satisfaction which has a value of 0.4% and 99.6% is affected by other variables.

Abstract

Currently, behind the glittering capital of Jakarta, there are still many problems of social inequality that occur. This social inequality is still felt by vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities who live in the Jakarta Capital City settlements. The fulfillment of basic needs is a program established by the government aimed at the welfare of people with disabilities. This article specifically describes the program to fulfill the basic needs of people with disabilities. The research obtained was then analyzed and interpreted to see the extent to which the basic needs program had an impact on people with disabilities. Under the current era of government policies, basic needs programs are still being implemented in accordance with the provisions of the laws that have been implemented. In addition, the government provides the program in the form of the Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (JPDC). With the Jakarta Persons with Disabilities Card (JPDC), it is hoped that people with disabilities can easily obtain this assistance. The assistance is disbursed through a Bank DKI ATM independently. For recipients who do not have legal skills, they can provide a power of attorney to a trusted person, and for recipients who are underage, they can be represented by a parent or guardian by bringing a family card and birth certificate. The current basic needs program is still being implemented to this day to continue to prosper people with disabilities. For reference to better explain how the program to fulfill basic needs is carried out properly.

Abstract

Wadas Village in Purworejo faces environmental destruction due to planned andesite mining for the Bener Dam, threatening local resources and the community's socio-economic life. Muhammadiyah and NU play key roles in supporting residents' efforts to protect the environment and social justice. This study examines their involvement in maintaining environmental sustainability and social justice in Wadas Village, focusing on their contributions to organizing the community. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used in this research. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with residents, Muhammadiyah and NU members, and observations of advocacy activities and actions carried out by both organizations. The data were analyzed thematically. The findings show that Muhammadiyah and NU are actively involved in legal advocacy, scientific research, and religious activities, such as mujahaddah at local mosques, to build social awareness and strengthen the residents' resistance to harmful policies. The struggle of Wadas residents is closely linked to the active roles of Muhammadiyah and NU in fostering social solidarity, collective awareness, and environmental sustainability advocacy. This study highlights the significant contribution of religious organizations in social and environmental movements and their influence on public policies favoring the community.
