Abstract

Background: Cervical cancer ranks first after breast cancer in developing countries, one of which is in Indonesia. Cervical cancer is a sexually transmitted disease that originates from a viral infection, namely the human papilloma virus which stimulates changes in the behavior of cervical epithelial cells. The prevalence of women against cervical cancer is large because of the tendency for women to marry at a young age and the limited economic capacity that makes access to information limited. The provision of health education through zoom meetings considering the limitations due to the pandemic is very necessary for teenagers as a preventive effort considering that at the age of teenagers they are very vulnerable to having free sex. Objective: The effect of education through a zoom meeting on cervical cancer on the knowledge of young women in SMA Negeri 1 Lumbung in March 2022. The research used is a quantitative study. Methods: a tool for data collection using a questionnaire while the total sampling technique with a sample of 40 students. Results: The results of data analysis using a t-test on the effect of education through zoom meetings on cervical cancer obtained a significant value because the value of t count > t table = 15,627 > 2,023 and the value of > p value = 0.05 > 0.000. Conclusion: from the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of health education between before being given health education and after being given health education.

Abstract

Introduction: The postpartum period is a period of recovery of the uterine organs as before pregnancy, the recovery time is around 6-8 weeks. Physical and mental changes will experience different changes that can disrupt daily activities. Several types of complications that may occur include physical, mental and emotional problems, for example fatigue, decreased sexual relations, anxiety, constipation, breastfeeding problems, sleep disorders, bleeding and difficulty urinating. Objective: The aim of this research was to determine the effect of E-FAS on the knowledge of postpartum mothers at the Khasanah Panumbangan Clinic. Method: This research design uses the Quasy experimental method with pretest and posttest. This research design takes the form of a non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were 30 postpartum mothers at the Khasanah Clinic, Panumbangan District, Ciamis Regency. This research instrument uses a questionnaire to determine the knowledge of postpartum mothers. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Test to see the effect of E-FAS on increasing the knowledge of postpartum mothers. Result: the results of statistical analysis with an average ranking value of 10.50 while the number of positive rankings or sum of rank was 210. There were 10 people with the same score before being given E FAS and after being given E FAS. The Wilcoxon test obtained a p value of 0.000 (<0.005) so it can be concluded that there is an influence of E FAS on the knowledge of postpartum mothers at the Khasanah Clinic, Panumbangan District. Conclusion: E-FAS can be used as a medium for health information, especially in midwifery care after childbirth and breastfeeding.

Abstract

Introduction: Information media is an intermediary in the delivery of information or a tool to support the communication process. The E MCH book is used as a record book for the development of maternal health starting from pregnancy, postpartum and breastfeeding, and infants to toddlers. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of E MCHinformation media in improving the knowledge of pregnant women. Method: The type of research used is quasi experimental research with a one group pre test-post test design. The population in this study were 40 pregnant women in the Sumberjaya Cihaurbeuti Poskesdes Working Area obtained from the total sample technique. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test statistical technique with a questionnaire research instrument. The results of the study are presented in tabular form. Result: There was an increase in the knowledge of pregnant women about maternal and child health in the good category by 2.5% during the pre-test and by 42.5% during the post-test after the intervention using E MCHinformation media. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test test obtained a p-value of 0,000 (p < 0,05). Conclusion: E MCHinformation media is effective in increasing the knowledge of pregnant women in the working area of Poskesdes Sumberjaya Cihaurbeuti.

Abstract

Introduction: Early age is a golden opportunity for children to learn, so it is called the golden age. Early childhood education is a form of education that focuses on laying the foundation for physical growth and development (fine and gross motor coordination). the learning techniques used must make children happy, so the method used is learning-based education while playing and the Engklek game is one of the traditional games that can be used. Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to implement play-based learning through the medium of traditional crank games to improve gross motor development in early childhood at PAUD Kober Al-Maarif. Method: The method used in health promotion is education based on learning while playing. This health promotion was carried out at PAUD Kober Al-Maarif Lakbok with a total of 35 participants with a series of activities through 4 stages, namely 1) selection of targets and places, 2) preparation of facilities and infrastructure, 3) implementation of activities, 4) evaluation. Results: based on the results of the evaluation carried out by the learning while playing method, it gave a positive response to the participants. the participants enjoyed the series of events from start to finish with joy. Through this activity, children are more able to explore their imagination and bring out their creativity and talents. Conclusion: This activity can be carried out as a game to train gross motor skills in early childhood by using the traditional crank game as media. In addition, not only gross motor skills but also exploring other learning that can be included in playing activities by recognizing numbers and letters and counting.

Abstract

Introduction: The success of the maternal health program can be assessed through the main indicator, maternal mortality rate (MMR). One of the efforts that can be made to reduce MMR is the suggestion that health workers are expected to be able to prevent obstetric complications such as hypertension in pregnancy and the puerperium. Every pregnancy, in its development, has a risk of experiencing complications. Antenatal care must be carried out routinely, according to standards, and integrated for quality antenatal care. Antenatal care is very necessary for every pregnant woman because her condition greatly affects the continuity of pregnancy and the growth of the fetus in her womb. Laboratory tests are very important for the early detection of complications in pregnancy and childbirth so that they can be prevented and appropriate management carried out. Laboratory examination as a form of screening for the health conditions of pregnant women is a promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative effort to prevent maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality provided by health workers. Objective: The purpose of this community service is to increase the mother's knowledge by providing health education on the importance of laboratory tests and performing hemoglobin, urine glucose, and urine protein examination services so that pregnant women can find out the condition of their pregnancy. Method: The implementation method is by providing health education and services for checking hemoglobin, urine glucose, and urine protein. Result: There were 13 pregnant women who did hemoglobin and urine tests, there were 11 pregnant women (84.6%) with non-anemia results and 2 pregnant women (15.4%) with anemia results. Then from the results of urine glucose and urine protein examinations, it was found that 13 pregnant women were all negative (100%). Conclusion: The target is very enthusiastic about participating in the activity. Pregnant women also feel very happy to be able to do their own pregnancy checks in an effort to detect early pregnancy complications that may occur. Laboratory tests found two pregnant women who had anemia during pregnancy, and all pregnant women had urine glucose and urine protein tests that were all negative.

Abstract

Introduction: Having a child with special needs can be challenging for parents, especially mothers. Maternal stress can have a negative impact on the quality of life of children with special needs. Mothers with high stress tend to be authoritarian, abusive and interact negatively. High levels of stress can affect mothers' mental and physical health, so efforts need to be made to reduce these stress levels. Objective: The purpose of this activity is to prevent and reduce stress levels in mothers of children with special needs. Methods: This community service activity was carried out on 25 August 2023, located at SLB Negeri Ciamis, with 25 mothers who have children with special needs as respondents.  Methods in this counselling with 1) Identification of mothers who have children with special needs 2) Counselling 3) Evaluation and demonstration. Results: Based on the evaluation results in counselling activities regarding stress prevention in mothers who have children with special needs, it is found that mothers have understood the material provided by evaluating being able to answer the questions given and can demonstrate benson therapy independently.  Conclusion: Respondents are enthusiastic and understand the material provided, where respondents are able to answer questions given and are able to demonstrate benson therapy independently.

Abstract

Objective: The purpose of this research is to make and create a simple IUD insertion phantom that can be used by lecturers and students in the teaching and learning process, making it easier for students to do the practicum learning process at home. Method: The method used in this development is the research and development (R&D) method. Result: The feasibility results of the validation of the phantom display by experts were obtained as much as 93%; the validation of the phantom function was 95%; the field trial resulted in a student response of 89.5% related to the phantom display and 99% of the phantom function. Conclusion: A simple phantom of intrauterine contraceptive device insertion innovation of learning method during the COVID-19 pandemic is created and can be used.
