Abstract

Background : Supine examination of lumbosacral antero posterior projection (AP) is used to obtain a clear lumbosacral radiograph, one of which shows an intervertebral disc. The objective the research was to determine the knee joint flexion position and knee joint extension position on the antero posterior lumbosacral (AP) Supine examination in the appearance of intervertebral discs. Methods : Research of the position of the knee joint flexion and extension on the lumbosacral antero posterior (AP) Supine examination in displaying intervertebral discs, this is a comparative descriptive study, the researchers compared the position of the knee joint flexion and extension on Supine's lumbosacral antero posterior (AP) examination in showing the intervertebral disc so that it can be seen which position is better in performing Supine antero posterior (AP) lumbosacral radiographic examination in showing the intervertebral disc and which radiograph results. the best in establishing the diagnosis Result : From the research data in showing the knee joint flexion and extension position, the mean value of the joint gap on Supine's lumbosacral (AP) examination in showing L-1 intervertebral disc in the knee joint flexion position was 8.8 mm while the knee joint extension position was 8.8 mm. 7 mm intervertebral disc L-2, knee joint flexion is 10.2 mm, while knee joint extension is 9.2 mm, intervertebral disc L-3, knee joint flexion is 9 mm, while knee joint extension is 7.8 mm , intervertebral disc L-4 knee joint flexion position is 11 mm while knee joint extension is 9.8 mm, lumbal sacrum joint knee joint flexion is 9 mm while knee joint extension is 6.6 mm. Conclusion : The position of the knee joint flexion on the lumbosacral antero posterior (AP) examination Supine is better at showing the anatomical structure of the vertebral bodies, intervertebral discs, intervertebral foramen L1-L4, spinous processes, sacrum, and intervertebral disc joint gaps, intervertebral disc. The position of the knee joint extension on the examination of the lumbosacral antero posterior (AP) Supine can reveal the anatomical structures of the vertebral bodies, intervertebral discs, intervertebral foramen L1-L4, spinous processes, sacrum, but in revealing intervertebral disc joints, Intervertebral disc.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the stability of student career choices is low. The purpose of this study is to improve the stability of career choices through REBT group counseling services in class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Talangpadang 2019/2020 school year. The method in this research is quasi experimental design nonequivalent control group design. Research subjects were 8 experimental groups and 8 control groups. Data collection techniques use the scale of career choice stability. The results of data analysis using the Mann Whitney Test data obtained value (Sig.) 0.003 0.05, meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of the study is that there are differences in the value of the stability of career choices in students who get treatment with students who do not get Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) counseling in class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Talangpadang 2019/2020 school year.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kemantapan pilihan karir siswa rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemantapan pilihan karir melalui layanan konseling kelompok REBT pada siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 1 Talangpadang tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimental desain nonequivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 8 orang kelompok eksperimen dan 8 orang kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kemantapan pilihan karir. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji data Mann Whitney Test diperoleh nilai (Sig.) 0,003 0,05, artinya adalah Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat perbedaan nilai kemantapan pilihan karir pada siswa yang mendapatkan perlakuan dengan siswa yang tidak mendapatkan perlakuan konseling kelompok Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) pada siswa kelas XI di SMK Negeri 1 Talangpadang tahun ajaran 2019/2020.Kata kunci: kemantapan pilihan karir, konseling kelompok, rebt

Abstract

Radiation effect is one of which is the reduction in estrogen. Gamma rays are ionizing radiation that can lead to cell damage due to free radicals produced when the radiation interacts with cells. The level of cell damage can be minimized by antioxidants. Antioxidants used is the isoflavones of soy milk, so it can be know the effects of radiation on the decline in estrogen that accompanied the consumption of isoflavones to prevent early menopause in radiation therapy.Radiation exposure are given fractionally. The dose was 1,5 Gy in once exposure and given every 3 days up to a maximum dose of the treatment groups. Consumption of soy milk to the mice done orally. Blood was drawn and serum was made. Serum estrogen levels will be tested by using ELISA.The results showed that the ovarium disfunction and stress experienced by mice (Mus musculus) caused by radiation exposure. Maximum results in the consumption of isoflavones on estrogen levels the subject to radiation exposure is 44 mg/day and 131 mg/day of soy milk. This isoflavone dose increase in estrogen levels maximumly. The increase was the response given by the body's immune system of mice due to start reacting and isoflavones are phytoestrogens.

Abstract

Radiotherapy is an alternative treatment for cancer patients to inhibit and destroy cancer cells due to the ionization. Gamma rays ionize not only cancer cells but also damage healthy cells due to precence of free radicals produced by ionizing gamma rays when interacting with biological material. The decrease in blood cells as ie hemoglobin, leukocytes and platelets caused free radicals can be minimized by administering antioxidant vitamins C and E. This study was conducted to determine the effects of gamma radiation exposure to the decrease in hemoglobin blood cells, leukocytes and platelets of mice after administration of a combination of antioxidant vitamins C and E in five variations, namely 10 mg dose: 1μl, 15 mg: 1.5 μl, 20 mg: 2 μl, 25 mg: 2.5 μl, 30 mg: 3 μl. Exposure of gamma radiation was given fractionation ranging from 200 rads to 1000 rads. Blood was taken from the heart for hemoglobin, leukocytes and platelets tests. The results showed that the administration of vitamins C and E may reduce the decline in hemoglobin levels, leukocytes, platelets resulting from exposure to gamma radiation when compared to the control group or without vitamin.

Abstract

Pollution has been occured in our environment due to daily life waste, industrial and using of peptiside in agroindustrial farm. Over usuage and dose of peptiside could be harmfull to the farm environment especially for fish farm. Measurement of membrane potential of fish egg cells is a simple metode to investigate water polution level. Membrane potential of fish egg cells can be measured using microelectrode probe which is connected to an electrometer. The changing of membrane potential value indicate the level of water polution. Variation of peptiside concentrations cause the changing of potential membrane value. Increasing of peptiside concentration cause decreasing of potential membrane. Its may due to some blocking of channel and other protein by peptiside molecule so the permeability of membrane to ions is decrease. The results of our experiment show that the increasing of peptiside concentration cause decreasing of the membrane potential value. For peptiside concentration of  0.4% decrease potential membrane to -28 ± 5 mV. It means that the increasing peptiside concentration cause significanly decrease in potential membrane which may be used for prediction of water polution level.

Abstract

Informed consent means consent given by the patient or family after obtaining information from the radiographer or administration. Every medical action always carries a risk on this basis.Inform consent needs to be implemented in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1014 / MENKES / SK / IX / 2008 concerning Diagnostic Radiology Service Standards in Health Service Facilities and Regulations of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 357 / MENKES / PER / V / 2006 concerning Radiographer Registration and Work Permits. Almost all examinations that are potentially hazardous to patients should be done with informed consent, one example of the importance of providing informed consent for CT-scanning using contrast media in an effort to improve patient safety. This type of research is descriptive. The data analysis carried out in this research is descriptive analysis with existing theoretical approaches. The overall results of the study are in accordance with the function of giving informed consent, namely to provide protection to patients as the subject of health service recipients and to encourage radiographers to be careful in examining patients. By providing informed consent before examination to patients, patient safety can be improved.

Abstract

Gadget merupakan salah satu teknologi yang yang sedang berkembang saat ini dan diminati anak-anak. Pengguna gadget mulai dari kalangan anak, remaja dan dewasa. Bahaya radiasi elektromagnetik pada gadget lebih tinggi pada anak-anak bila dibandingkan pada orang dewasa karena anatomi tubuh anak berukuran lebih kecil. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan atau edukasi kepada anak-anak berupa penyuluhan sehingga dapat menggunakan gadget secara tepat dan mencegah bahaya radiasi elektromagnetik dari penggunaan gadget yang berlebih pada anak. Penggunaan gadget yang berlebih mempunyai dampak buruk pada sosial, psikologis, kesehatan mata dan emosional anak. Penyuluhan bahaya radiasi disampaikan dengan metode ceramah, diskusi serta tanya jawab. Hasil dari penyuluhan yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan bahwa masih kurangnya pengetahuan anak-anak usia dini tentang informasi kesehatan, bahaya radiasi dan penggunaan gadget yang benar. Melalui penyuluhan bahaya radiasi ini diharapkan agar anak-anak usia dini meningkatkan kesadaran untuk menjaga kesehatan dan menggunakan gadget yang benar. Penggunaan gadget yang benar meliputi mengatur jarak pandang, mengatur durasi penggunaan gadget dan tidak menggunakan dalam posisi tidur.
