Abstract

The research problem was whether the information service discussion method can be used to increase student’s learning motivation. The purpose of the study was to determine the increase in learning motivation by using the information service discussion method at the eighth grade of SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung Academic Year of 2018/2019. The method used in this study was the Quasi Experiment method with Pretest and Posttest Design. The research subjects were 20 students who had low learning motivation. The data were obtained by using learning motivation scale. The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test, obtained zvalue= -3.922 ztable = 1.645, then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Conclusion of research is information service with discussion method could be used to increase learning motivation at the eighth grade of SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2018/2019.Permasalahan penelitian adalah Apakah layanan informasi metode diskusi dapat dipergunakan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar dengan menggunakan layanan informasi metode diskusi pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Quasi Eksperiment dengan Pretest and Posttest Design.Subjek penelitian sebanyak 20 siswa yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala motivasi belajar. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Matched Pairs Test, diperoleh zhitung= -3,922 ztabel = 1,645 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Abstract

The problem with this research is peer social interaction. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the intensity of smartphone use and peer social interaction. The research method used is a quantitative method. The sample of this study used a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of having a smartphone totaling 68 students. Data collection techniques use the intensity scale of smartphone use and social interaction of peers. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant negative relationship between the intensity of smartphone use and peer social interaction, this is based on the results of the analysis using product moment techniques obtained r-count = -0,819 r-table = 0.2387. The conclusion is that the higher the intensity of smartphone use, the lower the social interaction of peers in students.Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah interaksi sosial teman sebaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara intensitas penggunaan smartphone dengan interaksi sosial teman sebaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria memiliki smartphone berjumlah 68 siswa. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan skala intensitas penggunaan smartphone dan interaksi sosial teman sebaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan negatif antara intensitas penggunaan smartphone dengan interaksi sosial teman sebaya, hal ini berdasarkan hasil analisa menggunakan teknik product moment yang diperoleh nilai r-hitung = -0,819 r-tabel = 0,2387. Kesimpulannya yaitu semakin tinggi intensitas penggunaan smartphone maka semakin rendah interaksi sosial teman sebaya pada siswa.Kata kunci: interaksi sosial, smartphone, teman sebaya

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the relationship between parenting with social interaction skill. The method was a quantitative study with a correlational design, and then was analyzed using statistical parametric product moment correlation. The research sample were 80 students. Statistical analysis showed if there was rxy = 0.749 and rtable 0,219; rxy rtable which meant that Ho rejected and Ha accepted. It showed us that parenting had a strong relationship with social interaction skill at senior high school students. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan antara pengasuhan orang tua dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik parametrik korelasi product moment. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 80 siswa. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan rxy =0,749 dan rtabel = 0,219; rxy rtabel. maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengasuhan orang tua memiliki hubungan yang kuat dengan kemampuan interaksi sosial pada siswa SMA.Kata kunci : pengasuhan, interaksi sosial, siswa SMA

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the increasing of student’s study motivation by using group guidance service. This research used experiment method with one group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research was eight students which had the low study motivation. The data collecting technique in this research was used the study motivation scale. The result of this research shown that study motivation could be increased by group guidance service, This could be looked from data analyzed of pretest and posttest that shown that Zoutput= -2,533and Ztabel 0,05 = 4, Because Zoutput Ztabel so that Ha was be received. It mean that the low study motivation school students in the tenth grade of MAN 1 Krui Lampung Barat in year 2012/2013 could be increased by group guidance service.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa menggunakan layanan bimbingan kelompok.Metode penelitian adalah metode quasi experimental dengan desain One-GroupPretest-Posttest. Subyek penelitian sebanyak8orang siswa kelas X yang memiliki motivasi belajar rendah.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan bimbingan kelompok, terbukti dari hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxon, hasil pretest dan posttest yang diperoleh Zhitung= -2,533 dan Ztabel 0,05 = 4, Karena Zhitung Ztabel maka Ha diterima, artinya motivasi belajar siswa kelas X MAN Krui Kabupaten Lampung Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013 dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan layanan bimbingan kelompok.Kata kunci : bimbingan dan konseling, bimbingan kelompok, motivasi belajar

Abstract

The problem this research was whether of positive reinforcement could increase students’ dicipline toward the school rule at the nineth grade of SMP Satya Dharma Sudjana Gunung Madu academic year 2012/2013. The objective of this research was to find out the use of positive reinforcement in increasing students’ dicipline toward the school rule at the nineth grade of SMP Satya Dharma Sudjana Gunung Madu academic year 2012/2013. The researcher used kuasi experiment with one group pretest-posttest experiment design. There were six students had poor dicipline toward school rule. The data collection of the research was through partipants observation and interview. The result showed that positive reinforcement technique could increase students’ dicipline toward the school rule at the nineth grade. It was showed from the result of data analysis, using wilcoxon test. The result of pretest and posttest was p= 0.026; p 0.05. So, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. It could be inferred that positive reinforcement could increase students’ dicipline at the nineth grade of SMP. The conclusion of this research was positive reinforcement could increase students’ dicipline at the nineth grade of SMP Satya Dharma Sudjana Gunung Madu academic year 2012/2013. The suggestions that given were: (1) The students have to try to increase their dicipline, so in doing their activity students do not face the obstacle in daily life with their friends, teachers, and others. Especially for students as the subject of this research, the students should increase their dicipline toward the school rule. (2)for teachers, the teachers are expected to give information to the students about the important of dicipline to in increase the students’ dicipline actively. (3) the researcher hope to the others to do the same research but use the old different subject.Key word: students’ dicipline, positive reinforcement tehnique.

Abstract

The problem in research is that students are not stable enough in their plans to study in tertiary institutions. This study aims to determine the use of career information in group guidance to strengthen study plans for tertiary education in class XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. This study uses a pre-experimental method with one group pretest and posttest design. Research subjects were 20 students. Data collection techniques using a scale of study plans to college. The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtained zcount = -3,922 ≤ ztable = 1,645. In accordance with the provisions in the Wilcoxon test, if zcount ≤ ztable then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So from the results of the study it can be concluded that career information in group guidance can be used to strengthen study plans for tertiary education in class XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung.Masalah dalam penelitian adalah siswa kurang mantap terhadap rencana studi ke perguruan tinggi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan informasi karier dalam bimbingan kelompok untuk memantapan rencana studi ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan one group pretest dan posttest design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 20 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala rencana studi ke perguruan tinggi. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh zhitung = -3.922 ≤ ztabel = 1,645. Sesuai ketentuan dalam uji Wilcoxon, jika zhitung ≤ ztabel maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa informasi karier dalam bimbingan kelompok dapat digunakan untuk memantapkan rencana studi ke perguruan tinggi pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung.Kata kunci: bimbingan kelompok, informasi karier, rencana studi perguruan tinggi

Abstract

The aims of this study was to know the improvement self confidence of students by using rational emotive behavior therapy. The problem on this research was the low of self confidence students in activities learning. The method used in this research was Quasi experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The data research analyzed by used non-parametric Wilcoxon test. The subjects of this study were 6 students, who had low self confidence in learning. The stastiscally analyzed showed z output= 2,207 and z table= 1,960. Because z output z table, then Ho was ignored and Ha was accepted. It meant that there was significant increases between self confidence of students before and after being given counseling rational emotive behavior therapy. The conclusion was that self confidence of students could be increased by counseling rational emotive behavior therapy of students.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan percaya diri siswa dengan menggunakanrational emotive behavior therapy.Masalah pada penelitian ini adalah percaya diri siswa rendah dalam belajar, Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi experimental dengan bentukone group pretest-posttest, kemudian data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan statistik non parametrik menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Subyek penelitian sebanyak enam orang siswa yang memiliki percaya diri rendah dalam pembelajaran. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan z hitung = 2,207 dan z tabel = 1,960. Karena z hitung z tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri siswa sebelum dan setelah diberikan konselingrational emotive behavior therapy. Kesimpulan, kepercayaan diri siswa dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan konselingrationale motive behavior therapy pada siswa.Kata kunci : bimbingan dan konseling, kepercayaan diri, rational emotive behavior therapy

Abstract

This reseach aimed to find information about the change of self concept to the positive way, which occurred to deaf people after being given individual counseling service. This research used quantitative method. 2 persons with deaf involved in this research. Data collecting technique was through self concept scale. Data analysis of this research was descriptive. This research concluded that there was an increasing number toward more positive self concept as much as 10, 48% for Ade and 11, 76% for Chandra. Therefore Ho was accepted, it means that the deaf self concept couldnt be increased through individual counseling.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perubahan konsep diri ke arah yang positif yang terjadi pada diri Individu dengan keterbatasan mendengar dan berbicara atau disebut Tunarungu setelah diberikan layanan konseling individu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini dua orang penyandang Tunarungu. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala konsep diri. Analisis data dari penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, hasil penelitian ini adalah terdapat peningkatan skor konsep diri klien ade sebanyak 10,84% dan 11,76% pada klien Chandra. Sehingga Ho diterima, maka konsep diri tunarungu tidak dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan konseling Individu.Kata kunci: bimbingan dan konseling, konsep diri, tunarungu

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the final-year students’ employability. This is quantitative descriptive research. The descriptive percentage and Rasch Model were used as the techniques. The sample of this research was the final-year students’ of departement language and arts education program, especially the Indonesian and Literature, English, and French Education students. The total number of the sample was 77 students. The instruments of this research were the employability scale. The result showed that the level of the final-year students’ employability of Indonesian and Literature  (84%), English (94%) and French Education study program (93%) was generally high. This indicated that the employability at the final-year students’of Indonesian and Literature, English, and French Education study program was generally into high category.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan kerja mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik analisis data deskriptif prosentase dan Rasch model. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 77 mahasiswa yang diambil dari program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, dan Bahasa Prancis. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala kesiapan kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kesiapan kerja mahasiswa tingkat akhir program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (84%), Bahasa Inggris (94%), dan Bahasa Prancis (93%) yang dapat dikategorikan tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesiapan kerja mahasiswa tingkat akhir program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, dan Bahasa Prancis termasuk dalam kategori tinggi.Kata kunci: bimbingan konseling, kesiapan kerja, mahasiswa

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in self-confidence in learning after attending a group counseling services in the students. The problem in this study was the low of students’ self-confidence. The question in this study was "Is there an increase in self-confidence in students' learning after attending a group counseling services to the students?". The method used in this study was pre-experimental design methods with one-group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this study were eight students of grade XI. Data collection techniques in this study using the scale techniques and supported by unstructured observation.The results obtained in this study indicate that there was an increase in self-confidence in learning after attending a group counseling services, as indicated from the results of the data analysis using the Wilcoxon test, from the pretest and posttest results we obtained p = 0.012: p 0.05. Then, Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, which mean that there was an increase in self-confidence in learning after attending a counseling group. The conclusion of this study was that there was an increase of self-confidence in learning after attending a group counseling services in the students. The advice given are: (1) The students should be able to take part in group counseling services, thus they can increas their confidence in learning, (2) Counselling teachers should conduct group counseling activities to help students improve their self-confidence in learning.kata kunci: bimbingan konseling, konseling kelompok, percaya diri dalam belajar
