Abstract

The splitting of Southwest Maluku District from the central district has been encouraging the increase of marine transport services demand. The condition of the region consisted of islands whose main access is by the sea and the low level of economic are the reasons why people prefer cheap rates rather than security and comfort in traveling. This can be seen in pioneering fleet cruise route (KM. Sabuk Nusantara 31) with a capacity of 400 passengers and 50 tons of goods covering 3.096 mile distance by 10 harbors on West Southeast Maluku route and 12 harbors on Southwest Maluku. Therefore, based on previously describred condition, the aim of this research was to investigate the loading condition by comparing existing supply and supply demand according to the existing movement data projected using trend projection method by liniar trend equation and forecasting accuracy assessment by squared error average value (MAPE). Consequently, this would lead to the finding of movement value in the next 10 year used to determine the type, number and capacity of the appropriate fleet. As a result of this study, fleet services condition of KM. Sabuk Nusantara 31 was not optimal based on capacity and range of services so that it required 1 additional pioneering fleet, 2000 type with the capacity of 2000 passengers, operated specifically to serve B route (Southwest Maluku District). Keywords : Forecast, Movement, Capacity, Southwest Maluku.

Abstract

The Trans Seram road section of Lumoli Village, West Seram Regency has a length of 7,150m and a width of 6m starting from STA 0+000 to STA 7+150. Along the road section there are four landslide points, namely at STA 0+350, STA 1+850, STA 2+600 and STA 3+615. Of the four avalanche points, there are three points that have been handled and the remaining one point has not been handled. The avalanche problem at STA 3+615 - STA 3+650 occurs along 35m with a slope height of 6m already covering the road body ± 4.2m remaining 1.8m. This greatly disrupts the activities of road users because it causes narrowing of the road body and temporary avalanche handling using used asphalt dromes. The purpose of this research is to determine the dimensions and stability of retaining walls against shear, overturning and soil bearing capacity on the Lumoli village trans seram road section. The planning of retaining walls on the trans seram road section of Lumoli village uses a cantilever type with a height of no more than 6-7m as a structure to prevent soil collapse by using rankine theory to calculate lateral soil pressure. The results of the dimensions of the cantilever type retaining wall H = 4m, H1 = 3.52m, H2 = 0.48m, Df = 0.8m, H2 = 16m, H22 = 0.23m, A = 0.66, b = 0.3m, C = 1.18m, D = 0.66m, B = 2.8m. And the results of stability against overturning = 3.027 ≥1.5 Safe, stability against shear = 2.910 ≥1.5 Safe and stability against bearing capacity = 809.045 Kn/m2.

Abstract

Drainage is an important component as a complementary building for roads. The drainage system was built to channel water discharge originating from the hydrological cycle and waste water from household and community activities. A well-built drainage system can prevent waterlogging which can disrupt the activities of the surrounding community and can also prevent road damage. This research method was carried out directly at the research location to obtain existing data directly from the field and library research. Based on the planned discharge, the author uses the People's Log Distribution III, to calculate the dimensions of the drainage channel on the Loki village road. From the results of research and drainage planning calculations, it was found that the planned water discharge on the Loki village road was 0.472 m3/second. And from the results of planning the channel dimensions, it was obtained that the width of the top of the channel was 90 cm, the width of the bottom of the channel was 55 cm, and the depth of the channel was 75 cm.

Abstract

Handling road damage by overlaying the old road surface layer and planning a drainage system to improve the area value of the Waemital-Kawatu road section, West Seram Regency. The aim of the research was to determine the thickness of the overlay layer and the channel dimensions needed by the Waemital-Kawatu road section, West Seram Regency. The data used are primary data and secondary data then analyzed using the 2017 Road Pavement Design Manual Method for Additional Pavement Layers and the Rational Method for Drainage, then data processing is carried out referring to these regulations. Based on the results of this research, it was obtained that the CBR of class A aggregate foundation layer was 54%. So that with a design life of 20 years and a traffic value on the design lane of 801,068.59, the pavement layer thickness (overlay) with AC-WC = 40 mm, AC-BC layer thickness = 60 mm, class A aggregate layer thickness = 400 mm is obtained. . The results of the calculation of the drainage channel for a 5-year return period obtained a planned rainfall of 134,259 mm, with a population growth percentage of 1.1% per year so that the population of Waemital Village in 2026 is 7,443 people. From the results of the analysis of the drainage system, it was found that the planned discharge of the drainage channel on the Waemital-Kawatu Road Section was 0.0635 m3/sec, and the discharge of the drainage channel on the Waemital-Kawatu Road Section was 0.078197 m3/sec, then it was found that the discharge capacity of the channel was greater from the design discharge, so that the plan dimensions are declared safe.
