Abstract

Employee performance is influenced by several factors, including the role of leader and motivation. The decline in employee performance due to the role of leader of the unfavorable impact also on the decline in employee motivation in PT . Indo Putra Sejahtera . This study aims to identify and explain the effect of the role of leader on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable marketing part of PT . Indo Putra Sejahtera . This type of research used explanatory research. The proposed hypothesis that there is a positive and significant influence on the leadership role of employee performance through motivation. The technique of collecting data using interviews , questionnaires and observations . The population in this study are permanent employees of the marketing part of PT . Indo Putra Sejahtera of 40 people . The total sample of 40 respondents , using sensus sampling the determination samples when all members of the populasi used as a sample. Analysis of the data used is the linear regression analysis and significance test with SPSS for Windows. The conclusion from this study is there is significant influence role of leaders on employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable in PT . Indo Putra Sejahtera. Dari results of this study indicate that the variable role of leader on the motivation and the role of the leader is able to explain the motivation sebasar 38.1 % . Variable role of leader affect the performance of employees and the role of the leader is able to explain the performance of employees is 40.9%. Motivation variable influence on employee performance and motivation are able to explain the performance of employees amounted to 36.3 % . Together the role of leader and motivational variables affect the performance of employees so that the role of leader and motivation are able to explain the performance of employees amounted to 47.8 % . Then in the path analysis , there is the influence of mediation or motivation to work in the relationship intervening role of leader on employee performance . The conclusion is that if the leadership role enhanced the performance of employees would be better to increase employee motivation .

Abstract

Price can affect the service quality while the service is directly propotional then the consumer will experience satisfaction with the services provided, if there has arisen satisfaction then the consumer can be loyal to the company. In this logistic delivery service JNE Express pay attention to price and quality of services so that consumers can feel satisfaction after using JNE services with expectation to make loyal consumers with JNE Express.This study intend to determine the effect of price towards satisfaction, quality of services towards satisfaction, price and quality of services towards satisfaction, price towards loyalty, quality of services towards loyalty, price and quality of services towards loyalty, price towards loyalty through satisfaction, and quality of services towards loyalty through satisfaction. In this study the population are the consumers of JNE Semarang City by taking 100 samples. The type of this research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The analysis technique using correlation test, determination test, simple regression test, signification test, sobel test, mediation test using SPSS version 16 application.The result of this research indicate that the price has a significant effect towards satisfaction, quality of services has significant effect towards satisfaction, price and quality of services have effect towards satisfaction, satisfaction has effect towards loyalty, price has effect towards loyalty, quality of services has effect towards loyalty, price has effect towards loyalty through satisfaction partial mediation, quality of services has effect towards loyalty through satisfaction with partial mediation. Each hypothesis test has a significant 0.00.As a suggestion JNE Semarang should maintain the price and quality of services level so that consumers will be satisfied with the service, so that consumers will loyal with JNE Semarang services.

Abstract

The stock price is a form of public trust in the company’s performance. Stock price are influenced by two factors, that are the fundamental factor or factor related to the performance of a company and market factor (investors and potential investors trust), the factors that are determined from the external company. There are various sectors of open manufacture or manufaktur tbk listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). One of them is the multifarious industry sector which consists of 7 sub-sectors of open manufacturing companies or manufaktur tbk. The automotive and component sub-sectors consissts of 13 open manufacturing companies or manufaktur tbk. In the last three years the automotive and component sub-sectors have fluctuated in the ROA, ROE, EPS, DER, and stock price so that investors have difficulty determining the decision indicator to invest.This type of research is an explanatory research, with the population that can be studied in the automotive and component sub-sectors with a total of 11 companies. The type of data source that used is the secondary data obtained indirectly. The type of data used in this study are time series data and cross section data or often referred as panel data. Methods of data analysis used are classical assumption, correlation, determination, simple regression, multiple regression, and signification test by using SPSS application.This study concludes that ROA and EPS have an effect on stock price, which mean ROA and EPS have increase, then stock price partially increase. While ROE and DER have no effect on stock price. Testing simultaneously shows ROA, ROE, EPS, and DER have an effect on stock price. If ROA, ROE, EPS, and DER increase, then the stock price increases as well.Based on that matter, the authors suggest that automotive and component sub-sectors companies should pay attention to indicators on ROA, ROE, EPS, and DER so stock price will increase. So that the investors are interested to invest their asset in the company.

Abstract

The development of Indonesian people's lifestyle changes every year. Business sector is one of them, a business that grows rapidly and significantly causes the mindset of the people of Indonesia mengingnkan everything practical, including in the fulfillment of life needs. People are beginning to shift from traditional retail to cleaner and more comfortable modern retailers. One of the existing retail companies in Indonesia is Giant that offers a wide range of daily necessities products.This type of research is explanatory research, with a population of 100 respondents who have visited and made a purchase at Giant Semarang City. Sampling in this study using non-probability sampling. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires. The data analysis method used using Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GeSCA).Based on the results of GeSCA calculation analysis can be explained that the results of direct impact test on this research model showed the results of positive and significant influence. The result of indirect effect test on the model also shows the result of positive and significant influence. The effect of customer satisfaction as a mediator variable in the model is partial and perfect mediation.Based on that, the researcher suggested that Giant Semarang City to increase Price and Corporate Image by reviewing the standard of the mean value of each variable is still below the average value.

Abstract

Industrial development in Indonesia has grown so fast and rapid. One of the industry that growing rapidly is automotive industry, especially car. Many brands of car that available on the market, then there is increasingly intense effort from car company to capture large market share from other company. At this time segment of cars that are in demand are segment of cars hatchback, especially Honda Jazz car that being a leader on hatchback segment. However the sales of Honda Jazz at Honda Semarang Center in 2009-2013 are fluctuated. If it’s not addressed it will be a threat to it’s dominance on hatchback segment.The purpose of this research was to determine the influences of product quality, promotion, and after sales service on purchase decision of Honda Jazz Car at Honda Semarang Center, Semarang. This research method is explanatory on 88 respondents with purposive technique sampling. With data collection through interview, questioners, and literature review. The analysis technique used was quantitative. Quantitative analysis using cross tabulation, validity, reliability, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, as well as the significance test (t test and F test) and helped by application SPSS 16.0 for Windows.The result of statistic analysis known the influences of partially between product quality on purchase decision is 21,6 %, promotion on purchase decision is 17,7 %, and after sales service on purchase decision is 31,5 %, the influences of simultaneously between product quality, promotion, and after sales service on purchase decision are 35,0 % whereas 65,0 % affected by other factors.From that results can be concluded product quality, promotion, and after sales service influenced to purchase decision partially and simultaneously. Based on these conclusion so advice can be given for the Honda Semarang Center Company are to notice the product quality with innovation periodically, doing exciting promotions and increase promotion frequency, and providing training on employee to perform after sales service.
