Abstract

Human resources is one of factors has an important role in improving employee performance. The population of this study were 93employees as respondent. From the results of data analysis conclude that Culture Organization has significant effect on Employe Performance of 56.3 percent. Commitment affect empoye performance by 67 percent. . Culture Organization and Commitment simultaneously affecting Employe Performance by 69.2 percent. . Based on these results, the management of PT. Suara Merdeka Press Semarang needs to consider the application of Culture Organization by division supervisor. Continuous guidance and supervision needs to be done so that employees work better. e needs of employees and the opportunity to move forward should be supported and facilitated.

Abstract

Amount customers of PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch Office (BO) in its development has increased and decreased. Decrease the amount identified as a loss for the company, it is very closely related to customer satisfaction over the performance of PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch Office (BO) so the company needs to know the level of satisfaction and the level of corporate performance evaluation materials. Formulation of the problem in this research is how the level of client satisfaction for services on the dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and direct evidence. The conclusion of the study is on the performance expectations of customers have approached the company with a low value congruence between 69.2 percent to 91.88 percent. Overall the five dimensions of reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and direct evidence have the customer satisfaction level of 3.68, which means customers are satisfied with the performance of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) Semarang Timur Branch Office (BO).Atribut a prompt delivery service and proper regarding the issuance of a policy according to customer halpenting but less attention from the company.

Abstract

The need for human resources are not small and labor requirements vary with the complex challenges of the work is a problem for a company. PT. APAC INTI CORPORA engaged in textiles that need to maintain human resources work in order to meet the quantity and quality of the product. However, in 2013 the production and performance of any inconsistency unfavorable assessments on the performance of the employee.The purpose of research to determine the effect of work commitment, job stress, and work discipline on employee performance Spinning Part III PT. APAC INTI CORPORA. This research method is explanatory, data collection through interviews with questionnaires. Proportionate stratified random sampling technique is used with a sample of 87 people. The analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis using validity, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, cross tabulation, and tests of significance.Categorization work commitment is high, but there are some that in the low category. Employee stress is low, but there is still residing in the high category. Discipline employees in good condition, although there is still a lack of good condition. The level of employee performance is good, but there are still employees who have low performance. Results and discussion showed the higher commitment to work, the higher the performance of employees, reduced work stress, the higher the performance of employees, and the better labour discipline, the higher the performance of employees, simultaneously work commitment, work stress, and labour discipline affect employee performance.Companies must increase loyalty to employees, to put forward a conducive atmosphere in work activities, and socializing with good rules, provide counseling regarding the standards and efficiency of work, and the need for further research by the company or outside parties on other variables such motivation, job satisfaction, training work, which can affect employee performance improvement.

Abstract

HORISON HOTEL is one of company that moves in side of hospitality at Semarang. Some problems are captured lack of pieces overnight rates, maximal service and facilities at the hotel This purpose to determine influence of Room Rates, Service Quality, Customer Satisfication  to Customer Loyalty. Type of research used is explanatory with 100 sample respondents (purposive effect). Analysis of the data used is qualitative and quantitative, qualitative analysis tools such as categorization and quantitative analysis tools such as the coefficient of determination, t test, F test and path analysis.The results and discussion of room rates are very low (70%), quality of service is very good (61%), customer satisfaction is very high (78%) and very high customer loyalty (67%). There is a positive and significant influence between room rates for customer satisfaction (14.4%), a positive and significant influence between room rates on customer loyalty (20.6%), a positive and significant effect of service quality on customer satisfaction (13%), positive and significant impact of service quality on customer loyalty (81.1%) and there is a positive and significant impact of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty (12.8%).Conclusion There are significant effect between room rates and quality of service to customer satisfaction (18.5%) and a significant influence between the influence of room rates, service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction (81.2%). Advice can be given include: repair of all equipment in the room were not functioning as it should, repairing all kinds of facilities, to fully leverage with both the employees and officers, and the effort required to provide discounted hotel rates stay more especially on particular days.

Abstract

 The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of transformational leadership, corporate culture and compensation on the performance of the employees of PDAM Tirta Dharma Salatiga.This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study is the employees of PDAM Tirta Dharma Salatiga with the total of 138 employees which is sampled 58 employees. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and literature study. It uses Likert Scale for the measurement scale. For the method, it uses proportionate random sampling. For analyzing data, it uses simple linear regression and multiple linear regression to test the hypothesis using the t test and F test in SPSS 18.0.            The results show that the transformational leadership has a positive influence on employee performance. Corporate culture on employee performance affect positive. Compensation to employee performance have positive effect. Together variable transformational leadership, corporate culture and compensation have positive influence on employee performance.            The conclusion is that the transformational leadership, corporate culture, and compensation which are applied have been good and satisfactory. This research suggestions are the leaders should be more active in praising to the all subordinates every, employee should pay more respect of the co-workers opinions, and giving better and various compensation.

Abstract

Marketing product in business world have important role which connected to purchase decision. Purchasing decision can be triggered by store display which catch customers first impression. Therefore, create store atmosphere is needed for giving comfort to customers when they are in the store. All these aspects must be mutually support to achieve the purpose of Gramedia Pandanaran.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of store display and store atmosphere on purchase decision at Gramedia Pandanaran Semarang. This research method is explanatory, with the technique of collecting data through interviews with questionnaires, observation, and study of literature. Accidental sampling and purposive sampling technique was used with a sample of 100 people. The analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative by validity test, reliability test, simple and multiple regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination (R2), cross-tabulation, and significant test (t test and F test).Results and discussion showed that store display classified as good, but there are still classified as good enough. Store atmosphere classified as good, but there are still classified as bad. Purchasing decision classified as good, but there are still classified as bad. Store display have significant effect towards purchasing decision (16.4 percent). The better store display then the better purchasing decision. Store atmosphere have significant effect towards purchasing decision (16.4 percent). The better store atmosphere then the better purchasing decision.The research conclusion of store display and store atmosphere relatively good, even though have some weak points. Recommendation for management are maintain the neatness of display anytime. Arrange a good scent in the store. Increase innovation and variation product so that customer will make repeat purchases. Then, need for further research by the company or an outside party on the other independent variables such as the effect of live events, price, promotion, advertisement, store image, and store services.

Abstract

Every organization which is either serving the public interest as State-owned Corporation, government or private organization, want to get maximum achievement from their employee’s performance, result improvement and attain the goal of organization. From the performance’s appraisal there is still unfulfilled working standard so that is why the organization made company working plan. Referring to the decreasing of export import flow and unfulfilled working standard reflect to the influence of compensation and work environment toward employee’s performance.The aim of the study is to determine the effect of compensation and working environment toward employee's performance at Container Terminal of PT (Persero) PELABUHAN INDONESIA III Semarang.The type of the study is explanatory, which is the technique of collecting data throughquestionnaires. Sampling using Slovin formula by using purposive sampling techniques which taken from 93 people from Terminal Operation Division employees. Method of analysis used in this study is Quantitative Data Analysis.From the result of the study showed that compensation has significantly positive and powerful effect toward employee’s performance which also 36% for contribution given and the working environment has beneficial and strong effect toward employee’s performance which also 47.5% for contribution given.  From the result of the study the writer concludes that compensation and working environment have positive effect toward employee’s performance besides it has strong influence toward employee’s performance which is showed 0.724.

Abstract

Companies need to analyse the company's financial performance to determine the development of an enterprise through analysis of the company's financial statements that can be done using the method of measuring financial ratios. Assessment of financial performance shows the company generates a profit or not that assist investors in making investment decisions as a benchmark to determine the capital gain when the shares are sold. Investors as shareholders can use the stock return rate as a benchmark to see expectations of a stock at a certain time and prospects of the company in the next period and in the future. This study was conducted to examine the effect of variable Working Capital to Total Assets (WCTA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Assets Turnover (TAT) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on stock returns, either partially or simultaneously on transportation service sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2013.             This research is an explanatory research with a total sample of 15 companies x 3 years = 45 observation data out of a total population of 22 companies through the purposive sampling selection. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing using t test partial, F test simultaneously with the level of significance of 5% and a determination coefficient test.             The analysis showed the data have fulfilled classical assumptions, including data normally distributed, no symptoms of multikolinearitas, there are no symptoms of autocorrelation and heteroscedasticity. Working Capital to Total Assets (WCTA) are categorized illikuid, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) are categorized insolvable and Total Assets Turnover (TAT) of companies that are less efficient overall tend to pose a risk for the company. While Net Profit Margin (NPM) may be used by investors as a parameter to measure the performance of the company to predict stock returns. Regression results Net Profit Margin (NPM) is partially significant effect on stock returns. While the Working Capital to Total Assets (WCTA), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Total Assets Turnover (TAT) partially not significant effect on stock returns. Fourth variables used in this study (WCTA, DER, TAT and NPM) simultaneously affect the stock return of 13.2%. The variable that has the strongest influence is Net Profit Margin (NPM) with a regression coefficient of 0.349.                     The overall study results showed that the transport service sector companies listed on the Stock Exchange has less than the maximum financial performance which affects the rate of return to investors the stock return. Therefore, investors need to be cautious in making investments in company shares. We recommend that companies need to improve financial performance in the management of working capital, debt management, asset additions and the increased capacity of corporate profits, thereby increasing investor confidence as consideration of investment decision to invest in companies with the right.

Abstract

Credit sales have not all risks can be realized receivable into cash so that the company established a reserve for doubtful accounts receivable which aims to have a significant portion of total assets to reflect the liquidity and credit sales results are still in the form of accounts receivable to reflect profitability. PT. Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution Branch Semarang have in shaping policy reserves for doubtful accounts but these policies have not been able to reflect liquidity and profitability as reserves for doubtful accounts has a value greater than doubtful accounts. The purpose of the study was to determine the liquidity and profitability by implementing Markov Chain Analysis. he method used is descriptive analytical fact finding Markov Chain Analysis of the calculation results are considered to reflect the liquidity and profitability. The results of the study are reserve for doubtful accounts of 2.5% - 3.5%. determined through the analysis of a Markov chain has a value smaller than the percentage of reserves for doubtful accounts is determined by the company so that the percentage Liquidity Current Ratio and Quick Ratio increased by 2% - 4%, Profitability is in addition to the percentage of ROA and net profit margin also increased by 1% - 2%. Companies can apply Markov chain analysis as an alternative policy determination of reserves for doubtful accounts.

Abstract

Employee performance is affected by many factors, one of which is occupational health and occupational safety. This study aims to determine the condition of occupational health, occupational safety, employee performance and influence of occupational health and safety toward the employee performance of the Unit Train Crew 4th Operation Teritory Of Semarang Co.,Ltd, by taking 67 employees as respondents. Analysis techniques using validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t-test, and f-test supported by SPSS version 17 for Windows. Judging from the results of the calculation of the variable categorization table, occupational health, occupational safety, employee performance are in the good condition. From the calculation results of t-test, there is the influence of occupational health toward employee performance, and occupational safety toward employee's performance. From the calculation results of test-f, there is the influence of the occupational health and safety toward employee's performance. The company need to improve occupational health, especially by increase the availability of health insurance and health insurance benefits. Safety needs to be improved, especially by increase the availability of PPD and P3K complement and provide socialization and tighten controls on the use of PPD.
