Abstract

Along with the times, the competition of UKM is getting tougher so that requires every manufacturer to be able to increase the demand for its products. Batik is a cultural heritage that is born as an art work that continues to evolve along with the times and needs to be preserved. Pekalongan batik industry has good potential and continues to grow. However, during the year of 2009-2013 sales results in Wiradesa batik industry, Pekalongan fluctuated. If this is not resolved then feared Wiradesa batik industry cannot develop so it cannot compete with other batik industry.The purpose of this research is to recognize and explain the influence of product design, product quality, and price towards purchase decision of Kampung Batik Wiradesa, Pekalongan District. This research is explanatory research type approach uses towards towards 97 respondents with a sampling technique accidental sampling. Type of data collection of this study are using the technique of questionnaires, interviews, observation and literature methods.The analysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative. Quantitative analysis using cross-tables, test validity, reliability test, determination coefficient, correlation coefficient, a simple linear regression, multiple linear regression and test of significance (t-test and F-test) and also use the help application programs SPSS 20.0 for Windows.Results of statistical analysis known partial effect between product design towards purchase decision by 25,3%, product quality towards purchase decision by 33,8% and price towards purchase decision by 39,4%. The simultaneous influence of product design, product quality and price on purchase decision is 45,2% and 54,8% is affected by other factors.From these results it can be concluded that the product design, product quality, and price, has influence on purchase decisions either partially or simultaneously. Based on these conclusions, then owner of the UKM need to pay attention to the things about product design development to be more varied in style, color and model, improve the quality of the products offered, as well as give the price according to the quality of the product.

Abstract

Characteristics of the entrepreneurial is a very important, entrepreneurial characteristics were action, abilities and  otherspesific character that owned by someone who related to entrepreneurial activity. The purpose of this study were to know characteristics of the entrepreneurial business owners and how characteristics of the entrepreneurship role as a business growth factor in MSMEs Martabak Setia Budi Semarang. In this research using qualitative descriptive type.The technique of taking resources is purposive sampling; techniques of data collection is done by conducting interviews, observation, and documentation; data analysis techniques usingcredibility test data by triangulation, transferability test, and confirmability test.The results of this study showed that in the MSMEs Martabak Setia Budi, entrepreneurial characteristics of business owners is a determining factor in the business growth, which is seen from five aspects such as leadership, task orientation and results, confidence, risk-taking and future orientation that have been already good, Advice for MSMEs Martabak Setia Budi which must keep product quality, make innovation so the consumers are not bored and adding the number of employees at each branch.

Abstract

Labor productivity is an important thing that must be considered and often used to measure the extent to which workers can reach the target set company .Labor productivity can be influenced by several factors among them are the dual role , flexibility of working hours , and wages . PT .Holi Karya Sakti Semarang is the company garment that develops with the production and export gloves golf and sky .The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the dual role , flexibility of working hours , and wages against labor productivity on PT. Holi Holi Karya Sakti Semarang. This research using a quantitative approach .Sample 100 laborers a number of women who are married and have a child using random sampling technique. Data collection use instruments the questionnaire.Analysis research on the SPSS 20.0 version. The result showed that the dual role influences work productivity with t count 1,742 > t table 1,661. Flexibility working hours influences work productivity with t count 1,705 > t table 1,661.Wages influences work productivity with t count 2,452 > t table 1,661. Simultaneously the dual role, flexibility working hours, and wages influences work productivity with an f count 3,549 & gt; f table 2,14 with the significance 0,000 > 0,010.Advice for companies to support the dual role by workers women, increase the flexibility working hours and increase their salaries considered less appropriate.Third the variables have some indicator less than optimal so as to can increase productivity work can be be done by improving the dual role, flexibility working hours and wages

Abstract

Each company will always try to improve employee productivity in order to survive, thrive and have a high confidence of parties outside the company. PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution of Central Java and Yogyakarta is one of the state-owned enterprises engaged handles electrical problems Countries. Productivity of research there is still a standard of work that is not being met thus affecting the workload will affect the employee's performance. Specifically culture within the company will be determined by the teamwork, leadership, organizational characteristics, and the applicable administrative process. So with the good influence of corporate culture and leadership quality and strong motivation, it is expected to create a better work productivity.The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of corporate culture, leadership and motivation on employee productivity PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution of Central Java and Yogyakarta.This study uses a type of explanatory research study of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) and Yogyakarta Central DistribusiJawa sampling technique used was simple random sampling technique. This technique is done randomly, with 100 people from HRM employees. The method of analysis used in this study is the analysis of quantitative data.Results reveal that the significant positive and strong cultural influence on the productivity of which is indicated by the regression coefficient of 0.253 and a correlation coefficient of 0.717 and accounted for 51.4 % . Besides significantly positive leadership and a strong influence on the productivity of which is indicated by the regression coefficient of 0.289 and a correlation coefficient of 0.766 and accounted for 58.7 % . It also significantly stronger motivation and a positive effect on the productivity of which is indicated by the value of the regression coefficient of 0.384 and a correlation coefficient of 0.727 and accounted for 52.8 % . While together culture , leadership and motivation positive effect on productivity shown by multiple linear regression of 0.096 for culture , 0.144 to 0.149 for the leadership and motivation , in addition to the strong influence on the productivity of which is indicated by the correlation coefficient of 0.831 , as well as provide a contribution of 69 % .The conclusion of this study is that there is the influence of corporate culture, leadership, and motivation on employee productivity PT. PLN (Persero) Distribution of Central Java and Yogyakarta. Advice, corporate culture in general has been good and in accordance with the existing leadership in the company, but it should be noted again about the need for recognition and praise employees as well as the attention of the leadership so that employees will be more motivated to work.

Abstract

The existence and success of an organization in achieving its objectives , can not be separated from the human resource factor . Human resources has a very important role in a variety of sectors , because the human resource is the key factor to mobilize other resources that exist in the company Once the importance of the role of human resources resulted in an organization should allocate some substantial funds for the improvement of human resources . To realize the desired goal , then one of them is to improve the performance of human resources in an optimal             This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational commitment to employee performance on the job satisfaction with mediation PT . BPR Setia Abadi Carib Semarang . The population in this study were all employees of the BPR Setia Abadi Carib Semarang totaling 73 people , so this is a research study census . The analytical tool used in this study is a simple regression , multiple linear regression and path analysis .             Based on the results of the analysis show the organizational culture , organizational commitment and job satisfaction has an influence on employee performance . Judging from the calculation of the coefficient of determination indicates that organizational culture , organizational commitment , job satisfaction variables were able to explain 78.8 % of the employee 's performance . where the coefficient of determination organizational culture has an influence of 70.1 % . 40.9 % of organizational commitment , and job satisfaction was 66.4 % , against the performance of employees . This shows that organizational culture has a greater impact and has a strong degree of closeness of relationship to the performance of employees . Based on the results of the data analysis we can conclude the influence of organizational culture , organizational commitment to employee performance on the job satisfaction with mediation PT BPR Setia Abadi Karib Semarang .              Advice can be given in this study is to enhance and improve the commitment and job satisfaction can be done by giving priority attention to the work , provide rewards to employees in the form of direct flattery of superiors sehinngga employees will be proud of the job that can spur employees to work more optimal .

Abstract

rapidly is the food industry currently the culinary business in indonesia has rapidly increased. Inaddition, indonesia has a variety of food and traditional cuisine that must be developed and preserved.Getuk Eco as one of the food gifts manufacturer in Magelang City, is a trusted brand, but more numbersof food gifts producers in the City of Magelang causing Getuk Eco decreased their sales in 2014.The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of product quality, brand image andword of mouth towards purchasing decisions on Getuk Eco store Magelang. The type of research isexplanatory research. The population in this research is the consument of a Getuk Eco store with thenumber of samples taken was 100 respondents. Sampling using non probability sampling technique.Measurement scale using Likert scale. The analytical method used is the correlation test, determination,simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t-test and F-test using SPSS program version 18.Based on the results of the research, revealed that the partially, product quality, brand imageand word of mouth has positive effect on the purchasing decision which is indicated by result of thevalue of t test bigger than t table. Significantly, variable product quality, brand image and word ofmouth has positive effect towards purchasing decision indicated by value of F test larger than F table.And the advice that can be given is product quality improvement, especially on packaging ofGetuk Eco’s product and aesthetics improvements. Besides, Getuk Eco also need to improve thecompany’s image as the best food gifts producer in Magelang City to support the consumer confidence.

Abstract

Every company needs the resources that have important influence to achieve success. Success in achieving the organization's goals came from the behavior of its own employees therefore the employees that make up the structure of the organization and take advantage of technology. Performance of the employee is influenced by several factors such as compensation, motivation and Working discipline. Poor performance of the employee caused by low compensation, lack of motivation and a poor working discipline at Telkom Corporate University.This study aims to identify and explain the influence of compensation, motivation and Working discipline on the performance of the employee of Telkom Corporate University. This research uses explanatory type approach, against 69 respondents with sampling purposive technique. Data collection techniques in this study using the technique of collecting data through questionnaires and interviews. The analysis technique used is quantitative. Quantitative analysis using validity test, reliability test, cross tabulation, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, as well as the significance test (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS version 16.0 for Windows.The results of statistical analysis known partial influence between compensation on performance of the employee by 27.4%. Then motivation to performance of the employee by 17.8%. while for the working discipline on the performance of the employee by 35%. Simultaneous influence of the influence of compensation, motivation and Working discipline on the performance of the employee is 34.2%, while 65.8% are influenced by other factors.Recommendations for improving the performance of employees to the company to increase its attention to the work compensation, motivation and Working discipline which in turn will ultimately increase performance of the employee.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to determine the influence of Entrepreneurship Knowledge, Social Competence and Business Environment to Business Growth at Restaurant in Tembalang District, Semarang. This research type is explanatory research. Sampling technique is using non probability sampling with 90 samples of business owners. Technique of data collection with questioner and documentation. Data analysis technique used validity test, reliability test, correlation coefficient test, simple linear regression test, coeficient of determination (R2), partial significance test (t test) and simultant significance test (f test) using SPSS 16.0 for windows. Based on the results of the analysis, partially and simultantly entrepreneur knowledge, social competence and business environment have an influence on business growth. Suggestions for restaurant business owners in Tembalang District is to increase the knowledge related to business management especially on their human resources so their business can grow better.

Abstract

Employee performance is affected by several factors, among which is the appropriate compensation, high work discipline and motivation to work well. This research aims to know and explain the effect of compensation, work discipline and motivation of work on performance of employees part production PT Sai Apparel Industries. This research type is eksplanatory research. Using data collection techniques interviews, questionnaires and observation. The conclusion from this study is that there are influences between compensation, work discipline and motivation of work on performance of employees. Based on these conclusions, then companies need to pay attention to matters concerning the guarantee of the maintenance of health, level of attendance in work, level of compliance and the level of recognition of conformity of work with a defined procedure. So it is expected to improve the performance of employees.

Abstract

The business sector that is being highlighted by its development is Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). It is a cooperative institution as a micro finance institution that actively participates in the effort to enhance the quality of community life, one of which is implemented by helping UMKM from capital or financing side. Sharia Financial Services Cooperative (KJKS) or the term commonly called Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) is a cooperative whose business activities are engaged in financing, investment, and savings in accordance with the pattern of profit sharing (syariah) based on the principle of kinship.This type of research is case study with data collection method by designating key informant from BMT. The Object in this study BMT Syariah Ar Rahmah by measuring its performance with balanced scorecard method consisting of 4 perspectives namely, financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business perspective and learning and growth perspective.Based on the results of the research shows that the customer perspective has the lowest score compared to 3 other perspectives. This shows the gap between the realization with the target that has been declared. Based on this study concluded that the performance of BMT with balanced scorecard get score 123.86 including having a healthy performance because it exceeds the upper limit of score classification.However, there is a gap in the perspective of customer perspective scores with other perspectives with a score of only 6.61 which includes a very not healthy, researchers recommend BMT to pay attention to more factors member that is collecting a lot of members each year and retain existing members
