The method used goes through several stages such as providing digital marketing training, providing assistance, and conducting evaluations. The results obtained from the activities that have been carried out are that UMKM actors realize how important digital marketing is, especially on the Instagram platform and Pempek D&G have been able to optimize Instagram as a promotional medium independently.

Abstract

Coffee is one of Indonesia's main plantation commodities with high export value. As the world's leading coffee producer, Indonesia actively exports coffee as part of its national economic strategy. This study aims to analyze the competitiveness and performance of Indonesian coffee exports in the United States market by comparing them with competing countries, namely Brazil, Canada, Italy, and Ethiopia. The methods used in this study are Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Constant Market Share (CMS). The data analyzed includes global export growth, coffee export value, and total commodity export value from Indonesia and competitor countries during the 2011-2022 period. The results of the study show that although Indonesian coffee has a comparative advantage over Canada and Italy, its competitiveness is still lower than that of Brazil and Ethiopia. In addition, the performance of Indonesian coffee exports to the United States is still relatively weak, with average growth that is below the average world export growth.

Abstract

Community Service Learning (KKN) is a community service program conducted by students of Universitas PGRI Wiranegara. This service activity was carried out in Lajuk Village, Gondang Wetan District, Pasuruan Regency. This study employed a Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) approach to involve the community in every stage of the program. The research results showed that the KKN program has successfully improved access to information, environmental awareness, quality of education, and strengthened social and religious bonds in Lajuk Village. Active community participation in every program activity indicates the success of the participatory approach implemented. Overall, this KKN has proven that students can be effective agents of change in village development. Collaboration between students, the community, and the village government is the key to the success of this program. The implementation of this KKN provides important recommendations for the organization of future KKN, namely the importance of involving the community from the early planning stages, selecting work programs that are relevant to the needs of the community, and ensuring the sustainability of programs after the KKN is completed.

Abstract

The success of a country and the welfare of its population can be assessed through economic growth as the main indicator, for developing countries, equitable and stable economic growth is a priority for the transition to a developed country even though each country has different natural, economic, social, and cultural conditions, so that stability and sustainability of economic growth are needed to encourage sustainable development with one of its efforts through convergence economics. This study analyzes the convergence between ASEAN upper middle-income countries in 2013-2023 and variables that can accelerate the convergence of economic growth. The variables used include Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), trade openness, and corruption, which are suspected to affect economic growth. The approach used is a quantitative method with secondary data from the World Bank and Transparency International. The analysis methods used are sigma convergence, absolute beta convergence, and conditional beta convergence. The calculation of sigma convergence used the value of the coefficient of variation of GDP per capita, while the absolute beta and conditional beta convergence were analyzed using panel data regression with a selected fixed effect model. The results of the study show that there is a convergence of sigma, absolute beta and conditional beta convergence between ASEAN upper middle-income countries. It is known that the FDI variable has a positive and significant effect, while trade openness has a negative and insignificant effect, and corruption has a positive but insignificant effect on economic growth

Abstract

This article discusses a strategic approach to improving taxpayer compliance among restaurant owners in Surabaya through a method known as “shadowing.” The peddling approach involves direct supervision and education, where tax officials engage with business operators to increase their understanding of tax obligations and improve their accounting systems. The results show a significant increase in transparency and accountability in tax reporting, leading to a reduction in tax evasion. Despite the successes, challenges remain, particularly regarding resistance from some business owners and a lack of understanding of tax responsibilities. Continued efforts from the government are essential to provide better education and create an enabling environment for tax compliance. This study concludes that a collaborative ecosystem between government and businesses can foster a fair, transparent, and sustainable tax environment, ultimately contributing to regional development and community welfare.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of tobacco production and domestic consumption on Indonesia’s tobacco export volume, with the excise tariff as a moderating variable. Using annual data from 2008 to 2023, the research applies multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Results indicate that production positively and significantly affects exports, while consumption has a significant negative effect. However, the tobacco excise tariff does not significantly moderate these relationships. These findings highlight that production and consumption directly influence export performance, whereas the current excise policy is ineffective as a moderating tool. The study offers important insights for improving tobacco trade policy and boosting the competitiveness of Indonesia’s tobacco industry in international markets.

Abstract

Rice imports are a strategic issue in national food security, especially when domestic production is unable to meet domestic demand. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the volume of rice imports in Indonesia in the period 1999–2023. The independent variables used in this study include domestic rice production, domestic rice consumption, domestic rice prices, and international rice prices. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is rice imports. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with annual secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Ministry of Agriculture, and the FAO. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 25. The results of the analysis show that the variables of international rice prices and domestic rice prices have a positive and significant effect on rice imports. Meanwhile, the variables of domestic rice production and consumption do not have a significant effect, but have a negative relationship to import volume. This indicates that Indonesia's dependence on the global market is still high in meeting its rice needs. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 41.6% indicates that variations in rice imports can be explained by the five independent variables. This research provides input for the government to strengthen food security by increasing domestic production and monitoring fluctuations in global rice prices.
