Abstract

In this article the author tries to describe Islamic humanism education/humanist education. This conception is an offer against the restlessness and anxiety of Human in the conception of Western education as well as the actual offer of Islam and scholars for education, people, and the world. The conception of Humanist Education is based on the study of Islamic epistemology, namely "revelation". "Revelation" occupies a position as one of the constructors of reality because revelation is recognized as "God's verses" those are able to provide guidance in one's thoughts and actions. Social change is an integral part of the conception of Islamic humanist education. The order of human life that is upheld is the creation of justice and equality (egalitarian). Education is actually a struggle to realize that life and order. The order expected by humans in the world today is world peace.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the strategic management of the school principal in building a religious culture at SDN 3 Lenek. The background is the importance of strengthening religious values in the educational environment, especially at the primary level, to foster strong character in students. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a single case study. Data collection techniques are conducted through participatory observation, interviews with the principal, teachers, and parents of students, as well as document analysis. Data are analyzed inductively through the process of reduction, display, and verification. The results show that the school principal employs various management strategies, including establishing the school's vision and mission, actively involving stakeholders, developing religious programs, and implementing religious values in daily activities. This creates a learning environment that promotes religious values and strengthens the school's identity. The implications of this research underscore the importance of the principal's role in shaping a religious culture in primary schools, as well as the need for support from all relevant parties.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya kasus kemerosotan moral atau karakter peserta didik, sehingga peneliti merasa penting untuk menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter berbasis sekolah perjumpaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses, dan nilai karakter yang terkandung dari internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter berbasis sekolah perjumpaan di SMAN 1 Gunung Sari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskritif dengan jenis kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis sekolah perjumpaan telah dianggap sebagai strategi yang efektif dalam memperkuat internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendekatan berbasis sekolah perjumpaan sebagai sarana untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

The results of this study aim to explain efforts to strengthenteacher competence through the use of simple and modern media. Learningmedia have a strategic role in making it easier for teachers to deliver learningmaterial. To be able to use the media, curiosity, innovative and creativesouls are needed. In the learning process, teachers can use both simple andexpensive learning media. Teachers can make media from used goods orcan also use computer-based media through PowerPoint programs. Thisresearch was conducted at the Daaruttayyibin Islamic Boarding School withthe Participatory Action Research (PAR) model which was carried out with5 stages of activities namely; (1) orientation, socialization and FGD; (2)training in making media from used goods; (3) Training in making mediafrom powerpoint media; (4) assistance; and (5) monitoring evaluation. Theresults showed that the training made learning media from used goods andpower points had a significant impact on knowledge and experience andimproved teacher skills in designing instructional media. Hasil penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan upaya penguatankompetensi guru melalui pemanfaatan media sederhana dan modern.Media pembelajaran memiliki peran strategis dalam mempermudahguru menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Untuk dapat memanfaatkanmedia, dibutuhkan rasa ingin tahu, jiwa inovatif dan kreatif. Dalam prosespembelajaran, guru bisa menggunakan media pembelajaran baik yangsederhana maupun yang mahal. Guru dapat membuat media dari barangbekas atau bisa juga dengan pemanfaatan media berbasis computer melaluiprogram powerpoint. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Ponpes Daaruttayyibindengan model Partisipatory Action Research (PAR) yang dilakukan dengan5 tahapan kegiatan yaitu; (1) orientasi, sosialisasidan FGD; (2) pelatihanpembuatan media dari barang bekas; (3) Pelatihan pembuatan media darimedia powerpoint; (4) pendampingan; dan (5) monitoring evaluasi. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan membuat media pembelajarandari barang bekas dan power point memberikan dampak signifikan terhadappengetahuan dan pengalaman serta meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalammendesain media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Educational Quality Management (EQM) represents a vital and systematic endeavor to achieve institutional excellence and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. This article undertakes a focused examination of the EQM concept from both general and Islamic perspectives, aiming to analyze and compare their fundamental definitions, targets, and core principles. The study employs a literature review method, relying entirely on the analysis of texts and documents, including academic books, Islamic educational management literature, government regulations, and secondary empirical data such as PISA survey results. The analysis was conducted using qualitative content analysis and thematic integration to construct a comprehensive understanding. The findings show that general EQM focuses on effectiveness, efficiency, stakeholder involvement, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making. The Islamic perspective enriches this by integrating spiritual values like faith (iman), sincerity (ikhlas), diligence (itqan), excellence (ihsan), and accountability. Consequently, educational quality is measured holistically, encompassing both academic achievement and the successful cultivation of noble character and social well-being. The integration of these modern principles with Islamic values is presented as a strategic foundation for strengthening education quality in Indonesia, particularly in addressing persistent challenges like low scores in literacy, numeracy, and creative thinking skills among students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Pimpinan Pondok Pesantren (Tuan Guru) dalam memenej atau mengelola serta menampung aspirasi semua kalangan dalam pembelajaran di era new normal dan faktor pendukungnya. Penelitian dilakukan di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Haramain Narmada Lombok Barat.  Peneliti merancang penelitian ini dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis deskriptif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Pimpinan (Tuan Guru), Guru, Santri, Wali santri dan masyarakat yang terlibat di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Haramain. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya data di analisis berdasarkan hasil dari proses pengumpulan data dan dicek keabsahannya menggunakan metode triangulasi. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran Tuan Guru menentukan kesuksesan proses pembelajaran new normal dan faktor pendukungnya. Pendukung kesuksesan pembelajaran di era new normal adalah pertama infrastruktur dan sumber daya guru. Kedua dukungan masyarakat, wali santri, santri dan pemerintah. Ketiga dukungan ekonomi atau ketahanan ekonomi pesantren. Dukungan ini akan berjalan apabila Tuan Guru mengelola dan memberikan arahan kepada semua kalangan bahwa kesuksesan pembelajaran new normal ini merupakan tanggung jawab bersama.

Abstract

Educators are a very essential part of educational institutions. MI TGH. Muhammad Shadruddin NW Suralaga faces a shortage of specially qualified educators in implementing education that can support the quality of education. The need to improve the quality of education is carried out by the recruitment process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the recruitment and selection process of educators and assess the quality of education in MI TGH. Muhammad Shadruddin NW Suralaga . The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with principals and educators, direct observation, and analysis of related documents. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that the recruitment of educators was carried out personally without open publication, with the final decision in the hands of the Al Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School Education Foundation NW Suralaga. The selection focuses more on administrative aspects and loyalty to the Nahdlatul Wathan organization, without going through direct tests. Despite the challenge of a shortage of PGSD or PGMI qualified educators, the school is directing teachers to improve their educational qualifications. The quality of education at MI TGH. Muhammad Shadruddin NW Suralaga is demonstrated through B level accreditation, active participation of students in extracurricular activities, and character cultivation through religious activities. Student achievement in academic and non-academic competitions as well as teacher dedication in creating a conducive learning environment contribute to improving the quality of education

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan fondasi strategis dalam membangun peradaban bangsa. Melalui pendidikan yang bermutu, tujuan nasional sebagaimana tercantum dalam Pembukaan Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Republik Indonesia dapat diwujudkan.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep dan implementasi standar mutu pendidikan, khususnya dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan menelaah berbagai literatur, peraturan pemerintah, serta hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mutu pendidikan mencakup empat komponen utama, yaitu input, proses, output, dan outcome. Standar mutu pendidikan Islam mengacu pada delapan komponen Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP), meliputi standar kompetensi lulusan, isi, proses, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, sarana prasarana, pengelolaan, pembiayaan, serta penilaian. Faktor penentu mutu pendidikan meliputi kecukupan sumber daya, efektivitas proses pembelajaran, dan kualitas keluaran pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan mutu pendidikan Islam membutuhkan sistem penjaminan mutu yang berkelanjutan, kepemimpinan yang visioner, serta keterlibatan seluruh pemangku kepentingan pendidikan. Dengan demikian, pendidikan Islam dapat menjadi model pendidikan yang tidak hanya unggul secara akademik, tetapi juga berkarakter religius dan berdaya saing global.
