Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya kasus kemerosotan moral atau karakter peserta didik, sehingga peneliti merasa penting untuk menanamkan nilai pendidikan karakter berbasis sekolah perjumpaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses, dan nilai karakter yang terkandung dari internalisasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter berbasis sekolah perjumpaan di SMAN 1 Gunung Sari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskritif dengan jenis kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis sekolah perjumpaan telah dianggap sebagai strategi yang efektif dalam memperkuat internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendekatan berbasis sekolah perjumpaan sebagai sarana untuk memperkuat pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengungkap tentang kajian pendidikan karakter melalui dakwah: kajian komunikasi dakwah dalam pencegahan kasus eksploitasi seks komersial anak di kawasan wisata Sengigi.. Dengan pendekatan Kajian Kualitatif fenomenologi. Pertanyaan penelitian yang ingin dijawab adalah:(1) Bagaimana wajah kasus eksploitasi seks komersial anak pada sektor pariwisata Sengigi? (2) Bagaimana pendidikan karakter melalui dakwah: kajian komunikasi dakwah dalam pencegahan kasus eksploitasi seks komersial anak di kawasan wisata Sengigi? Tulisan ini diharapkan menjadi formulasi baru untuk mengetahui wajah kasus eksploitasi seks komersial anak di Pulau Lombok, serta diharapkan peran tokoh agama dapat mencegah kasus eksploitasi seks komersial anak di Pulau Lombok. Penegakan dakwah dan komunikasi oleh tokoh agama menjadi formulasi utama dalam mencegah kasus eksploitasi seks komersial anak di Pulau Lombok. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan beberapa faktor penyebab terjadinya eksploitasi seks komersial anak di Pulau Lombok, dan strategi tokoh agama dalam mencegah kasus eksploitasi seks komersial di pulau Lombok menunjukkan hasil yang cukup baik.

Abstract

Digitalisi menjadi senjajata positif dalam mengembangkan literasi berfikir di era ini. Literasi berpikir kritis sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi informasi yang kompleks dalam masyarakat yang terus berubah. Untuk mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi dinamika masyarakat modern, pendidikan di abad ke-21 menuntut inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran. Studi tentang meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan literasi disajikan dalam artikel ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat pengaruh integrasi tekhnologi terhadap keterampilan literasi berfikir krititis, dan melihat evaluasi dan partisipasi integrasi tekhnologi siswa sekolah menengah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi pendidikan. Metode eksperimen semu atau quasi-experiment adalah metode penelitian yang mirip dengan eksperimen sejati tetapi tidak memiliki pengacakan penuh. Pengacakan dalam eksperimen sejati memungkinkan peneliti untuk secara acak menugaskan subjek ke dalam kelompok eksperimen atau kontrol, sementara dalam eksperimen semu, penugasan ini tidak acak sepenuhnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol, siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran yang menggunakan teknologi pendidikan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan literasi berpikir kritis. Kemampuan untuk menganalisis, menilai, dan menyusun data telah meningkat secara signifikan. Selain itu, respons siswa terhadap penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran literasi berpikir kritis juga positif; mereka menunjukkan kecenderungan untuk lebih terlibat dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Mereka juga menunjukkan tingkat keterlibatan yang lebih tinggi dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan Integrasi teknologi pendidikan menunjukkan potensi besar untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah menengah. Sekolah dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan teknologi untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang merangsang dan mendukung perkembangan keterampilan literasi berpikir kritis. Ini akan membantu mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan kompleks masyarakat modern dengan mempertimbangkan tantangan dan hambatan yang ada. Berdasarkan temuan ini, meningkatkan keterampilan literasi berpikir kritis siswa sekolah menengah dapat dicapai melalui penerapan teknologi pendidikan. Hasil ini berfungsi sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan kebijakan dan pendekatan pembelajaran di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Waste management, especially plastic waste, poses a significant challenge in addressing the climate crisis in coastal areas. This study aims to apply a participatory approach that integrates the principles of social communication and the community-based behavior change theory (Community-Based Social Marketing, CBSM) in the sedekah sampah (waste charity) campaign in Sekotong Barat Village, specifically in Dusun Medang and the Cemara Beach area. The method used is social communication to raise community awareness about the importance of waste management, followed by an invitation for active participation in the sedekah sampah movement, which involves valuable waste. The campaign is driven by the CBSM model, which has proven effective in changing community behavior toward environmental issues. This model engages the community directly in planning and implementing waste reduction programs. The results of this community service indicate an increase in participation, and plastic waste, which was previously considered trash, is now viewed as a valuable resource for social purposes. This approach also successfully transformed community behavior in waste management in the coastal area, creating awareness and tangible actions in reducing plastic waste.

Abstract

Natural disasters and the impacts of climate change threaten the sustainability of the education sector worldwide, including in Indonesia. This study aims to integrate the innovation diffusion communication theory into SPAB (Safe School Program) training to enhance disaster preparedness in educational institutions at national and international levels. Training materials rooted in local wisdom, such as disaster preparedness calendars and emergency kits, were employed to support the application of innovation diffusion theory which encompassing five stages: knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation, and confirmation. The findings reveal that the innovation diffusion-based approach effectively fosters the adoption of disaster mitigation measures across various educational institutions. However, challenges such as cultural differences, limited resources, and inter-institutional coordination must be addressed through collaborative and adaptive strategies. This study recommends strengthening local wisdom-based materials, improving cross-sector coordination, and conducting continuous program evaluations to ensure the success of SPAB training.

Abstract

Stunting is a global health issue that affects children’s quality of life, and its prevalence remains high in Indonesia, including in West Lombok Regency. This study aims to analyze the messages delivered through the integration of health promotion and epidemiology communication via mosque speakers in Karang Bongkot Village, as well as the role of mosque caretakers in supporting stunting prevention efforts. A qualitative case study approach was employed, with interviews conducted with mosque caretakers, pregnant and breastfeeding women, healthcare workers, and religious leaders. The findings revealed that the messages conveyed included the importance of balanced nutrition, exclusive breastfeeding, and routine health checkups. The mosque caretaker plays a crucial role in delivering information to the community, supported by healthcare workers and religious leaders who provide legitimacy to the messages. Community-based communication strategies through mosques are effective in raising awareness about stunting prevention. This study concludes that integrating health promotion communication through mosques can be an effective solution in addressing stunting in the community.

Abstract

This paper examines the phenomenon of sexual harassment cloaked in religious legitimacy through an analysis of the film Walid (2025), a cinematic work that critiques the abuse of religious authority. The background of cases of sexual violence in Lombok, especially in Islamic boarding schools and educational institutions, shows the existence of unequal power relations and a culture of silence that worsens the situation of victims. Walid’s film depicts charismatic religious leaders who manipulate sacred teachings to establish absolute power and commit symbolic and sexual violence. The main objectives of this study are to: (a) identify the forms of sexual harassment that are justified in the name of religion, (b) analyze the representation of religious power in films as social criticism, and (c) provide social reflections to encourage the reform of the protection system in the religious environment. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, analyzing the theories of Power and Symbolic Relations (Michel Foucault), Symbolic Violence (Pierre Bourdieu), and Feminist Critical Theology. The findings of the study show that Walid is not only a fictional representation, but also a reflective means that expose the oppressive power structures in religious institutions, as well as invite the public to build critical awareness, fight for justice for victims, and reject all forms of violence that take refuge behind religious symbols.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the revitalization of the Memace tradition as an instrument for preserving the ancient manuscript Lontar Rengganis as well as an educational medium for preventing child marriage in Lombok. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, this research explores the meaning and subjective experiences of the community regarding the Memace practice, particularly within the socio-cultural context of the Sasak people. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and cultural documentation. The findings reveal that Memace is a form of oral cultural transmission rich in moral, spiritual, and educational values. The narratives in Lontar Rengganis implicitly reject child marriage by emphasizing the importance of education and female empowerment. The revitalization of Memace not only contributes to the physical and cultural preservation of the manuscript but also strengthens collective awareness around child protection issues. This tradition has proven to be an effective medium of cultural communication and can be developed as a model of community-based archival preservation (preservation through use) and a culturally rooted instrument for social advocacy.
