Abstract

Qibla is the compulsory direction for a Muslim to face when praying. However, due to the distance and different places, it often raises the issues of Qibla direction, among which is the issue of accuracy of Qiblah direction actually facing Baitullah al-Haram, including the direction of Qibla mosque in the city of Mataram. With the help of science and technology, particularly science of Falak, the Kaaba as the Qiblah direction can be detected accurately by using careful calculation and measurement which fits well with the principles of science of Falak. Based on the descriptive-analytical study, the qualitative design, it was found out that almost 90% of mosques taken as the sample shows that the direction of mosques in Mataram is in the direction of the Qibla, althought some are not accurate, it still within acceptable limits, i.e. below five degrees difference. Yet remeasurement is still necessary to increase the accuracy and reliabilility, according to the method of measurement and calculation of the direction of the Qibla in Science of Falak.

Abstract

Keadaan lingkungan saat ini, terutama di Lombok, memerlukan perhatian serius dan tindakan cepat untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tentang peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan yang menjadi bagian dari salah satu upaya guna mengatasi masalah tersebut. Pondok Pesantren Selaparang sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam di Lombok yang menerapkan strategi peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif bersifat deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Karakter peduli lingkungan yang tampak dalam tradisi pendidikan karakter di pondok pesantren Selaparang antara lain tercermin dalam penggunaan nama tumbuhan sebagai nama asrama dan pemanfaatan perayaan hari-hari besar Islam sebagai sarana peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan; 2) Strategi-strategi peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan di pondok pesantren Selaparang dilakukan antara lain; melalui pembelajaran dengan penerapan model-model pendidikan karakter, program-program peduli lingkungan, dan penyediaan sarana/prasarana kebersihan lingkungan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher’s professionalism on student’s interest in Arabic learning of class X MAN 1 Mataram for academic year 2020/2021. The population in this study were students of class X MAN 1 Mataram and the researcher took 45 students from the population to be used as samples in this study. The research approach used is quantitative research because the desired data is in the form of numbers. The researcher used three research instruments for collecting data namely questionnaires, documentation and observation. The data analysis used Pearson product moment correlation and simple regression with the help of SPSS 16.0 software. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, there was a positive and significant relationship with a correlation level of R=67% indicating a strong relationship between the two variables. And as for the results of the regression analysis, the researcher got the value of F arithmetic > F table 37.140> 4.06 with a significance level of 0.00 <0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an effect of teacher professionalism (X) on students' interest in learning Arabic (Y), with the contribution of the effect of teacher’s professionalism (X) on students' interest in learning (Y) is R Square = 45.8%. Therefore, the hypothesis which says "teacher’s professionalism effect on student’s interest in Arabic learning of class X MAN 1 Mataram for academic year 2020/2021 " is accepted

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kemampuan guru-guru di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Muslimin Kayangan dalam menerapkan pembelajaran High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Pengabdian ini dilakukan karena para guru menghadapi banyak kendala saat menerapkan HOTS. Kurangnya kesadaran akan HOTS dan praktiknya berkontribusi pada rendahnya prestasi siswa. Kegiatan ini menggunakan lokakarya untuk menciptakan HOTS dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran baru seperti Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) dan Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Kontekstual. Pemikiran tingkat tinggi telah didorong oleh klasifikasi hasil belajar dalam pelatihan. Pelatihan ini meningkatkan motivasi siswa, meningkatkan pemahaman ide, dan mendorong tugas-tugas berpikir tingkat tinggi. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menekankan perlunya HOTS dalam pembelajaran untuk mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi masalah di dunia nyata. Studi ini juga menyarankan penggunaan teknik pembelajaran unik lainnya untuk mendorong keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Di sekolah-sekolah Islam, dukungan guru dan lingkungan belajar yang lebih besar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa.

Abstract

Marriage life will always experience changes and ups and downs. Reviewing early marriage from the perspective of Islamic family psychology provides important insights into the dynamics which occur. It helps identify challenges and opportunities to improve the welfare and success of marriage. The objectives of this research were to understand and analyse the dynamics of early marriage in terms of Islamic family psychology and to understand and analyse the efforts of early marriage actors in dealing with family problems. This thesis used qualitative research based on field research; it used primary data sources obtained from the perpetrators of early marriage, parents, officials at the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) and religious leaders in the sub-district of Bolo, Bima Regency and secondary data sources. The data were collected by doing observation, interview, and documentation. The results of this research showed that 1) The dynamics of early marriage in terms of Islamic Family Psychology that every couple would experience challenges and changes over time, the factors which influenced failure in dealing with the dynamics of early marriage were the couple's psychological factors, lack of understanding and communication, not understanding the roles and responsibilities, lack of family support, not being able to adjust in marriage. 2) The efforts of early marriage actors in dealing with family problems were a) there were problems, b) there was no communication to solve, and c) they silenced and ignored each other. While other couples tried to understand each other, communicated and the support of direction from parents.
