Abstract

The purpose of this study aims to understand the application of cooperative learning techniques STAD method in collaboration with Talking Stick to improving student learning result of an economics class in Senior High School. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with a qualitative approach. This research consists of two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages of action planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results showed that the application of cooperative learning techniques STAD method in collaboration with Talking Stick on economic subjects can improve student learning results in economics class. In more detail, in the first cycle, the average pre-test score was about 43.63 and post-test 79.37 with the completeness s percentage 56.25 percent. Meanwhile, in the second cycle, the average value of pre-test value 52.72 with the completeness percentage approximately 6.06% and the post-test score was 84.24 with a completion percentage of 81.81%.

Abstract

This research was done in the eleventh grade of Economic Base-Interest Class at Senior High School 1 Tumpang. There were 40 students in the class which consisted of 31 females and 9 males. The data collection of the implementation of quantum learning and mind mapping was using teacher’s observation checklist. The data of the student’s learning result were obtained from pretest and postest, and the data of the student’s creativity was obtained from the observation sheet of the student’s creativity in making mind mapping.Based on  the results of  the data collection, there was improvement in the eleventh grade of Economic Base-Interest Class students’s learning result and creativity. This was proven by the researcher’s success on  implementing quantum learning and mind mapping model. In cycle 1, 74% of the students were categorized good (B). In cycle 2, there was improvement, which was 90% of the students were categorized very good (A).  It can be concluded that the student’s learning process improved from 74% in the cycle 1 to 90% in the cycle 2, or it was 19% improved. Meanwhile, the improvement of the student’s creativity in making mind mapping individually or in group was showed by the students or groups who could successfully reach the category of very good (A) in the cycle 2. At first, those students or groups could not reach that category. The success of the implementation of the learning model by the researcher was very good (A). In addition, the score of category very good (A) is 80-90. Based on the result of the study, the teachers especially the economics teachers are suggested to implement this learning especially the economics teachers are suggested to implement this learning model to improve student’s learning result and also student’s creativity. DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v11i12018p063

Abstract

With the development of the era, the technology also developed from smartphones to personal computers. This research is intended to develop teaching materials with HTML-based web browser on materials about economic materials Central Bank that can help students understand the material and facilitate teachers in evaluating the results of learning. The purpose of this research is as follows: (1) To develop the use of interactive economic learning media by using HTML web application for students of class X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Gondanglegi Malang Regency on the material of central bank. (2) To know student response of class X IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Gondanglegi Malang Regency on economic learning media by using HTML web on central bank material.This research uses Borg and Gall model which has been adjusted to eight stages. Research development is a research method that is used to produce web media products and test the effectiveness of Web Media HTML-based. Data analysis techniques conducted in this study using qualitative and quantitative, Qualitative data in the comments from the later analysis in order to get input to the media and quantitative data obtained from the questionnaire validity related to the feasibility of HTML-based Web media whose data will be expressed in the form of numbers. Results of research and development of Web-Based Media HTML that applied to the students of class X IIS SMA Negeri 1 Gondanglegi Malang Regency can be shown with data from questionnaire validity that has been tested also to students. The result of the validation of Expert material is 93.18% and for the validity test of Expert Media by 86% while the result of the validity test to the student that is equal to 95.3% Thus, the results show that the learning media developed by the researcher is said to be very valid or very good. So for the next researchers and developers more innovative in developing HTML Web media in the Central Bank's learning process for the learning process easier.

Abstract

This study attempts to know: (1) an increase in interest learn economic after determining model cooperative TGT and (2) increasing the study results economic after determining learning model cooperative TGT.Research approach that is used is the qualitative study is descriptive analytic. The kind of research that is used is the act of instrumen research be used that is a sheet of observation, poll, and about pretax post test and test. The subject of study class XI social scient 3 SMAN 1 Kesamben, object research cooperative TGT learning. Is using the research in 2 cycles.Study results class XI Social Scient 3 SMAN 1 Kesamben increase after done a method of learning team games tournemnt (TGT). Look increase on the outcome of post test for each cycle. On the outcome of pre test there was only one of students are be completed. Then on the outcome of post test 1 in cycle 1 the percentage rose to 41.2 %. These increases do not too large on the outcome of post test to 2 the percentage forty-seven percent only up as many as 5.8 % .But the result look significant to the test to 3 that is up from 47 % to 91.2 % the percentage the increase in 44 .2 %. Interest learn class XI Social Scient 3 SMAN 1 kesamben increased.

Abstract

This study uses a Class Action Research conducted in two cycles. The subjects were students of class X IIS 4 in SMAN 1 Batu with the number of students as many as 28 students consisting of 9 male students and 19 female students. Data collection techniques in this study includes observation, interviews, field notes, student questionnaire responses, the issue of pre-test and post-test, and documentation.From the series of data analysis results and the ability to ask students' learning outcomes by implementing learning methods Time Token Arends (TTA) in the first cycle and the second cycle has increased significantly and the results of this study to get a positive response from teachers and students of class X IIS 4. Thus, recommended for teachers to implement teaching methods Time Token Arends (TTA) to improve the ability to ask and learning outcomes, as well as to avoid students who dominate in learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application of Quantum Learning study with combination of Mind Mapping technique (Mind Mapping) and think pair share in the learning process, describe improving student learning outcomes, as well as describing the students' response to the application of learning. Research procedure includes pratindakan, the first cycle and the second cycle. Quantum Learning teaching and learning of the perpaduaan between mind mapping technique (Mind Mapping) and Think Pair Share to improve learning outcomes of economic class X IPS 2 SMAN 8 Malang can be applied in the learning process very well and have an impact on student learning outcomes. The results showed an increase in the percentage of student learning outcomes classical mastery of the first cycle to the second cycle of 27.3%. Completeness of student learning outcomes classical first cycle an average of 60.6%, the second cycle average rose to 87.9%. Student learning outcomes first cycle an average of 70.9 and the second cycle the average rose to 84.2. The application of this study received a positive response.

Abstract

This research is done with the objective to develop Audio Visual Comics instructional media which can be used in Economics learning in senior high school with foreign currency exchage rate subject. Research and development model used in this reaearch is Borg & Gall model with 3 kinds of validity tests. Those tests are subject test, media test, and product trial test. Product trial test consist of small group test and field test. The collecting of the validity data is using questionnaire and written test instrument. Based on the result of the research can be concluded that Audio Visual Comics has judged very appropriate to be used in economics learning either in subject aspect, media aspect and its effectivity in classroom.

Abstract

Education in boarding schools having own way educate school tuition or of the so-called santri , santri learned about general studies and live a daily lives in the neighborhood pondok pesantren .Consumption patterns in boarding schools influenced by many factors such as knowledge basic economic, and environment boarding schools. Population in research it is a whole santriwan IIS MA Pondok Pesantren Nurul Ulum poor were 57 santriwan .Sample in this research using all population. The kind of research that is used is research eksplanasi , with technical linear regression analysis worship of idols .Variable research among other: the economics basic knowledge (X1), perception of boarding school (X2), and consumption behavior (Y). Using techniques data collection tests and survey or questionnaire. The conclusion of research is (1) basic knowledge economy influential significantly to consumption patterns santriwan IIS MA boarding schools Nurul Ulum Malang. (2) boarding schools environmental effect significantly to consumption patterns santriwan IIS MA boarding schools Nurul Ulum Malang. Basic knowledge economy and the environment boarding schools significant against consumption patterns santriwan IIS MA boarding schools Nurul Ulum Malang.
