Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused various social and economic problems, the impact of which is felt by the community to be extreme. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused various social and economic problems, the impact of which is felt by the community to be extreme. People who are economically weak, have acces and education in a pandemic situation are faced with groups of people we have dominat power, and have implications for unbalanced competition in socio economis life. Empowerment is one of the strategies so thet weak communities can have empowerment and are to solve problems caused by the Covid-19 pandemic voluntarily and independently.Exsploration of previous studies and literature review are strategies and techniques in constructing empowerment strategies. The results of this study indicate that empowerment must be based on the potential strength of culture, values, and local wisdom of the community. Social capital becomes energy in increasing community empowerment and capacity. The stages in the empowerment strategy that must be carried out are site selection, socialization and empowerment. The right form of empowerment in the Covid-19 pandemic era is Community Based Empowerment, while social capital can be designed to strengthen community social capital in the Covid-19 pandemic era, namely (1) Social bounding (2) Social bridging (3) Social linking. The construction of community empowerment strategies lies in the positioning of local wisdom, local potentials, individual characteristics and regional characteristics as energy in the empowerment process. The recommendations produced in this study are the need for the concept of empowerment and strengthening of social capital capacity that is implementable, measurable and leads to increased creativity and innovation of the community.

Abstract

Latar belakang: CFW dan Harajuku merupakan sebuah tren yang menarik perhatian masyarakat dan digandrungi oleh para remaja di Indonesia. CFW menjadi wadah bagi para remaja untuk mengekspresikan diri mereka melalui cara berbusana. Kehadiran CFW membentuk preferensi terhadap pakaian yang berhubungan dengan psikologis seseorang. Selain itu, CFW juga identik dengan budaya Harajuku di Jepang yang menampilkan kreasi fashion di jalanan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pembentukan identitas sosial dan simbol fashion yang diusung CFW dan Harajuku, mulai dari cara berpakaian, pemakaian dan penempatan asesoris, pemilihan waran. Tujuan: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat simbol sosial dan identitas CFW dan Harajuku dalam fashion remaja. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat eksploratif yang bertujuan menggambarkan, mendeskripsikan dan menampilkan realitas dan fenomena suatu kelompok sosial. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dan penulusuran literatur selama tiga bulan di tahun 2022. Hasil: penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CFW dan Harajuku membentuk identitas sosial dan simbol fashion baru di kalangan remaja dengan konsep casual, trendi, terbuka, sporty dan modern. CFW dan Harajuku ingin menunjukkan kepada khalayak publik bahwa fashion remaja memiliki karakter kuat, berani dan merupakan simbol perlawanan terhadap fashion yang hanya dimiliki kalangan atas, karenanya konsep fashion yang diusung di luar keumumam style fashion yang ada. Nilai sosial yang ingin disampaikan kepada khalayak publik bahwa fashion harus bebas dari kepentingan, tidak hanya dimiliki oleh kalangan atas, mewah, branded dan terbatas, tetapi fashion milik khalayak umum dimana semua kalangan dapat mengusung style yang tidak kalah trendi dan menarik. Tren fashion di CFW kemudian dibanggakan sebagai identitas fashion baru, dengan mengusung nilai kebebasan, kreativitas, inovasi dan kemampuan berdaya saing.

Abstract

Analogue switch-off (ASO) is the process of breaking off an analogue television signal so that digital transmission is completely adopted. Indonesia is currently struggling to move to a total ASO across the country to reap the social and economic benefits of digital conversion. This research specifically uses descriptive research to provide a detailed description of a particular phenomenon. This digitization of television broadcasting can drive better innovation, job creation, productivity and competitiveness, allocating the digital dividend to mobile communications will drive internet adoption and have a huge lucrative economic impact.

Abstract

Problem krusial dalam mengatasi persoalan pasca bencana adalah rendahnya pengetahuan mitigasi bencana masyarakat. Kabupaten Pandeglang adalah daerah yang rentan bencana dan telah beberapa kali terjadi bencana gempa dan tahun 2018 dilanda tsunami. Melihat kondisi seperti ini, maka pemerintah, masyarakat dan pihak lainnya harus memiliki inisiatif untuk melakukan sosialisasai dan edukasi mitigasi bencana secara intensif dan berkesinambungan. Tujuannya agar masyarakat lebih mudah memahami informasi dan memiliki pengetahuan yang lebih baik terkait mitigasi bencana. Kegiatan sosisalisasi ini menggunakan metode edutainment yang merupakan penggabungan aspek pendidikan dan aspek hiburan, terdiri dari tiga tahap yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini terpusat di lapangan Kecamatan Cibaliung, dilaksanakan pada tanggal 17 Agustus 2024 bertepatan dengan hari kemerdekan Republik Indonesia yang ke 78 dengan jumlah sasaran peserta 1000 peserta. Edutainment sebagai model dan strategi sosialisasi mitigasi bencana telah memberikan dampak yang luar biasa bagi masyarakat, masyarakat menjadi lebih paham bagaimana melindungi diri ketika bencana, mengevakuasi diri, beradaptasi dan bertransformasi untuk kehidupan pasca bencana. Pesan yang disampaikan dengan model edutainment dikemas dengan menekankan aspek kreasi seni yang disukai masyarakat. Edutainment sebagai model sosialisasi mitigasi bencana telah berhasil secara efektif dan efisien menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait mitigasi bencana.

Abstract

Growing and developing children's interest in reading is the first step in shaping the characteristics and creativity of children in Curug Village, Baros District, Pandeglang Regency. Reading is a necessity in increasing knowledge in this village. A strategy to expand the role of the reading corner is needed to improve children's interest in reading, therefore this mentoring activity aims to increase the usefulness of the village corner to grow and develop reading interest in children. This activity uses a community empowerment method with the Participation Rural Applied model with the basic principles of the method of involvement and involvement of children in all activities. There are four stages of activities applied in this service activity; the introduction stage, needs planning, activity organization, and activity evaluation. The need recognition stage consists of direct observations related to the issue of children's interest in reading. The second plan is to prepare activities and determine media, approaches, and methods. Third, the implementation is the process of assisting children in reading, writing, and listening. Fourth, monitoring activities in the form of periodic monitoring. Fifth, evaluation to analyze the process and quality of activities. The result of this activity is children's interest in reading, creativity, enthusiasm, and courage to explore knowledge is wider. The role and existence of the reading corner are very strategic in growing and developing children's interest in reading and knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to provide socialization and provide knowledge so that adolescents know and understand the four pillars of digital literacy, and so that adolescents can utilize the digital space as a means of fostering and developing an attitude of pride and love for the country's culture and products. Dialogical and interactive methods are used in this activity with the aim of making it easier for participants to understand the material given. This activity is carried out through five stages, namely: planning stage, pre-test; Socialization; simulation, and the post-test stage. The activity was attended by 75 students, with the results of the activity showing an increase in the breadth and comprehensiveness of adolescents' knowledge about the four pillars of digital literacy, culture, and products in the country. Participants become fully aware and aware of digital security, digital proficiency, digital ethics, digital culture, culture of the homeland and products of the homeland. The participants even learned how to avoid hoax news, cyberbullying, scheming and cybercrime.

Abstract

Financial technology (fintech) has expanded access to financial services in Indonesia but has also heightened risks of digital crimes such as identity theft, online fraud, phishing, and malware attacks. In Banten Province, the rapid growth of fintech platforms is coupled with low digital financial literacy, making the public more vulnerable. This study examines the role of Bank Indonesia's digital financial literacy in preventing financial crimes in Banten Province using a qualitative approach with interviews, observations, and documentation studies, analyzed thematically. Findings reveal that the Bank Indonesia Banten Representative Office plays a strategic role through three main functions: (1) as a regulator emphasizing literacy as early prevention; (2) as a facilitator conducting educational programs directly and online; and (3) as a supervisor monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness. Digital financial crimes in the region have risen in both frequency and complexity, with perpetrators exploiting low literacy through phishing, illegal loans, impersonation of official institutions, and emotional manipulation. This highlights digital literacy as a primary community safeguard. In Serang City, the literacy program is delivered through seminars, training, workshops, transaction simulations, and digital channels such as social media, webinars, and educational videos. The inclusive approach is tailored to varying levels of understanding and targets students, MSMEs, and the elderly, ensuring broad community engagement in crime prevention.

Abstract

Pandeglang Regency is home to numerous potential tourism villages dispersed across various locations; however, their management remains fragmented and lacks comprehensive stakeholder involvement. This study examines the participation and role of local elites in tourism village development through a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and observations. The findings reveal that Community-Based Tourism (CBT), emphasizing community participation in organizing, managing, and developing tourism independently with self-awareness, is the most suitable concept for the region. Local elite participation manifests in two forms: mechanical participation, driven by external systemic requirements, and organic participation, arising from the elites’ intrinsic awareness and commitment. The political roles of local elites are categorized as opinion leaders generating and disseminating ideas, mediators bridging aspirations and interests among stakeholders, and decision-makers formulating and implementing policy decisions. It is recommended that tourism village development actively involves local elites to ensure shared responsibility and accountability in addressing potential challenges.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 yang terjadi di Indonesia berdampak besar pada berbagai sektor kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk masalah ketahanan pangan keluarga. UMKM jus dan minuman segar Bogor merupakan salah satu UMKM yang personel dan pengelolanya terkena dampak pandemi Covid-19. Dengan penurunan omset yang tajam, berdampak pada defisit pendapatan keluarga. Tenaga UMKM tidak lagi mampu menyediakan kebutuhan pangan keluarga secara seimbang dan memenuhi standar gizi yang dibutuhkan. Pendampingan diperlukan agar UMKM ini tidak hanya bertahan dan berkembang, tetapi para pengelola dan personel mampu menyediakan pangan keluarga secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini terdiri dari dua yaitu diskusi kelompok dan pendampingan. Diskusi kelompok menghasilkan peta ketahanan pangan keluarga, konsep SWOT dan analisis isu UMKM serta konsep pengembangan UMKM. Sedangkan kegiatan pendampingan yang dilakukan bersifat produktif. Status ketahanan pangan bagi keluarga pengelola UMKM, strategi pemasaran yang terukur, berkelanjutan dan dilaksanakan secara konsisten. Saran yang diberikan untuk pengembangan UMKM ini adalah perlunya kreatif dalam menciptakan inovasi produk berkualitas yang berbeda dengan UMKM lainnya dan perlunya kemasan yang mencantumkan nama UMKM pada gelas, botol, box, plastik dll untuk menarik minat masyarakat.
