Abstract

Antenatal care aims to prevent and treat conditions that can threaten the health of the fetus / new born baby and or mother. Indicators of access monitoring coverage of antenatal care use K1, service indicator pregnant women with K4 scope. K1 and K4 coverage gap in the region indicate that there are still women who are not pregnant monitored by default, if the dropout rate K1 - K4 more than 10 % means that the region is problematic and needs to search. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between education and pregnancy planning with complete antenatal care in women in Mojokerto regency.The study design was cross sectional. The number of respondents was 140 K1 ever recorded in 2011. Data were analyzed with bivariate and multivariable chi square test and multiple logistic regression. The results of this study are in bivariate relationship exists between education (p = 0.001) and planning a pregnancy (p < 0.001) with complete antenatal care , the results obtained in multi- variable education ( p = 0.012 , POR = 3.299 , IK95 % = 1.307 to 8.327 ) and planning a pregnancy ( p < 0.001 , POR = 8.817 , IK95 % = 3.843 to 20.233).The conclusions of this study are mothers with secondary education up and have a mother who is planning a pregnancy completeness of antenatal care compared to mothers with primary education and women with unplanned pregnancies .Keywords : antenatal care , education , planning a pregnancy

Abstract

Adolescence is an important growth period, adolescence can be the best and can be the worst. The ideal age for pregnancy is 20-30 years old, more or less than that age is a high risk. Today, the teen pregnancy rate in Indonesia is still very high. Adolescent positioned into risk groups because lack of knowledge and rights of adolescents on reproductive health,. Parents tend to avoid discussing sexual matters with children because of ignorance or because of his still taboo talk about sex. The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between parenting with the knowledge and attitude of students of SMAN 1 Gondang Mojokerto about teenage pregnancy. This study used a cross sectional research design. Data were collected by using a questionnaire to 179 respondents. The results of of this research is that there is a correlation between parenting with knowledge (p <0.05), and there is a correlation between parenting with attitude of students of SMA Negeri 1 Gondang about teen pregnancy (p <0.05).It is expected that the results of this study can provide a positive contribution to the development of science including: (1) Material considerations in setting health policy and health promotion as a reference in promotive, preventive in improving health status (2) Additional information parenting teens in an effort to keep from falling in understanding and improper sexual behavior.Keyword : parenting, knowledge, attitude, teenage pregnancy

Abstract

Informasi sangat menentukan pemilihan kontrasepsi yang dipilih, sehingga informasi yang lengkap mengenai kontrasepsi sangat diperlukan dalam pemilihan metode kontrasepsi. Audio visual memberikan kontribusi yang sangat besar dalam perubahan perilaku masyarakat, terutama dalam aspek informasi dan persuasi karena memberikan stimulus pada pendengaran dan penglihatan sehingga hasil yang diperoleh lebih maksimal. Kontrasepsi pasca salin sangat penting untuk wanita karena dapat menyelamatkan kehidupan. Penggunaan kontrasepsi dapat dipersiapkan sejak masa kehamilan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan memberikan health education dengan media informasi Audio Visual (multimedia) pada ibu hamil yang telah datang pada kelas ibu hamil di Balai Desa Leminggir Kabupaten Mojokerto. Sebelum dilakukan health education ibu hamil diberikan kuesioner pre test untuk mengukur pengetahuan ibu kemudian dilakukan health education setelah itu diberikan kuesioner post test. Didapatkan hasil skor pengetahuan sebelum perlakuan rata-rata 48,13 dan setelah perlakuan meningkat menjadi 70 dimana skor tersebut terdapat selisih 21,87 atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 45,4%, skor &rho;-value = 0,042 (&rho;-value <0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan skor yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan health education dengan menggunakan media audio visual (video) pada ibu hamil atau terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pengetahuan tentang kontrasepsi pasca bersalin setelah dilakukan health education dengan menggunakan media audio visual (multimedia).

Abstract

Background: One of the government's efforts to reduce MMR, IMR and reduce complications during pregnancy include the activities of the Mother Love Movement, Strategy Making Pregnancy Safer and the Duplication of Mother and Child Health Books. The KIA handbook as an educational tool and an effort to increase information on pregnant women. Objective: This study aims to explore related to the use of the KIA handbook as a source of information, Birth Plan and Postpartum Contraception Planning. Methods: This study uses a concurrent triangulation strategy by collecting quantitative and qualitative data together. The sample in this study was 30 pregnant women with total sampling technique. Data analysis with a comparison of quantitative data and qualitative data. Results: The results of the study showed that out of the 15 respondents who had good use of the KIA handbook, the majority had good labor preparation. While of the 9 respondents who used the KIA handbook with sufficient categories, the majority also had good childbirth preparations. Of the 15 respondents who had good use of the KIA handbook, the majority had made contraceptive preparations. While of the 6 respondents who had less use of the KIA handbook, none planned for postpartum contraception. Conclusion: The conclusion is that the better the use of the KIA handbook, the better the preparation of labor and post-partum contraceptive planning.

Abstract

The morbidity and mortality rates for pregnant, postpartum and postpartum women are still a big problem. One of the factors of this morbidity rate is postpartum pain caused by perineal tears. Pain management has two methods, namely pharmacological and non-pharmacological. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of non-pharmacological interventions in reducing perineal wound pain in postpartum mothers. The method used in this paper is a literature review. The preparation of the literature review was carried out by searching articles from the Google Scholar and Pubmed databases. The keywords used included non-pharmacological, perineal pain OR reducing perineal pain, and postpartum. The inclusion criteria in this literature search were articles from 2018-2023, articles in Indonesian, articles in English, free full-text articles, original articles and articles on non-pharmacological therapy to reduce perineal wound pain in postpartum mothers. The results of the study, it was obtained the results of several non-pharmacological interventions that were effective in reducing perineal wound pain, namely Papaya Leaf Decoction, Red Ginger, Cinnamon Extract, Aromatherapy (Chamomile Aromatherapy, Lavender Aromatherapy, Lemon Aromatherapy), Sitz Bath Therapy, Compress Ice Gel and Acuyoga Postpartum. Based on the findings of the literature, this non-pharmacological intervention in postpartum mothers has proven effective to be applied in practice and is recommended for health workers.

Abstract

Stunting is another form of growth failure and chronic malnutrition. Stunting can occur before birth and is caused by very poor nutritional intake during pregnancy, very poor eating patterns, low food quality in line with the frequency of infections so that it can inhibit growth. Stunting prevention is an important priority, especially during pregnancy. The aim of this research is to describe the efforts of pregnant women to prevent stunting during pregnancy at the Akbar Medika Clinic, Mojokerto Regency. The research design used in this research is descriptive. The population was all third trimester pregnant women at the Akbar Medika Clinic, Mojokerto Regency, totaling 30 people, the sampling technique used was a non-probability sampling technique, accidental sampling type, totaling 28 people. The results of this research are that efforts to prevent stunting during pregnancy among pregnant women in the third trimester are mostly good (64.3%). Mother's characteristics and sociodemographics are related to stunting prevention behavior, some of which are age and education. The older the mother gets, the better the knowledge she gets and the better mindset she has, thus making the mother behave well. With higher education, mothers can more easily receive information and are able to apply all things or behavior that are good for their pregnancy.

Abstract

Status gizi dan kesehatan ibu dan anak sebagai penentu kualitas sumber daya manusia, hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya status gizi dan kesehatan ibu pada masa pra hamil, saat kehamilannya dan saat menyusui merupakan periode yang sangat kritis. Asupan gizi ibu hamil merupakan faktor penting, baik untuk pemenuhan nutrisi ibu hamil maupun pertumbuhan dan perkembangan janin di dalam kandungannya. Oleh karena itu, ibu hamil harus mempunyai status gizi yang baik dan mengonsumsi makanan yang beranekaragam baik proporsi maupun jumlahnya. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu melalui edukasi tentang pemenuhan gizi pada masa kehamilan, ibu hamil diberikan kuesioner pre test untuk mengukur pengetahuan, kemudian dilakukan edukasi dengan media audio visual (video edukasi) setelah itu diberikan post test. Didapatkan hasil skor pengetahuan sebelum perlakuan rata-rata 69,04 dan setelah perlakuan meningkat menjadi 82,72 dimana skor tersebut terdapat selisih 13,68 atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 19,8%, skor ρ-value = 0,000 (ρ-value <0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan skor yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan edukasi pada ibu hamil atau terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pengetahuan tentang pemenuhan gizi pada masa kehamilan. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pemberian edukasi menggunakan media audio visual dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pemenuhan gizi pada masa kehamilan.

Abstract

Stunting is a disorder of child growth and development, caused by chronic malnutrition and repeated infections that last for a long time, generally from pregnancy to the age of 2 years. Preventing stunting is an important priority, especially during pregnancy. The support of a husband greatly influences the psyche of a pregnant woman to act and make the best decisions to determine her health status. If the husband support the mother to check her pregnancy, maintain a diet, avoid stress, maintain her health and so on, then the mother will be motivated and enthusiastic in undergoing her pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of husband's support in preventing stunting during pregnancy at the Akbar Medika Clinic, Mojokerto Regency. The research design used in this study was descriptive. The population was all pregnant women in the third trimester at the Akbar Medika Clinic, Mojokerto Regency, as many as 30 people with the sampling technique used non-probability sampling type of accidental sampling as many as 28 people. The results of this study are that husband's support in efforts to prevent stunting during pregnancy in pregnant women in the third trimester is mostly good (60.7%). The characteristics and sociodemographics of pregnant women's husbands are related to their husbands' support in efforts to prevent stunting during pregnancy, some of which are age and education. The higher the husband's age, the better the knowledge he gets and the better his mindset, so that the husband behaves well, especially in providing support. The higher the level of education of the husband, the better the support given. With higher education, husbands can more easily receive information and are able to apply all things or good behavior for their wife's pregnancy.
