Abstract

The purpose of this paper was to test the trade-off theory of capital structure. We started with identifyingvariables that influenced capital structure. Partial Adjustment Model used in this study was to test adjustmentto target capital structure. Based on a sample of non-financial Indonesian listed firms from 2008 to 2012, wefound liquidity, profitability, tangible asset, growth, and cash flow influenced the use of debt on the firm. Theresults of the test Speed of Adjustment (SOA) with Partial Adjustment Model showed the inconsistency of theDynamic Trade-Off Theory.

Abstract

Inventory holding, order processing and asymmetry are component of cost of bid-ask spread. Two of these costs, inventory holding and The asymmetry information, can not observed be directly, so need a proxi. Trading volume and return can be as inventory holding proxi. This study investigated the influence of trading volume and return to stock bid-ask spread. This case study is taken from telecomunnication industry, that are PT. Telkom and PT. Indosat. The reason choice of these object, because PT. Telkom and PT. Indosat stock are traded actively. The result of this study show that, first independent variable (trading volume and return) and dependent variable (stock bid-ask spread) have significant influence. Second, trading volume to stock bid-ask spread have positive influence. And third return to stock bid-ask spread have negative influence

Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of financial literacy on financial satisfaction with financial behavior as a moderating variable. This research was conducted on SMEs in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta with a total of 100 SMEs with the sample criteria that MSMEs have been operating for at least 1 year and provide primary needs. This study uses three variables. Data were tested using simple regression and moderated regression analysis. The results of the study show that financial literacy has a positive effect on financial satisfaction. In addition, it was found that financial behavior moderates the effect of financial literacy on financial literacy in MSMEs in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. This study shows that the financial literacy of MSME actors will influence their financial behaviour decisions so that the impact will be seen on their financial satisfaction.

Abstract

The study analyzed the effect of business environment factors on manufacturing strategy. Data was collected from 43 organisations in Bantul, Yogyakarta. The analyses using Multivariate Multiple Regression Analysis (MMRA) found the results that simultaneously the factors of business environment effected manufacturing strategy. But, partially they did not. Only business cost, labor availability, and market dynamism significantly influenced manufacturing strategy.Keywords: Business environment, Manufacturing strategy, Multivariate Multiple Regression Analysis
