Abstract

Sustainability performance as measured through environmental, economic, and social performance, could be a competitive advantage for organizations amid the current tight business competition. Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) practices which consist of green purchasing, green manufacturing, green marketing, green distribution and packaging, internal environmental management, environmental education, and investment recovery, could be a way for organizations to obtain their sustainability performance. This study aims to examine the impact of GSCM on sustainability performance of natural-dyed batik SME in Yogyakarta Province. The data were collected using questionnaire and later obtained 39 respondents who were selected by using area sampling technique. The data were analyzed descriptively and quantitively using Partial Least Square (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.2.8 software. The results of the analysis show that green purchasing, green manufacturing, green marketing, internal environmental management, and environmental education affect SME’s environmental, economic, and social performance positively and significantly. On the other hand, green distribution and packaging as well as investment recovery do not have positive and significant impact on SME’s environmental, economic, and social performance. The conclusion of this study is that the adoption of GSCM practices does not affect the overall SME’s sustainability performance, yet affects individually.

Abstract

The researchers wanted to get some evidence to prove the hypotheses of this study. Flow experience, customer satisfaction, customer experience, and customer loyalty are the variables in this study. From the population of online shopping application users in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, a sample was selected using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The data was then analyzed using Partial Least Square with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The first testing stage is the outer measurement to obtain validity and reliability values. Then, the researchers conducted an inner model measurement to find evidence of whether the hypotheses were accepted or rejected. The analysis results show that (1) Flow experience has a positive effect on customer loyalty, (2) Flow experience has a positive effect on customer experience, (3) Customer experience has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, (4) Customer satisfaction does not have a positive effect on customer loyalty, (5) Customer experience has a positive effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The purpose of the paper is to analyze the effect of green supply chain management on economic performance in catering SMEs in the province of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In the previous research, those relationships are mediated by green capability as the intervening variable. This study uses a purposive sampling technique. There are 50 catering SMEs as samples in this study. The questionnaire data were analyzed using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis method using the SmartPLS v.3.2.7 software. The results of this study are different from the previous research. The differences may come from the highly distinct population from the prior research subjects. Therefore, some hypotheses are not accepted. Only one hypothesis is accepted, which is about the effect of green capability on economic performance. The limitation of this research is that it only conducts research in one sector, and the differences in circumstances and places of research cause research results to differ significantly from previous studies. In addition, the results of this study cannot be generalized and do not represent existing businesses in other sectors.

Abstract

This study analyzed the performance of SMEs influenced by information communication technology, supply chain management, and competitive advantage. The researcher selected the bakpia-producing SMEs in Sleman Regency as the population in this study. This research analyzed the data collected from the questionnaires using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis method using the SmartPLS v.3.2.7 software. The results of this study show that not all hypotheses are accepted. The first hypothesis is accepted where supply chain management positively affects competitive advantage. Supply chain management also affects SME performance positively; thus, the second hypothesis is accepted. Meanwhile, the third hypothesis is accepted, where information communication technology positively affects supply chain management. Two hypotheses are not accepted. The first is the fourth hypothesis: information and communication technology do not affect competitive advantage. The second is the fifth hypothesis: competitive advantage does not affect SME performance. The research team suggests bakpia-producing SMEs to improve information and communication technology and supply chain management practices.
