Abstract

The research objective was to evaluate  the readiness of the management of the implementation of vocational practice in the industry,  The process of implementation, and  factors constraints. Evaluative descriptive method CIPP models. The research sample are 12 public and private vocational taken proportionate stratified random sampling. The results showed: (1) evaluation of context is high, namely: (a) the quality of student competence, (b) the suitability of the implementation of the program with school policy, and (c) management readiness is high; (2) evaluation of input is very high, namely: (a) the readiness of student competence, (b) the readiness of the management of the school program, and (c) the readiness of teacher competence; (3) evaluation of the process, namely: (a) the process of implementation of the program running on schedule, but less relevant to the competencies required of students, (b) factors inhibiting factor, the lack of cooperation with the industry; and (4) evaluation of products is quite high, namely: (a) creating a link and match learning in schools, (b) increase student competence

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan sebuah profil kompetensi bidang kelistrikan berdasarkan klasifikasi dan kualifikasi dunia usaha dan dunia industri. Profil kompetensi ini dapat digunakan untuk pengembangan kurikulum lembaga Diklat bidang kelistrikan, pendidikan vokasi, dan lembaga sertifikasi profesi bidang kelistrikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengikuti model pengembangan dari Plomp dengan pendekatan DACUM (Developing A Curriculum). Pendekatan Dacum ini melibatkan pelaku industri dan pelaku usaha. Subjek penelitian ini adalah: (1) PT Semen Tonasa sebagai industri besar sebagai pemakai energi listrik; (2) PLN sebagai pemasok tenaga listrik; (3) Assosiasi Kontraktor Listrik Indonesia (AKLI); dan (4) APEI sebagai Lembaga Sertifikasi Kelistrikan Indonesia. Hasil kajian literatur, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara dengan DUDI dijadikan dasar pemetaan kompetensi kerja bidang kelistrikan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan profil kompetensi bidang kelistrikan berupa pemetaan kompetensi kerja bidang kelistrikan berdasarkan klasifikasi dan kualifikasi dunia kerja. Kata Kunci: profil, kompetensi, kualifikasi, klasifikasi, pemetaan THE PROFILE OF ELECTRICITY COMPETENCE BASED ON THE INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING Abstract: This study was aimed to produce a competence profile in the electricity field based on the industrial classification and qualificaions. The competence profile could be used to develop a curriculum in an education and training institution in the electricity field, vocation education, and certification institutions in the electricity field. The study used the research and development developed by Plomp using the DACUM (Developing a curriculum) approach. The Dacum approach involved industrial and business agents. The subjects were: (1) PT Semen Tonasa as a big industry as an electricity energy user; (2) the state electricity company; (3) the association of Indonesian electricity contractors; and (4) APEI as an Indonesian certification institution in the electricity field. The results of the literature review, field observations, and interviews with industrial and business agents were used in mapping the competence in the electricity field. The findings produced a competence profile in the electricity field based on industrial classifications and qualifications. Keywords: profile, competence, qualification, classification, mapping

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual pada mata kuliah Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 dan (2) mengetahui media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual pada mata kuliah Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 valid, praktis dan efektif digunakanHasil penelitian dan pengembangan yaitu sebuah produk berupa media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual yang di dalamnya terdapat materi-materi inti dari Mata Kuliah Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3). Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Thiagarajan (1974) yaitu model 4D yang terdiri dari empat langkah yakni pendefinisian (define), perancangan (design), pengembangan (development) dan penyebaran (dissemination). Hasil penelitian dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah berupa produk media pembelajaran berbasis audio visual yang dikembangkan menggunakan Adobe Flash CS6 untuk Mata Kuliah Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) dengan hasil penilaian dari ahli materi mendapatkan persentase 97,3% dengan kategori sangat valid dan hasil penilian dari ahli media mendapatkan persentase 90,62% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji coba skala kecil untuk aspek kepraktisan mendapatkan persentase 85,6% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan untuk aspek keefektifan mendapatkan persentase 87,11% dengan persentase sangat efektif. Hasil uji coba skala besar untuk aspek kepraktisan mendapatkan persentase 85,46% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan untuk aspek keefektifan mendapatkan persentase 85,36% dengan persentase sangat efektif

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the implementation of Creative Problem Solving learning model is better than direct learning model on students’ creative thinking skills in Basic Programming subject in SMKN 1 Soppeng. This research type was experimental research. The nonequivalent control group design was used as experimental design with the samples of 60 students. The data were collected through creative thinking skill test and questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results obtained in this study indicate that the students’ creative thinking skills are better in the implementation of Creative Problem Solving learning model than the direct learning model in Basic Programming subject in SMKN 1 Soppeng. Based on the aforementioned results, it can be concluded that there are differences in student’s creative thinking skills in the implementation of Creative Problem Solving learning model and the implementation of direct learing model in Basic Programming subject in SMKN 1 Soppeng.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of training, further education, and teaching experience on teacher professionalism development. The study employed ex-post facto research method. The totalpopulation is 423 people, and the research sample is 112 people, who obtained by employingpurposive sampling technique. Data collection employed documentation and questionnaire. Theprerequisite test employed the data normality test, data linearity test, data multi-collinearity test, anddata heteroscedasticity test. The results of the descriptive analysis indicate that training, furthereducation, and teaching experience have contributed to productive teacher professionalismdevelopment at public vocational schools in Makassar city, which is in very high category. Based onthe hypothesis test using a simple linear regression test and multiple linear regression test, it isdiscovered that: (1) there is a significant influence between training and productive teacherprofessionalism development at public vocational schools in Makassar city. The test results show thatthe sig. is 0.000 < 0.05 with a contribution of 33.1%, (2) there is a significant influence betweenfurther education and productive teacher professionalism development at public vocational schools inMakassar city. The test results show that the sig. is 0.000 < 0.05 and has an influence of 31.3%, (3)there is a significant influence between teaching experience and productive teacher professionalismdevelopment at public vocational schools in Makassar city. The test results show that the sig. is 0.000< 0.05 and has an influence of 46.4%, and (4) the training, further education, and teachingexperience collectively have an influence on productive teacher professionalism development atpublic vocational schools in Makassar city. The test results show that the sig. is 0.000 < 0.05 and hasan influence of 50.6%.
