Abstract

The development of cellular communication technology has transformed the way we interact and access information in ourdaily lives. Cellular networks based on GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) remain one of the dominant technologies in the telecommunications world. However, in some cases, challenges related to signal coverage still persist, especially in remote areas or those affected by disasters. This research aims to address these issues. Researchers have built a GSM network using the Open BTS system, an open-source software project that has revolutionized the way cellular networks can be implemented flexibly and affordably. The construction of Open BTS is much more affordable than building conventional BTS, and in times of disaster, communication is crucial and must be quickly available. By using Open BTS and USRP N210 hardware, there is potential toovercome signal coverage issues in GSM networks. Based on the experimental data conducted, the placement distance of Open BTS and the height placement of Open BTS antennas need to be considered. This is because the farther the distance between Open BTS and the users' mobile phones, the higher the delay experienced during call and SMS services. In this study, the furthest distance of 20 meters and a height of 3 meters resulted in an average call delay of 14.27 seconds and an average SMS delay of 34.84 seconds. Conversely, the closest distance of 5 meters and an Open BTS antenna height of 0 meters compared to the user's phone resulted in an average call delay of 9.15 seconds and an average SMS delay of 11.65 seconds. The distance and height variations of Open BTS also affect the signal strength received by the users' phones. Abstract

The use of digital internet-based services has become a primary need, especially in academic environments such as campuses.Triple Play services, which include internet, IPTV, and VoIP, are increasingly used to support daily activities such as teaching,research, and administration. However, an increase in the number of users or traffic can pose a problem that potentially disrupts service quality. Therefore, this study was conducted to understand how the increase in traffic affects Quality of Service (QoS).The research methodology includes predicting incoming traffic, which involves estimating the number of users, calculating trafficintensity, and determining traffic volume over a day. Network quality testing involves calculating the power link budget. Service quality testing includes measuring throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter using Ettercap and Wireshark software.The results of the study show that the daily traffic volume is 669,600 Mbit for internet services, 201,600 Mbit for IPTV services, and 787.2 Mbit for VoIP services. The traffic intensity over a day is 18.6 Mbps for internet services, 5.6 Mbps for IPTV, and 0.262 Mbps for VoIP, with peak traffic activity occurring at 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM. The calculated attenuation of 21.65 dB and receiver power of - 17.66 dBm indicate that the network can provide good service quality. An increase in traffic will lead to higher throughput, no packet loss, and a reduction in delay and jitter. High traffic can cause strain on the network capacity, particularly if the capacity is insufficient to handle the volume of traffic. Insufficient network capacity will result in decreased service quality, characterized by reduced throughput and increased packet loss, delay, and jitter. In such conditions, the services that experience significant quality degradation are VoIP and IPTV. Keywords: FTTH, Triple Play, Network Traffic, Quality of Service, Network Quality.

Abstract

Pasar wisata merupakan salah satu tempat yang sering dikunjungi wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara. Akses internetnirkabel atau Wi-Fi merupakan fasilitas penting yang diharapkan oleh pengunjung dan pedagang. Pasar Wisata KepuharjoKabupaten Malang bukanlah segalanya. Internet memungkinkan pemasaran digital bagi pelaku industri dan dapat menarik minat wisatawan sehingga menghasilkan pertumbuhan jumlah kunjungan yang signifikan. Namun pengelolaan jaringan hotspot akhirnya mampu memecahkan tantangan tersebut, terutama dalam hal efisiensi pengelolaan bandwidth. Penelitian ini menjawabtantangan tersebut dengan menyelidiki implementasi server hotspot dengan manajemen bandwidth menggunakan Router untukmeningkatkan pengalaman pengguna, efisiensi sumber daya, dan pengembangan pariwisata lokal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen bandwidth menjamin akses internet yang stabil dan merata bagi pengunjung dan pedagang di pasar wisata. Pengujian menggunakan software Network cell info lite diperoleh kecepatan download terendah 5300 Kbps dan tertinggi 9200 Kbps, upload terendah 1000 Kbps dan tertinggi 3100 Kbps, serta RSSI terendah -28 dBm dan tertinggi -54 dBm. Pengujian menggunakan software Wireshark diperoleh throughput terendah sebesar 6123.7 Kbps, throughput tertinggi sebesar 11410.8 Kbps, delay terendah sebesar 0.691 ms, delay tertinggi sebesar 1.282 ms, dan packet loss sebesar 0.1%. Abstract

Internet telah menjadi bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari kehidupan sehari - hari. Jaringan internet bisa disediakan dan diakses dengan menggunakan kabel atau nirkabel (wireless). Kegiatan dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan rancang bangun jaringan hotspot dengan teknologi Wi-Fi di Pasar Wisata Kepuharjo Kabupaten Malang. Rancang bangun jaringan hotspot dimulai dari kegiatan survei ke lapangan, pemasangan perangkat (konfigurasi hardware dan software) dilanjutkan dengan pengujian Quality of Service (QoS). Dari perangkat utama Wi-Fi yang dipasang, terdiri dari Modem dan 2 Router menunjukkan kinerja QoS yang cukup baik. Kecuali parameter throughput menunjukkan kinerja kurang baik. Abstract

Pengenalan wajah (Face Recognition) dari sebuah citra gambar diam maupun bergerak merupakan topikyang penting dan menarik untuk diangkat saat ini. Proses pengenalan wajah ini menjadi lanjutan dari prosesdeteksi wajah yang mempunyai banyak implementasi baik pada bidang keamanan maupun sosial media.Tujuan dari proses pengenalan wajah adalah mengidentifikasi identitas seseorang melalui wajah seseorangtersebut sesuai dengan data yang diterima dari suatu basis data. Wajah dapat menjadi identitas pribadi dariseseorang yang dapat digunakan untuk berbagai macam kepentingan dalam interaksi manusia dengankomputer serta juga dapat menentukan atau mengkonfirmasi seseorang. Oleh sebab itu komputer memerlukansuatu program khusus untuk melakukan hal tersebut, karena komputer sendiri tidak memiliki cara berpikirseperti manusia. Pada penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai pemrograman dari pengenalan wajah denganmenggunakan bahasa Python yang menggunakan IDE Pycharm. Hasil dari pemrograman ini akanmemperlihatkan proses dan citra video yang telah terimplementasikan pengenalan wajah.Kata Kunci : Python, Pycharm, Deteksi wajah, Pengenalan wajah.

Abstract

This study presents the design and implementationof a smart aquarium system based on the Internet of Things(IoT) to optimize the growth performance of snakehead fish(Channa striata) through environmental control. The systemutilizes an ESP32 microcontroller connected to a DS18B20temperature sensor, PH-4502C pH sensor, and actuatorsincluding a water heater, dosing pumps, and an automatedfeeding system using LDR and servo. Temperature regulationis managed using a PI controller with Ziegler-Nichols tuning,while pH stabilization is achieved through automated injectionof sodium bicarbonate or citric acid solutions. Experimentalresults show that the system successfully maintains watertemperature at 30 °C and pH within the optimal range of 6.8–7.8. Furthermore, growth trials over 14 days indicate that theaquarium with the control system achieved an average SpecificGrowth Rate (SGR) of 2.561%, compared to 1.415% in theuncontrolled group. These results demonstrate that the smartsystem significantly enhances fish growth efficiency byensuring stable environmental parameters and accuratefeeding schedules.Keywords - Smart aquarium, IoT, Snakehead fish

Abstract

In recent years, technology in the telecommunications sector has developed rapidly, especially with the global situation encouraging the use of long-distance communications. One of these developments is the use of the Raspberry Pi, abbreviated as Raspi, as a substitute for conventional computers for receiving and transmitting FM radio signals. Raspberry Pi is a mini and portable computer that can be used as an alternative to conventional computers in general, such as the use of teleconference media, offices, Big Data, and as a video player with high resolution. The problem in using a computer as an FM radio signal transceiver system is its complex and expensive infrastructure. When compared to the Raspberry Pi 3 with a price range of IDR 500,000 - IDR 1,000,000, a transceiver system using conventional computers requires a computer in general at a price far exceeding the said price. Using Raspi makes it easy to transmit FM radio signals by simply coding through the Raspi terminal. In this study, the authors propose a transmitter system using a Raspberry Pi 3B+ which is connected to a dipole antenna at a working frequency of 100 – 101 MHz. Raspi is operated using the SSH protocol for remote desktops. The operating system used is Raspberry Pi OS with the use of a MAC computer (MAC OS) as a remote desktop. The results show that the Raspberry Pi device can be used to transmit FM radio signals at a frequency of 100 - 101 MHz. The dipole antenna tested using VNA (Vector Network Analyzer) with a length of 71 cm and a linear form can transmit a signal with a VSWR of 1.08 - 1.95:1 at a working frequency of 94.9 - 103.06 MHz and a return loss of -28.1 dBm at a frequency of 98.98 MHz.

Abstract

Kelangkaan dalam pengajuan sebuah saluran nirkabel (frekuensi) menjadi dilema untuk penyedia jasa maupun operator telekomunikasi. Teknologi radio kognitif memberikan solusi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan spektrum secara signifikan. Radio kognitif terdiri dari 4 siklus langkah yaitu penginderaan spektrum, pengelolaan spektrum, spektrum berbagi, dan mobilitas spektrum yang mana penginderaan spektrum merupakan langkah yang paling penting dan kompleks. Dalam penelitian ini telah dianalisis penginderaan spektrum dengan deteksi energi pada frekuensi 825MHz dengan lebar pita frekuensi 20MHz menggunakan GNU Radio dan USRP N210. Teknik penginderaan spektrum yang digunakan adalah deteksi energi. Seluruh percobaan dilakukan dalam GNU Radio Companion (GRC) dan setelah itu data phyton akan dianalisis secara eksternal (MATLAB). Data untuk 30 frame waktu yang berisi 1024 sampel setiap frame dianalisis. Akhirnya, untuk menemukan nilai threshold yang optimal, probabilitas false alarm (Pfa) telah terhitung dalam 30 frame waktu untuk 5 nilai threshold berbeda di -98 dB, -99dB, -100 dB, -101 dB, -102 dB. Nilai akhir yang dicari adalah nilai threshold dengan Pfa persis dibawah 5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang danmengimplementasikan alat uji kadar gula dan tingkatkeasaman pada minuman secara real-time berbasisteknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Sistem ini memanfaatkansensor kapasitif untuk menguji kadar gula menggunakanmetode regresi linier dan sensor pH 4502C untuk mengukurtingkat keasaman. Data hasil pengukuran diproses olehArduino Uno dan dikirim ke ESP32 untuk ditampilkanmelalui layar TFT 2.8 inci serta dikirim secara daring keplatform Blynk. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwasensor kapasitif memiliki akurasi sebesar 97.21% untuklarutan gula dan 97% pada minuman kemasan, sedangkansensor pH mencapai akurasi 98.32% dibandingkan denganpH meter digital. Sistem ini juga menunjukkan keandalandalam mengirimkan data secara stabil melalui jaringan WiFi. Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa sistem yang dirancangdapat digunakan sebagai alat uji kualitas minuman secaraefektif dan real-time.Kata Kunci: Sensor Kapasitif, Sensor pH, Kadar Gula
