Abstract

Risk management is a crucial aspect of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) implementation at PT X, which operates in the livestock sector. The implementation of risk management in this company remains limited and has not been effectively operationalized. This research aims to provide a foundational step and evaluation material to minimize workplace accidents. The method used in this study is HIRARC, which is effective and efficient in identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and controlling risks. PT X comprises several departments with both minor and major hazard potentials. This study focuses on the Milking Department, which is vital in milk production. The assessment was conducted by analyzing all existing processes and activities results show that low risk accounts for 75%, medium risk for 25%, and high risk for 0%. Risk control is implemented through a hierarchy of controls. The application of this hierarchy of controls can minimize the existing risk levels. Overall, the implementation of OHS at PT X has not been optimal and requires further improvements as a foundational step in OHS implementation and evaluation, as well as to meet the requirements for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) development.

Abstract

Etika memiliki posisi fundamental dalam pendidikan Islam, karena ia menjadi landasan pembentukan karakter, pengembangan intelektual, serta orientasi spiritual peserta didik. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komparatif pandangan Ibn Miskawayh dalam Tahdzīb al-Akhlāq dan Al-Ghazālī dalam Iḥyā’ ʿUlūm al-Dīn mengenai peran etika dalam pendidikan Islam. Ibn Miskawayh menekankan pendekatan rasional yang berakar pada filsafat Yunani, khususnya Aristotelianisme, dengan konsep keseimbangan antara potensi akal, amarah, dan syahwat sebagai dasar pembentukan akhlak. Pendidikan menurutnya diarahkan untuk melatih jiwa melalui pembiasaan dan pengendalian diri, sehingga menghasilkan individu yang berkepribadian seimbang serta mampu berkontribusi dalam kehidupan sosial. Sementara itu, Al-Ghazālī mengedepankan visi spiritual yang memadukan fikih, tasawuf, dan teologi. Etika dalam Iḥyā’ tidak hanya dipahami sebagai upaya rasional, tetapi juga sebagai proses tazkiyat al-nafs (penyucian jiwa) yang berorientasi pada kedekatan dengan Allah. Pendidikan baginya harus menumbuhkan keikhlasan, kesadaran ibadah, serta keseimbangan antara pengetahuan dan amal. Tujuan akhir pendidikan menurut Al-Ghazālī bukan sekadar kebahagiaan duniawi, melainkan kebahagiaan ukhrawi. Melalui perbandingan ini, terlihat bahwa pemikiran Ibn Miskawayh menawarkan dimensi rasional-filosofis yang relevan dengan pembinaan etika sosial, sementara Al-Ghazālī menghadirkan dimensi religius-spiritual yang menekankan keselamatan akhirat. Integrasi keduanya memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan konsep pendidikan Islam yang utuh, mencakup akal, moral, dan spiritualitas.

Abstract

This study examines the concept, implementation strategies, teacher roles, impacts, and challenges of Quran-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in shaping students’ religious character in the digital era. Employing a qualitative descriptive field study design, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with PAI teachers and school administrators, and document analysis. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model, comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that thematic and contextual Quran-based PAI learning enhances students’ spiritual awareness, moral values, religious discipline, and moderate religious attitudes. The integration of Quranic values influences not only cognitive understanding but also the internalization of moral and spiritual values reflected in students’ daily behavior, including their use of digital media. This study offers novelty by identifying adaptive strategies that position Quran-based PAI learning as an ethical filter for addressing moral challenges in the digital age. The findings contribute to Islamic education theory and highlight the importance of pedagogical reform through teacher role modeling, value habituation, and reflective learning practices.
