Abstract

The success of implementation of information system in an organization will supportthe organization in the process of achieving goals. Successful information system will support theorganization's day-to-day operations, so that problem can be resolved more quickly and easily. Theinformation system which has been developed and implemented is also necessary to measure thematurity level. Therefore, it can determine whether the implementation of information systemsmade in accordance with the goals of the organization. Measuring the success of informationsystems used the DeLone and McLean IS success model. To measure the maturity level ofinformation systems used COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and related Technology)frameworks that provides best practices for IT governance and control. The results of this analysiswill assist and support the IT team in order to develop and build information systems that better fitthe needs and goals of the organization.

Abstract

Using various applications needs more than one authentication or user and password to login. Users in BPPT found this problem on their network application. Implementation of Single Sign On can help users to use only one authentication for many applications. Therefore a research is conducted to design and implement Single Sign On system that simplify and facilitate the user's email account to access application. Data are collected from literature study, system observation, and interviews while the design uses Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method. The research results in a Single Sign On system that utilizez Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). In addition, Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) is managed in accordance with the needs of the institution. Single Sign On system designed runs well and is able to provide conveniences for the user to use the services of existing applications, as it provides a standard email address to the user's identity. It also helps administrators to perform control of users trying to login.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a deep understanding of technology of IVR (Interactive Voice Recognition) in OpenVXI based network using Asterisk, that help Sahid Jaya hotel to streamline communication with the guests, improving service and employee effectiveness. The methodology used is analysis which is through surveys, observation and interviews with the company and the design method by designing system from the existing needs analysis. The results obtained from this research is Communication System based in IVR OpenVXI can be applied to existing VoIP network, without disrupting the existing network. Some existing services can be supported with this system usage. Conclusions can be drawn is the use of IVR in the network using VoIP technology is the best solution to overcome the problems and needs of the hospitality which one of these is limited information guest cna get that can provided by non-operators and for support service improvement.

Abstract

Online learning has become a way to improve efficiency in the learning process without reducing the quality of learning itself. Colleges that run it hope that the program becomes an attraction for prospective students, especially those with limitation to follow the regular program. The goal of this research was to find out whether Binus Online Learning Program has any influence to the competitive advantage of Binus University. Data were compiled by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents consist of the students and lecturers on Binus Online Learning Program. This thesis is based on a quantitative methodology to gather and analyze the data to find out if they were any correlation between Online Learning Program and the competitive advantage of Binus University. It can be concluded that there are some positive and significant influences of Online Learning Program to the competitive advantage of Binus University. Therefore, promoting and developing Online Learning Program will increase the competitive advantage of Binus University, and cover the target market which regular programs do not.

Abstract

Along with the development of the company to run operations such as data communication and perform other transactions to relations and vice versa, PT Finroll just uses the public network such as sending email to their partners. Data information is not safe in public because it can be tapped or intercepted by unauthorized person. With the Virtual Private Network (VPN), PT Finroll can do business in secure environment to their partners. The methodologies used in this research are data collection that was started by surveying, interviewing, and analyzing the current network topology, performance and design requirements that support network design. From these results, PT Finroll can increase productivity and performance from competition in their business. In addition, with this research company has a better ability to increase their competitiveness in present and the future.

Abstract

Traditional food is essential in preserving cultural heritage and is a vital part of Indonesian cuisine. In this research, we implement a methodology to identify the traditional Indonesian food using machine learning algorithms supported by various segmentation methods. This research aims to provide an efficient and accurate approach to classifying traditional foods, which can contribute to promoting and preserving Indonesia's culinary heritage. To conduct this research, we conducted experiments on 34 types of conventional Indonesian food originating from various provinces in Indonesia. The analysis of food images involved several segmentation algorithms, including Sobel, Prewitt, Robert, Scharr, and Canny filters. After the segmentation process, we proceeded with feature extraction and classification using traditional machine learning algorithms such as the Random Forest algorithm, Decision Tree, and derivatives of the SVM algorithm. These algorithms aimed to recognize the 34 types of traditional food. After conducting several experiments, we found that Random Forest with Robert's segmentation method was the highest-performance algorithm. It produced extraordinarily accurate results on the test dataset, with an accuracy performance of 85.52%, recall of 84.63%, precision of 83.77%, and an f1 score of 82.49%. Additionally, the best-performing algorithms with execution time averaged less than 1 minute. Another experimental result showed that the Random Forest algorithm with the Canny operator achieved an accuracy of 81.51%, recall of 84.97%, precision of 86.8%, and an f1 score of 85.61% on the test dataset. Furthermore, the Random Forest algorithm with the Sobel operator achieved accuracy results of 78.4%, recall of 65.3%, precision of 62.3%, and an f1 score of 63.71%.  In the SVM algorithms derivative, the Sigmoid SVM combined with the Scharr operator achieved the highest performance in its category across all classification metrics. In conclusion, this research offers valuable insights into classifying traditional Indonesian dishes using traditional machine learning algorithms. Simultaneously, this research aims to promote the appropriate and effective preservation and recognition of traditional Indonesian food.
