Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a deep understanding of technology of IVR (Interactive Voice Recognition) in OpenVXI based network using Asterisk, that help Sahid Jaya hotel to streamline communication with the guests, improving service and employee effectiveness. The methodology used is analysis which is through surveys, observation and interviews with the company and the design method by designing system from the existing needs analysis. The results obtained from this research is Communication System based in IVR OpenVXI can be applied to existing VoIP network, without disrupting the existing network. Some existing services can be supported with this system usage. Conclusions can be drawn is the use of IVR in the network using VoIP technology is the best solution to overcome the problems and needs of the hospitality which one of these is limited information guest cna get that can provided by non-operators and for support service improvement.

Abstract

Sistem pengendalian yang baik diperlukan untuk memudahkan pengendalian dan meminimalisir biaya, sehingga terdapat kecenderungan untuk mengasumsikan kondisi desterministik untuk kemudian dioptimasi. Walaupun demikian, dalam kenyataan, ketidakpastian dan fluktuasi terkadang ditemukan dalam beberapa kasus. Oleh karena itu, kondisi probabilistik tersebut dapat didekati dengan penjadwalan deterministik dinamis. Salah satu contoh adalah produksi Perusahaan X yang bersifat kontinyu, namun kebutuhan bahan utilitynya mengalami fluktuasi. Berdasarkan metode ini, biaya inventori dapat dikurangi dibandingkan dengan pengendalian statis yang selama ini dilakukan.Good inventory control system is needed in order to make the control simple, but also to reduce cost. Hence there is intention to assume deterministic condition, and then optimize it. However, uncertainty and fluctuation is found in many cases. Hence, the probabilistic condition can be approached by dynamic deterministic schedule. One of the examples is production of Company X which considered as continuous, with material demand of utility has fluctuation. The application of this method has reduced the inventory cost.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a democratic nation, regularly holds elections to select legislative and executive members. The 2024 elections mark a significant moment, especially for Christians, who have a social responsibility to actively participate. This participation is crucial, as the election results will greatly impact the lives of the people and the nation. Hence, this community service initiative aims to increase Christian participation in the 2024 elections and raise awareness about their social responsibilities within the democratic context. The activity was held through a seminar at GKPB Fajar Pengharapan, Bandung, featuring speakers from diverse backgrounds. The methods used include presentations, discussions, and QA sessions, supported by descriptive qualitative data from various literature sources. The goal is to raise awareness among Christians about the importance of participating in the 2024 elections and understanding their social responsibilities. The education effort also targets first-time voters (millennials) to help them make informed voting decisions. This educational initiative stimulates awareness and commitment among Christians to actively participate in the 2024 elections. With a better understanding of their roles and social responsibilities, it is hoped that Christians will contribute to fair and honest elections and elect leaders capable of bringing positive change to Indonesia.Keywords: church; politics; social responsibility Christians; electionsAbstrak Indonesia sebagai negara demokrasi, rutin mengadakan pemilihan umum untuk memilih anggota legislatif dan eksekutif. Pemilu 2024 merupakan momentum penting, terutama bagi umat Kristen yang memiliki tanggung jawab sosial untuk berpartisipasi aktif. Partisipasi ini sangat penting mengingat hasil pemilu berdampak besar pada kehidupan masyarakat dan negara. Itulah pentingnya PkM ini untuk meningkatkan partisipasi umat Kristen dalam Pemilu 2024 dan memberikan pemahaman tentang tanggung jawab sosial mereka dalam konteks demokrasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan melalui sarasehan di GKPB Fajar Pengharapan, Bandung, dengan menghadirkan narasumber dari berbagai latar belakang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan tanya jawab, yang didukung oleh data kualitatif deskriptif dari berbagai literatur. Membangkitkan kesadaran umat Kristen tentang pentingnya partisipasi dalam Pemilu 2024 dan memahami tanggung jawab sosial mereka. Edukasi ini juga ditujukan untuk pemilih pemula (milenial) agar mereka dapat menggunakan hak pilih dengan bijaksana. Kegiatan edukasi ini merangsang kesadaran dan komitmen umat Kristen untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam Pemilu 2024. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang peran dan tanggung jawab sosial mereka, diharapkan umat Kristen dapat berkontribusi dalam pemilu yang jujur dan adil, serta memilih pemimpin yang mampu membawa perubahan positif bagi bangsa Indonesia.Kata Kunci: gereja; politik; tanggung jawab sosial; umat Kristen; pemilu

Abstract

Abstract Ruang Kita” is a program that has been designed with the aim of allowing millennials to enjoy themselves while obtaining a space where they can find self motivation and inspiration in this podcast program which has been packaged with a casual and educative conversation. The “Ruang Kita” podcast consists of 3 episodes. The first episode is titled Becoming a Content Creator for a Better Living which discusses the struggle of Rahel Tama, a college student who is currently building her career as a content creator.Second episode is titled From Passion to Career, which discussed the story of Kelvin Christian who is very passionate about his hobby in the coffee industry.Finally, the last episode is titled Starting a Business Successfully with Best Friend, which discussed the story of two best friends, Mufti and Miqdad in their Betta Fish Business together. This non thesis work uses New Media Theory which explains that the communication message is focused and easy to be channelled through the internet technology and involves the audience to increase the interaction and communication process. “Ruang Kita” will be uploaded to Spotify and Youtube as the main platform.

Abstract

Abstract: This article focuses on how Christian ethics serves as a guide for the morality of the congregation amidst the AI era, which can trap everyone in deviant behavior due to digital algorithms that do not distinguish between right and wrong information. Based on these fundamental principles, this topic is examined by the researcher by posing questions such as: What are the foundations of Christian ethics in dealing with technology? Through a methodological literature approach that emphasizes critical analysis of theological literature, this method was chosen because theological-ethical research does not rely solely on empirical experiments, but rather on conceptual reflection and hermeneutical analysis of biblical texts, as well as contemporary research findings on AI and ethics. The findings of this study reveal that the fundamental principle of Christian ethics is rooted in the understanding that all human actions, including the use of technology, must reflect wisdom derived from God. Therefore, the church cannot be a passive observer of technological developments but must be a critical prophetic voice against the misuse of AI that threatens human dignity. Because, in essence, the prophetic voice of the church is calling for the restoration of integrity and honesty in the digital space.   Abstrak: Artikel ini berfokus pada bagaimana etika Kristen menjadi panduan bagi moralitas jemaat ditengah era zaman AI yang dapat membuat setiap orang terjebak pada perilaku penyimpangan karena algoritma digital yang tidak memandang benar atau tidaknya sebuah informasi. Atas dasariah itulah maka topik ini dikaji oleh peneliti dengan mengajukan rumusan pertanyaan seperti apa dasar etika Kristen dalam menyikapi digital? Melalui pendekatan metodologis literatur yang menekankan pada telaah kritis terhadap literatur teologis, metode ini dipilih karena penelitian teologis-etis tidak bertumpu pada eksperimen empiris semata, melainkan pada refleksi konseptual dan analisis hermeneutis terhadap teks-teks Alkitab, serta hasil penelitian kontemporer tentang AI dan etika. Hasil temuan kajian ini mengungkapkan bahwa prinsip dasar etika Kristen berakar pada pemahaman bahwa seluruh tindakan manusia, termasuk dalam menggunakan digital, harus mencerminkan hikmat yang berasal dari Allah. Oleh sebab itu, gereja tidak boleh hanya menjadi pengamat pasif terhadap perkembangan digital, tetapi harus menjadi suara kenabian yang kritis terhadap penyalahgunaan AI yang mengancam martabat manusia. Karena sejatinya, suara profetis gereja adalah menyerukan pemulihan integritas dan kejujuran dalam ruang digital.
