Abstract

Tanning industry has tanned hide raw material to finish leather. In the activities concerned sum of machineries cause noisy research in the production room shown between 72-86 dBA range, that’s mean lower noisy level on several groups of tanning industries are still agree with regulation concerned (≥ 85 dBA). While several groups of tanning industries have higher noisy level compared by regulation concerned. It should be managed by perfect gas installation for reducing gas pollutant. The result of the noisy research on the ambient environmental’s tanning industries show between 41-46 dBA. It’s still agree with regulation concerned (≥ 70 dBA). INTISARI Industri penyamakan kulit merupakan kegiatan industri yang mengolah bahan mentah menjadi kulit jadi. Didalam proses kegiatannya menggunakan sejumlah mesin yang menimbulkan kebisingan. Dari hasil penelitian kebisingan diperoleh data tingkat kebisingan di ruang proses produksi sebesar 72-86 dBA, hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada beberapa industri tingkat bising pada range yang relatif rendah dan masih memenuhi persyaratan yang ditentukan sebesar ≥ 85 dBA, sedangkan untuk beberapa industri yang lain tingkat bising sudah pada range yang tinggi, yaitu sudah melebihi nilai ambang batas, sehingga perlu diupayakan pengendaliannya agar tingkat bising dapat ditekan atau dikurangi sehingga memenuhi nilai ambang batas. Sedangkan hasil penelitian tingkat bising diluar pabrik industri penyamakan kulit, diperoleh data berkisar antara 41-46 dBA. Hasil ini masih memenuhi persyaratan baku mutu kebisingan untuk lingkungan sebesar ≥ 70 dBA.

Abstract

A composite made from the flexsible plastic waste and saw dust was studied. The objectives of this research was to find the optimum ratio of the flexible plastic waste and saw dust in its application on a floor tile. The investigated ratio of flexible plastic waste / saw dust were 100/0; 90/10; 80/20; 70/30; 60/40; and 50/50 respectively. The composites were prepared on a rheocord-90 machine at 600C for 10 minutes. The composites were tested for their physical properties I, e flexibility, dimensional stability, curling, volatility, tensile strength, elongation at break, and hardness. The physical properties testing result show that a composite by using the flexible plastic waste and saw dust in comparation of 90/10 could meet the requirements of SNI 03/4060/1996 for Vinyl Floor. The increasing saw dust content in composites decreased tensile strength, elongation at break, flexibility, and hardness, but increased dimensional stability, and volatility. Tensile strength of all composites was higher than particle board.   Keywords : composites, flexible plastic waste, saw dust, floor tile.

Abstract

Appied research rubber sole for canvas shoes sport of industry have observed of properties abrasion resistance and hardness with perform research on the process to shape sole in industry with variation time of 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 minutes and pressure of 145, 150, 155 kg/cm2 on temperature 150’C on the result 15 variation soles, until of result properties abrasion resistance = 0.1410 mm3/kgm and hardness = 70 shore A to shape with variation pressure 150 kg/cm2, time 6 minute and temperature 150’C ti fill means SNI 0171-1987 A : Canvas Shoes with Rubber Sole for Sport. INTISARI Penelitian penerapan sol karet sepatu kanvas untuk olah raga pada industry ditinjau dari sifat ketahanan kikis dan kekerasan dilakukan penelitian dengan proses pencetakan sol di industry dengan variasi waktu pencetakan sol 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 menit dan tekanan 145, 150, 155 kg/cm pada suhu 150’C diperoleh 15 variasi sol cetak, sehingga dari hasil penelitian diperoleh sifat ketahanan kikis = 0.1410 mm3/kgm dan kekerasan = 70 shore A dicetak dengan variasi tekanan 150 kg/cm, waktu 6 menit dan suhu 150’C memenuhi persyaratan SNI 0171-1987 A : Sepatu Kanvas dengan Sol Karet untuk Olah Raga.

Abstract

13 (thirteen) samples of Rubber hospital shetting of various trademark which were taken from manufacturers and markets in Bandung, Yogyakarta and Surabaya, had been tested for the purpose of this research. Quality of rubber hospital sheeting is determined by factors that onsure either the strength or wearm by testing them in accorfance with test method as described in ASTM.It could be found from the test results that : the thickness was 0,406 0,506 mm, breaking strength 54,47 – 77,85 kg/cm2. Elongation ata break 99,8% -147,8%.The rubber hospital sheeting was also subjected to hyfrostatic water resistance test and no leakange was accured.It had good steam strikization, accelerated Aging, phenol and alcohol resistance aw well. INTISARI Dalam penelitian ini telah diuji 13 sample perlak karet untuk rumah sakit dari berbagai merk yang diambil langsung dari pabrik maupun pasaran di darah Bandung, DI Yogyakarta dan Surabaya.Mutu perlak karet untuk rumah sakit ditentukan berdasarkan pada factor-faktor yang menajmin menutut ASTM. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut tebal 0.406 – 0.506 mm, tegangan putus 54.48 77.85 Kg/cm2, pepanjang putus 99.8 – 147,8 %. Pelak karet yang diuji tidak tembus air dalam pengujian hydrostatic water resistance, juga mempunyai ketahanan terhadap sterilisasi uap, ketahanan terhadap penguasangan, ketahanan terhadap ketahanan terhadap alkokol yang baik.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out process of production and the relation between cost, sell price and percentage of break even point. Production of capacity planned is 43.200 bottles perday, so that in a year with 288 workday, capacity produced is 12.400.000 bottles. The economical calculation are as follows the total capital is fixed capital + working capital - Rp. 1.489.200.308,00 ; the total production cost is variable cost a year + fixed cost a year = Rp.3.532.949.829,00;. The manufacturing cost = Rp. 285,00 / bottle, the profit calculation before taxing is Rp. 466.230.171,00 and after taxing is Rp. 372.984.136, the pay out period calculation consist of the percentage of profit to return the capital (rate of return) before taxing is 31.30%, after taxing is 25.04% and the pay out period before taxing 2 year 11 months, after taxing 3 year 7 months ; the break even calculation consist of break even point is Rp. 1.988.929.421,00; the percentage of break even point is 49,73% and the capacity of break even point is 6.166.25O bottles
