Background: Preeclampsia is a crucial problem in developing country and contributes 9% of maternal mortality in Asia. Moreover it has been the second main cause of maternal death in Indonesia and the leading cause of maternal death in Central Java since 2019.Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between age, parity and BMI in pregnant women with the incidence of preeclampsia. Methods: This study is a retrospective analytic observational study with a case control design. The research subjects were all cases of vaginal delivery and cesarean section from July to December 2022.Results: There were 200 women as subjects consisting of 100 women with preeclampsia and 100 women without preeclampsia. Most of the research subjects were aged <35 years (71.5%). It was found that preeclampsia was significantly associated with age ≥35 years (p=0.019), BMI ≥30 (p=0.008) and primiparity (p=0.006). On bivariate analysis, women with age ≥35 years (OR 2.1; 95% CI; 1.12-3.97), BMI ≥30 (OR 2.4; 95% CI; 1.25-4.87) and primiparity (OR 2.2; 95% CI; 1.2- 3.92) are at increased risk of developing preeclampsia. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that age ≥ 35 years, BMI ≥30 and primiparity are associated with the occurrence of preeclampsia.

This research was conducted in March 2023, located in Koneng Beach, Dumai City. The purpose of this study was to determine the organic matter content and abundance of epipelic diatoms vertically and to analyze the relationship between the organic matter content in sediments and the abundance of epipelic diatoms vertically in the intertidal area of Dumai City Waters. The method used is the survey method. The sampling point is determined using a purposive sampling method. Sampling of epipelic diatoms was carried out using a modified corer, which was then brought to the laboratory to identify and calculate the abundance of diatoms and the sediment samples to calculate the content of organic matter and sediment fractions. Water quality measurements accompanied sampling with a brightness value of 0.57 m, temperature of 33 °C, current speed of 0.33 m/s, salinity of 28 ppt, and pH of 8.13. The results of the analysis of organic matter are 2.55 – 13.38%. The results of the sediment fraction analysis show that the research location is dominated by sandy silt. Nineteen genera of epipelic diatoms were found in the waters of Koneng Beach, Dumai City, with abundance values between 5,291–39,983 ind/cm2. The one-way ANOVA test results obtained an average value of 0.000, meaning there is a significant difference in the abundance of epipelic diatoms between the sediment layers. The results of the linear regression test showed that the effect of sediment organic matter on the abundance of epipelic diatoms was 50.85%.

This research is motivated by the importance of architecture as a representation of the cultural and religious identity of the community. The Blessed Dionysius Sumbul Catholic Church is unique because it adopts the form of a traditional Pakpak house as a form of inculturation between the Catholic faith and local culture. This research aims to describe the history of the church's construction, analyze its architectural elements, and examine its functions and symbolic meanings related to the cultural and religious identity of the Pakpak people. The method used is the historical method with the stages of heuristics, verification (source criticism), interpretation, and historiography. Data collection was carried out through literature studies, observations, interviews, and documentation, using primary and secondary sources. The results of the study show that the Blessed Dionysius Sumbul Catholic Church adapts the concept of a traditional Pakpak house which is reflected in the building's form, pillar structure, roof, ornaments, spatial layout, and liturgical elements such as the altar, tabernacle, and Stations of the Cross. These elements not only function structurally and liturgically, but also contain symbolic meanings related to the cosmology, social values, and beliefs of the Pakpak people, thus reflecting the process of inculturation between Catholic teachings and local culture. It is concluded that the architecture of this church represents a harmonious integration of Pakpak culture and the Catholic faith. This research has implications for the importance of preserving local culture through religious architecture as a means of strengthening community identity amidst modernization.
