Abstract

This research aim is about Performance Appraisal at PDAM (Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum) Kabupaten Semarang. Before this research, employees was not satisfied with performance appraisal that already in use on their company because it is doubtable not objectives, there is no feedback and it cannot use for employees improvement. Performance Appraisal Based on Competencies and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) is designed to increase objectivity of performance appraisal and to maximizing the purpose of performance appraisal itself. Performance Appraisal Based on Competencies and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) is simulated to Branch Manager level and Head of Customer Care Division. This research is qualitative research by objective interview and focus group discussion to collect the datas. The result is shows that reliability, relevance, sensitivity and practicality aspect of performance appraisal based on competencies and KPI is better than performance appraisal that already in use in this company

Abstract

This study is conducted in order to compile performance appraisal for printing machine operators at PT Trisakti Mustika Graphika, Security Printing Division. This compilation is needed by the company because the older performance appraisal was deemed not to satisfy the operators’ sense of fairness – many the operators felt being unfairly assessed under the older performance appraisal. Therefore, the objective of this research is to formulate a new performance appraisal based on Behavior Anchored Rating Scales (BARS) that can restore the operator’s fairness perception of performance appraisal.This research utilized one group pretest posttest experiment design. The performance appraisal system was created by the author based on the company’s data. The result is From the study, it was found that the new performance appraisal did not significantly increase the operator’s fairness perception of performance appraisal. Although its effect on operator’s fairness perception is not significant, there were some signs that show the starting of the operator’s positive perception with the new performance appraisal

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Individual Coaching Program dengan menggunakan metode GROW sebagi kerangka berpikir dapat meningkatkan kompetensi coaching Kepala Sub Bagian Personalia PDAM Tirta Bumi Serasi Kabupaten Semarang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian subyek tunggal, dengan desain A-B-A. Pengumpulan data penelitian dengan menggunakan skala penguasaan kompetensi coaching yang diadaptasi dari Coaching Skills Proficiency Survey. Sedangkan analisis datanya dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Indvidual coaching program dilakukan sebanyak 7 sesi selama 7 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Individual Coaching Program dengan metode GROW dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kompetensi coaching pada Kepala Sub Bagian Personalia PDAM Tirta Bumi Serasi Kabupaten Semarang
