Abstract

Pedestrian is part of urban elements that have a significant role in forming a city. In the pedestrian, social interactions will be created which further strengthen relations between elements in the city. Cities in Europe are the best examples of city pedestrian planning. There walking is more comfortable and enjoyable, with the city being created by the streetscape and the humanist city order. Whereas in cities in developing countries like Jakarta, the city planning has not accommodated pedestrians at all.               The design of the city of Jakarta which is not humanist seems to urge pedestrians and force everyone to ride a car. The pedestrian paths provided are always side by side with the road and the volume is insufficient for those who pass it.               It can be concluded that the existing pedestrian conditions are unsafe and very uncomfortable. Examples of such cases can be seen along Jalan Sudirman and M.H. Thamrin which has always been the icon of the Jakarta office area. Where along these linear and continuous paths, pedestrians are forced to walk unprotected and face the pollution produced by vehicles. The lack of good pedestrian planning in this area has resulted in pedestrians preferring to use vehicles. Finally, each person is increasingly individualistic because there is no social interaction and the realization of a city that is not humanist too.

Abstract

Abstract

The Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers states that a teacher must have four competencies, namely pedagogical competence, personality, social and professional competences. A teacher is expected to pay attention to the material, strategy, technology or surrounding culture in helping to realize active, creative, fun and meaningful learning. One of the uses of ICT in education is needed as an effort to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process. However, there are many obstacles faced in its application, including a lack of teacher understanding of technology. Technological Pedagogical And Content Knowledge (TPACK) is a framework that describes the knowledge needed by teachers to integrate technology in designing, implementing and evaluating learning. This study aims to determine the level of understanding of the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge of students of the Architectural Engineering Education Study Program who are also prospective teachers. The research method used is descriptive evaluative with a quantitative approach. Retrieval of data using a survey method of 35 respondents from students of the Architectural Engineering Education Study Program who have been and are currently participating in the Field Experience Program at Vocational High Schools in various regions in West Java. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire where each statement was based on each TPACK component. The results showed that the average level of understanding of Architectural Engineering students towards TPACK was in the good category. The highest value is in the aspect of Technology Knowledge (TK), which is knowledge about technology with a very high category.

Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of potential for nature tourism in the form of mountains, sea, and beaches. This is also an attraction for tourists to make Indonesia as the preferred natural tourist destination when on vacation. Especially West Java, West Java is one of the provinces that are in great demand by local and outside tourists.Besides being famous for its local culture and its unique culinary variety, West Java is also known for its cool air, especially in some parts that are still preserved in nature, the natural potential that is still good and is maintained as an attraction for West Java to attract tourists. One of the famous areas in the city of Bandung which is a tourist destination is the Lembang Region. From the last five years the lodging area in Lembang has increased, currently in Lembang sub-district itself has 13 lodging units in the form of resorts. The amount itself is influenced by the high demand for lodging accommodation especially when the holiday season arrives. But of that number, resorts that have complete and well-maintained facilities and conditions are still not completely even. Based on this fact, the purpose of designing this resort is expected to be the best tourist area in the region to be able to adjust to the conditions of the land conditions, be able to use and not damage the existing land on the design land. The study used in this design is based on the description that occurs today with the support of the literature that supports the theory and analysis that is done. Implementation analysis was carried out using macro and microanalysis methods. Macro analysis is an analysis on a regional scale. While microanalysis is an analysis of the design site, which includes activity analysis, function analysis, space analysis, site analysis, shape analysis, and display and structural analysis and utility. The concept of site and building in this design will produce a conceptual relationship that will later become a guideline in making a design. This concept includes the proposed concept of site design, form, structure, and utility.

Abstract

A disease similar to pneumonia emerged in late December 2019 in Wuhan, China. An illness caused by a virus that spreads rapidly until 66% of workers at the fish market get infected. WHO declared that the plague caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus was a global pandemic on March 11, 2020. The government decided to restrict the activities held in public places, including closing schools and holding distance learning during the pandemic. Reopening schools has to be aware of a few things because this virus can spread directly or indirectly (the objects that are contaminated or airborne). To minimize the virus spread, the thermal condition and lightning in the classroom have to be according to the standards. This research uses evaluative research with a qualitative approach. The evaluative research is used to investigate the compatibility of the drawing studio with the regulation of facilities and infrastructures is Permendikbud No. 34 Tahun 2018 and guidelines to school reopening during Covid-19 pandemic according to PAUDDIKDASMEN also for thermal, lightning comfort are according to ASHRAE and SNI. The outcomes of this research are both the infrastructures also the facilities haven't reached the standard yet. However, some of the facilities are already compatible with the regulation.  The reopening plan for the drawing studio needs some changes, including limiting the students in the classroom, reorganizing the drawing desk within 1,5 m distance, confirming there are cleaning schedules for the studio by disinfecting the whole classroom, and also wiping the surface touched by the pupils. Thermal and lighting conditions are still haven't reached the standard yet. However, the humidity in the drawing studio is already compatible with the regulation. Keywords: Drawing studio evaluation; Covid-19 Pandemic; Thermal and Visual Comfort.
