Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the comparison value between e/m of electrons in the use of CRO television tube and use to examine the quality of the experimental method that was is by comparing the experimental method from J. J. Thomson. This research regarded as an experimental method, conducted by measuring the different of light points on the screen television tube to get the radius of electron motion. The data interpreted into a graph to a quaeter radius of current on the coil magnetic field Helmohltz I (amperes). This graph is used to find e/m value of electron and the result is:

Abstract

A program of community service has been implemented, with a focus on designing and producing low-cost, easily-assembled solar panels for the Opak-Grembyangan Madurejo Pramabanan village community. Creation of solar panel lighting systems that are practical to use and are capable of producing up to 100 Watts of electricity. The actions taken serve to introduce people to renewable energy sources, educate them about it, and help with solar panel lighting for the master plan area for village tourism development. Village communities may be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to create solar panel lights independently and for mass production after receiving continual mentoring and training. Alternative energy management is a more broad goal to be able to lessen reliance on fossil fuels and create a green tourism sector.

Abstract

Telah dirancang dan bangun alat sistem pompa air tenaga surya skala kecil yang merupakan rangkaian yang memanfaatkan energi surya sebagai sumber listrik untuk menggerakkan pompa air. Adapun tujuan dari perancangan alat ini adalah untuk mengatasi solusi air yang ada di masyarakat,sehingga tidak perlu berjalan kaki lagi menuju sumber air guna memenuhi kebutuhan air harian dan juga mengatasi listrik PLN yang belum masuk di daerah mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 macam metode penelitian, yaitu dengan menggunakan catu daya yang sumber listriknya berasal dari PLN dan menggunakan panel surya untuk menghasilkan listrik dari cahaya matahari. Pada catu daya, diukur volume air dengan mengatur voltase mulai dari 12 V, 10 V, 8 V, dan 6 V dengan ketinggian 2 m, 1m, 0.5 m, dan 0 m selama 30 menituntuk masing-masing ketinggian. Untuk panel surya diperlukan alat tambahan yaitu stepdown controller yang mengatur voltase input dari panel surya agar sesuai dengan kapasitas pompa. Hasil penelitian yang dihasilkan adalah pada catu daya volume air yang dihasilkan meningkat dari ketinggian 2 m sampai 0 meter sedangkan pada panel surya volume air yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan keadaan cuaca.

Abstract

This study aims to compare dryers for cocoa beans. The comparison carried out is a comparison of tools, moisture content, mass, quality of beans, and the time required by each tool in drying. The drying tools used are traditional solar cabinet dryers and solar tunnel dryers. Conventional drying uses direct sun contact on cocoa beans, and solar tunnel dryer uses two types to dry cocoa beans: hot air absorbed by solar collectors and direct sun. In contrast, solar cabinet dryer uses hot air absorbed by solar collectors and driven by fans in the drying room. The research was carried out from 09.00 until 16.00 in 31/2 hours, so in a day, there are three observation data for each research tool. To the research results, the time required for each tool is different, the solar cabinet dryer tool takes four days, and the solar tunnel dryer traditionally takes three days to dry cocoa beans; drying is done 7 hours a day. The highest ambient temperature is up to 36.3oC, the temperature entering the drying chamber for the solar cabinet dryer is up to 54.2oC, and the solar tunnel dryer is up to 51oC. With a mass of 1.5 kg of material dried to 0.50 kilograms, leaving a moisture content of 12%.

Abstract

Sendangtirto Village is located in Kapanewon Berbah, Sleman D.I. Regency. Yogyakarta has an artificial reservoir/lake. The main objective of building a reservoir is to provide a conservation area and irrigation of rice fields. The existence of harvest sales activities through an auction system and the construction of joglos and gazebos around the embung, make the Sendangtirto embung worthy of becoming a tourist destination. Currently, the existence of the embung is not yet known to the wider public, besides that the public facilities available are still minimal. The PKM team took the title "Implementation of a Solar Charging Station and Digitalization of the Harvest Auction System to Increase the Number of Visitors at Embung Sendangtirto" and hoped to be able to overcome this problem. The Solar Charging Station was chosen because it uses renewable energy sources, is environmentally friendly and economical. The design is simple and easy to implement and operate. Meanwhile, to overcome the problem of the number of visitors, training and assistance will be provided in creating content on social media as a means of promotion. In addition, there is a need to create a digital harvest auction recording system. Through this PkM activity, it is hoped that it can provide education on the use of renewable energy for the community, increase horticulture sales from farmers and increase the number of visitors at the Sendangtirto reservoir.

Abstract

Alat ini merupakan alat untuk mengukur radiasi matahari dengan satuan w/m2alat ini sudah terkalibrasi dengan solar sell yang sudah terkalibrasi dari Jerman, dengan nilai hasil kalibrasi sebesar 18,09211 w/mA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untukmembuat sistem pengukuran intensitas sinar matahari berdasarkan mikrokontrolerATMEGA128 dengan mengunakan sensor solar sell. Pada rancangan hardware digunakan ATMega128 sebagai otak dari sistem, kemudian dilengkapi dengan LCD character 16x2 sebagai penampil data. Untuk menyimpan data pengukuran, digunakan modul MMC yang memiliki fungsi sebagai data logger. RTC (Real Time Clock) dengan seri IC DS1307 digunakan agar dapat mengetahui waktu secara nyata dan valid. Untuk mengatur sistem, dilengkapi keypad matrix 3x4 yang dihubungkan dengan mikrokontroler. Masukan dari sensor dihubungkan dengan port analog pada ATMega128. Dengan Sistem ini diharapkan dapat untuk mengukur intensitas cahaya matahari tiap waktunya dengan kinerja dan desainyang baik. kinerja sistem ini terdiri dari power supply, sensor solar sell, mikrokontrolerATMEGA128, dan LCD. Maka waktu pengukuran, tegangan, I(arus) dan radiasi matahari tiap waktunya akan tersimpan di dalam memory card yang tersedia dalam sistim. Hasil dari penelitian pada tanggal 13 juni 2013 dengan menggunakan alat ini telah mengukur besar radiasi matahari dengan baik sebesar E=4.1 kwm-2. Jika dibandingkan dengan data referensi rata-rata besar radiasi matahari di jogjakarta yaitu 4.5 kwm-2, maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa alat ini sudah baik untuk mengukur radiasi matahari.

Abstract

Alat otomatisasi buka tutup katup solar dryer berdasarkan nilai kelembaban yang dibaca dari sensor telah berhasil dibuat. Sensor pengukuran dikalibrasi dengan membandingkan nilai pada alat ukur standar (klimaloggpro) dengan nilai toleransi ukur suhu 1°C kelembaban 3%.  Rancangan hardware menggunakan kotak kayu dengan saklar buka tutup, arduino uno sebagai pengatur buka tutup dihubungkan dengan komputer dan sensor suhu dan kelembaban DHT22 sebagai sumber data pengukuran. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tiga sistem solar dryer yaitu sistem tertutup, sistem terbuka dan sistem buka tutup. Sistem buka tutup diatur berdasarkan nilai kelembaban (%) yang dibaca di ruang pengering. Jika membandingkan ketiga sistem pengukuran yaitu sistem terbuka, sistem tertutup dan sistem buka tutup, sistem terbuka lebih baik dibanding sistem buka tutup dan sistem tertutup. Sistem terbuka dapat mengurangi massa air sebanyak 380 gram, sistem tertutup 229 gram, sistem buka tutup 337gram dengan nilai buka tutup 65%-90%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Dusun Mutihan, yang terletak di Kelurahan Madurejo, Kecamatan Prambanan, memiliki lahan sawah seluas 12 hektar yang dikelola oleh kelompok tani “Eko Mulyo.” Namun, para petani menghadapi kendala serius dalam pengelolaan air karena saluran irigasi sepanjang 250 meter yang digunakan untuk mengairi sawah masih berupa tanah. Kondisi talud tanah ini menyebabkan banyak air bocor dan meresap, sehingga beberapa sawah tidak mendapatkan pengairan yang memadai. Selain itu, petani juga sangat bergantung pada pupuk kimia dan pestisida anorganik, sementara subsidi pupuk dari pemerintah mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2023 sebesar 50%. Setiap 1000 meter persegi lahan, petani hanya mendapatkan 10 kg urea dan ponska, turun dari 20 kg di tahun sebelumnya. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, Tim PKM memberikan bantuan berupa pembangunan talud irigasi dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik. Fokus kegiatan dimulai dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) bersama kelompok tani "Eko Mulyo" untuk membahas teknik pembangunan talud dan pemanfaatan bahan organik lokal. Hasilnya, talud cor beton berbentuk U berhasil dibangun sepanjang 60 meter, tanpa kebocoran air selama uji coba. Pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik juga dilaksanakan, dan evaluasi serta pendampingan akan dilakukan setelah proyek selesai.Abstract:  Mutihan Hamlet, located in Madurejo Village, Prambanan Subdistrict, has 12 hectares of rice fields managed by the farmer group “Eko Mulyo”. However, the farmers face serious constraints in water management because the 250-meter-long irrigation canal used to irrigate the rice fields is still earthen. The condition of this earthen embankment causes a lot of water to leak and seep through, resulting in some rice fields not getting adequate irrigation. In addition, farmers are also highly dependent on chemical fertilizers and inorganic pesticides, while fertilizer subsidies from the government have decreased by 50% in 2023. For every 1000 square meters of land, farmers only get 10 kg of urea and ponska, down from 20 kg in the previous year. To overcome this problem, the PKM Team provided assistance in the form of irrigation talud construction and training in making organic fertilizer. The focus of the activity began with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the “Eko Mulyo” farmer group to discuss the construction techniques of the embankment and the utilization of local organic materials. As a result, a 60-meter-long U-shaped cast-concrete embankment was successfully constructed, with no water leakage during the trial. Training on organic fertilizer production was also conducted, and evaluation and mentoring will be conducted after the project is completed.

Abstract

The "Eko Mulyo" Madurejo Prambanan Sleman farming group has 12 hectares of dry rice fields. Farmers who are economically well off usually build drilled wells and use generators for irrigation during the dry season, while less well off farmers only use existing irrigation. Water quotas sometimes do not reach the land. As a result, rice production decreases during the long dry season. To overcome this problem, a solar water pump was installed. Solar water pump components include a solar module to convert solar radiation into electrical energy, a pump controller to control the pump and a submersible water pump to pump groundwater to the surface. Solar pump systems can be monitored in real time using a pump scanner installed on a smartphone. The results of the monitoring system were a water discharge of 1.5-1.6 m3/hour with the total water pumped over 8 days was 91.8 m3 and the total energy produced was 0.85 kWh. The advantages of using solar pump were more economical and efficient in pumping water because it uses renewable energy

Abstract

Social media has become an important tool for people to express their opinions about various institutions, including universities. This research aims to analyze Universitas Kristen Immanuel (UKRIM) using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) classification method. Data collected from social media through web scraping was processed through several preprocessing stages such as data cleaning, tokenization, and stopword removal. One of the main challenges in this study is class imbalance, which was addressed using two techniques: Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) and Generative Adversarial Network (GAN). SMOTE was used to oversample the minority class, while GAN was utilized to generate artificial data that resembles real input. Feature extraction was carried out using the Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformers (BERT) model, and classification was performed using SVM. The evaluation results of the experiments show that the use of GAN to create artificial data and SMOTE to balance the classes in the data improves the classification model performance, as the SVM model can effectively distinguish negative, neutral, and positive sentiments.
