Abstract

The analysis research of borax contaminant in cilok using high power UV-LED fluorescence spectroscopy system was successfully done. This study aimed to analyze borax in cilok using a high power UV-LED fluorescence spectroscopy system and to determine its precision and detection limits. The stages of research of borax contaminant in cilok was carried out by preparing tools and materials, sampling, data collection, and data processing. Testing of detection limit was carried out with a variety of borax contaminants of 0% - 40% from 20 grams of cilokandprecisiontestingwasdonebyrepeatingthetestofeachvariation5times. TheresultsshowedthathighpowerUV-LEDfluorescencespectroscopysystemwas used successfully in analyzing cilok contaminated with borax. In addition, the test results showed that the system has precision of 100% and detection limit of2.6%.

Abstract

Safe is a tool used to store goods or assets and securities. Generally, a safe uses an analog lock made of metal and a rotary combination lock as a security system. However, the existing safe is not equipped with an information system that will notify the owner when the safe is accessed. This research was developed a safe security system using a digital key in e-KTP form which is detected by RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) sensor and the system was equipped with an information system based on nodeMCU ESP8266 to send notifications. The system designed consists of RC522 RFID module used to detect the e-KTP ID of the safe accesser. RFID connected to the nodeMCU platform which is an IoT device and connected to the cloud via wifi ESP8266. The information contained in the cloud from the IoT device and forwarded to the receiving smartphone as notification.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the discovery of white tofu preserved using formalin. This study aimed to analyze formalin contaminants in tofu and determine the precision and detection limits of a fluorescence spectroscopy system based on high power UV-LED. This research was conducted in three stages, namely making samples, collecting data, and processing data. The sample was made directly in the tofu factory with the owner and the object used in this study is white tofu which was given a variation of formalin contaminants 0%-50%. Data were collected using a set of fluorescence spectroscopy system based on high power UV-LED that is connected to software LabVIEW and each foreign formalin contaminant test in tofu used five samples with three repetitions for each sample. Data processing to obtain bin values for each a variation of formalin contaminant was carried out using Microsoft Excel, moreover to find a value of precision and a detection limit. Based on the result, a precision test result of 100% and a detection limit of 12.05%.

Abstract

Electronic nose (e-Nose) has successfully classified the aroma of horse hide and pigskin. The sensor used by e-Nose consists of eight Taguchi Gas Sensor (TGS) sensors. This study uses a baseline reduction and feature extraction method with an average maximum value. The classification results between the two skins are shown by a graph plot. There is one TGS which shows no difference between the smell of horse skin and pork rind. The other TGS responds and shows the difference between the two skin scents.

Abstract

Research on installation and evaluation of early warning systems based on the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and the Internet of Things (IoT) has been successfully carried out. This study aimed to install and evaluate a flood early warning system based on the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 and IoT at a flood monitoring post, Boyong River Yogyakarta. Installation of a flood early warning system based on the HC-SR04 and IoT ultrasonic sensor was carried out by preparing tools and materials, connecting WiFi, and installing the system. Evaluation accuracy of the system was carried out by varying the distance between the sensor and the water surface, namely 5 cm - 200 cm with 5 cm intervals, while testing of precision and success were done by 10 times repeating for each distance variation. The results showed that flood early warning system based on ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 and IoT has been successfully installed at the flood monitoring post, Boyong River Yogyakarta. In addition, the flood early warning system based on ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 and IoT was successfully evaluated with an accuracy value 99.95%, repeatability precision 98.75%, reproducibility 99.27%, and success 89.50%.

Abstract

A monitoring system for soil movement and moisture using MPU6050 accelerometer sensor and soil moisture sensor has been designed. Changes in acceleration and humidity around the sensor cause changes in the capacitance value of each sensor. The change in capacitance from each sensor is then processed by the microcontroller contained in the Arduino UNO R3 with the Arduino IDE programming language to produce acceleration and humidity data. Data is sent via Radio signal contained in the nRF24L01+ module every 1.2 seconds. The test results show a precision value for acceleration of 95.24% on the X axis, 95.11% on the Y axis, 99.86% on the Z axis and a precision value for humidity measurement of 100%. The test results show that the soil movement and moisture monitoring system can work well and the data sent via radio waves is successful and applicable.

Abstract

This study presents the design and development of a temperature control system for the chocolate tempering process using an RTD PT1000 sensor and an Arduino Uno microcontroller. Sensor characterization yielded a linear transfer function V = −0.0037T+3.4085V, with a strong correlation (r = −1.054), sensitivity of −0.0037 V/°C, and repeatability of 99.4%. The control system was programmed to maintain temperature within an optimal range by switching the heating element off above 53 °C and on below 40 °C. System testing across 10 cycles demonstrated a success rate of 97.7%, confirming the effectiveness and reliability of the system. The results suggest that the proposed solution can improve temperature stability and efficiency in small-scale chocolate processing applications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan wawasan Islam tentang menghindari pemborosan dalam merancang sistem pemantauan dan pengendalian gudang. Islam menekankan pentingnya menghindari perilaku pemborosan, khususnya dalam penggunaan sumber daya seperti bahan baku, energi, tenaga kerja, dan waktu. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Citra Sarungtangan Indonesia yang menghadapi masalah kerusakan bahan baku akibat kondisi penyimpanan yang tidak tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed-method, termasuk tinjauan pustaka dan pengembangan sistem berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang memanfaatkan sensor DHT22 dan NodeMCU ESP8266. Hasilnya adalah sistem otomatis yang memantau dan mengontrol suhu dan kelembaban gudang, yang dapat diakses melalui aplikasi IoT MQTT Panel. Implementasi sistem ini berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi penyimpanan dan mengurangi pemborosan bahan baku, sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam tentang menghindari pemborosan.
