Telah dibuat sistem deteksi daging ayam bangkai menggunakan sensor warna dan jaringan syaraf tiruan. Tujuan pembuatan sistem ini adalah untuk membantu masyarakat umum dalam mendeteksi daging ayam broiler bangkai. Sistem ini dibuat menggunakan sensor warna. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pembuatan perangkat keras, pembuatan perangkat lunak, dan pengujian sistem. Hasilnya, sistem dapat bekerja dengan baik terutama untuk mendeteksi sampel daging bagian dada, tepong, dan paha.

In Superiority is a constant effort to be better, to approach the purpose of what people want to achieve. People try hard not to be better, but to control. This study is aimed to find (1) the characters of Christian Grey, (2) the forms of expression of superiority from Christian Grey, and (3) the factors that influence the appearances of the superiority in Christian Grey. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative method in conducting the research. The sources of the data are taken from Fifty Shades trilogy. The researcher collects the data by reading the Fifty Shades trilogy one by one,marks down the dialogue and line in the novel, classifying the data that shows (1) the characters of Christian Grey, (2) the forms of expression of superiority from Christian Grey, and (3) the factors that influence the appearances of the superiority in Christian Grey, and makes sure that the finding is exactly right to answer the problem formulatio by referring back to the theory itself. The researcher found data that can answer the three of problem formulation. The first finding is the characters in Christian Grey. There are 12 characters that was found by the researcher in Christian Grey, they are self-confident, arrogant, bossy, romantic, caring, mysterious, selfish, generous, control freak, hotheaded, stubborn and kind-hearted. The second finding is such as Self-Confident, Arrogant, Bossy, Romantic, Caring, Mysterious, Selfish, Generous, Control Freak, Hotheaded, Stubborn and Kind-Hearted. The second finding is the form of expression of superiority from Christian Grey that can be seen in three forms, that are: Attitude, Thoughts, and Face Expression. The last finding, the researcher found the factors that influence the superiority in Christian Grey are: Dark Past Time. In the dark past time, the writer divided into three parts, such as: Tormented, Sexual Violence, and Poorness, (2) Succesful, (3) Wealth, (4) Power.Keywords: Superiority, Character, Characteristic

In movie industry, posters are one of the most powerful media and important to advertise something and deliver some information to the public. Posters contain two elements: verbal (script) and visual (visual art). The problem of this research are: (1) what are semiotic signs that found in To All The Boys trilogy movie posters and (2) how is significance displayed on the verbal and visual signs in To All The Boys trilogy movie posters. The aims of this research are to find out semiotic signs that exists on To All The Boys trilogy movie posters and to describe the significance that displayed on the verbal and visual signs in To All The Boys trilogy movie posters. This research uses qualitative method by using Ferdinand De Saussure signification theory. As a result, the writer found verbal and visual sign in the object of this research. The verbal signs are shown through the ads line, movie title, movie distributor, tagline, release date, and movie logo. Meanwhile, the visual signs are shown through the background illustration of the poster, the character placement in the poster, and colors.

Every human has psychological conditions including personality types, and it is said that fictional characters are reflections of actual people. This research aimed to find a fictional character named Meilin “Mei” Lee’s conscious and unconscious personality types. This research used Meilin “Mei” Lee as an object of the research and the Turning Red movie as the source data with its action and dialogues done by the characters as the primary data. To find Meilin “Mei” Lee’s personality types, this research used the psychological types theory proposed by Carl Jung and the qualitative descriptive method to describe the findings. The result showed that out of 8 types, Meilin “Mei” Lee has 7 conscious psychological types with a total of 28 data found within the movie. 3 data of extraverted thinking type, 6 data of introverted thinking type, 2 data of extraverted feeling, 4 data of introverted feeling, 7 data of extraverted sensation type, 3 data of introverted sensation type, 3 data of extraverted intuition type, while the introverted intuition type counts as her unconscious type.

The purpose of this research is, firstly, to find out how the education of indigenous women RA. Kartini. Second, to find out the relevance of RA Kartini's indigenous women's educational thinking to Islamic Education. In this study using the library research method (Library Research) with the main source being a collection of letters "After Darkness, Emergence of Light" translation by Armijn Pane, published by Balai Pustaka in 1938 with 204 pages thick. The primary data in this study is data in the form of quotations of words, phrases, sentences in the collection of letters of R.A. Kartini "After Dark Comes Light" translation by Armijn Pane. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that through an analysis of RA Kartini's letters sent to her friends in the Netherlands, at least you will find important parts of RA Kartini's thoughts on indigenous women's education, criticism of socio-culture, anxiety in understanding religion, and her multi-roles. as a daughter, as a wife as well as a mother, and her involvement in the public sphere both in the humanitarian, educational and political realms.

Grocery prices often experience fluctuations in several regions of Indonesia, such as East Java Province. One of the commodities affected is chili, including both red chilies and bird’s eye chilies. Predictive steps that utilise machine learning, such as Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), can be taken to estimate the next price of chili, with the expectation that the authorities can implement the appropriate strategy. LSTM is a network that was developed from RNN networks in previous times by offering a longer cell memory, allowing for the storage of more information. This research focuses on determining whether the LSTM network can be applied to the task of chili price prediction and identifying the suitable architecture and hyperparameter configuration for this case. For this reason, the experimental method is employed by testing several predetermined variables to determine the optimal architecture and hyperparameter configuration. The results of this research demonstrate that the LSTM network can be effectively applied in this case, and the obtained architecture and optimal hyperparameter configuration are consistent for both types of chilies, namely red chilies and bird’s eye chilies. For red chili, the best RMSE value that can be produced is 1751.890 and 1888.741 for bird’s eye chili.

This research investigates kinds of sexist language and technique of translation from novel Lolita and its translation in Indonesia. The aims of the study are: (1) to analyze the kinds of sexist language in Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita, (2) to analyze the techniques of translation that used to translate sexist expression in the novel Lolita. The study applied a descriptive qualitative method. In this case, the writer collected, classified, and described the data using the method. The source of data consists of documents taken from novel Lolita with its translation. To get the data, the writer read the English and the Indonesian novel carefully and identified the kinds of sexist language and its translations. The writer got 100 data of sexist language and 105 data for techniques of translation. The reason why the data of translation techniques are more than the data of characteristics of sexist language is because there is one data that used more than one translation techniques. The results of the study showed that: (1) there are 5 kinds of sexist language found in the novel i.e. 1) Man as Standard, 2) Women Are Different, 3) Non-Human Terms, 4) Negative Words, and the last, 5) Sex-Role Descriptors, (2) there are 8 kinds of translation technique used to translate sexist expression i.e. adaptation, borrowing, established equivalent, generalization, description, modulation, variation, and deletion.

This study addresses the challenge of price instability in chili markets, which can lead to economic losses and inflation. To mitigate this issue, we propose a machine learning model using Radial Basis Function Neural Networks (RBFNN) to predict prices of various chili variants. Our quantitative approach involves a comprehensive data preparation process, including preprocessing and normalization of time series data collected from 2018 to 2022. The RBFNN model is constructed with K-Means clustering for optimal hidden layer configurations and evaluated using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE). The results demonstrate promising accuracy, with MAPE error rates below 20% and relatively low RMSE values for large red chili (10.37%, 4484) and curly red chili (14.77%, 5590). Our findings indicate the potential for creating a reliable forecast model for predicting chili prices over 7 days, enabling better supply and demand management. The study's results also suggest that increased training data enhances forecasting accuracy. This research contributes to the development of effective price forecasting models, providing valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in the chili industry.

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Inggris bagi masyarakat dan pramuwisata di Desa Kelawi, guna mendukung pengelolaan Desa Wisata dan Konservasi Pantai Minang Rua, Lampung Selatan. Dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang ada, pengembangan desa wisata diharapkan dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi daerah serta memberdayakan sumber daya manusia melalui Kelompok Sadar Wisata. Melalui dukungan dari tim pengabdian masyarakat, program ini berupaya memperluas wawasan masyarakat agar dapat berkontribusi secara aktif dalam pembangunan desa wisata. Sasaran utama program ini adalah meningkatkan tata nilai masyarakat dengan memberikan edukasi bahasa Inggris, sehingga mereka mampu berkomunikasi dengan wisatawan asing, meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, serta memberikan nilai tambah bagi desa wisata.
