Abstract

The phenomenon of aggressive behavior still often occurs among teenagers and is included in discriminatory acts that are contrary to school and community norms. Aggressiveness can be manifested in the form of words or physical actions aimed at hurting other people. This research aims to find out how the use of the traditional bakiak panjang games reduces aggressive behavior in junior high school students. The research sample consisted of 12 students selected through a pretest using the purposive sampling method. Data was collected through a Likert scale questionnaire which measures students' level of aggressiveness. This questionnaire was distributed to class VII Babul Maghfirah students and the results were analyzed. The research results show that the calculated t value of 7.750 is higher than the t table value of 1.795, (7.750 > 1.795). This shows a decrease in the level of students' aggressive behavior. Therefore the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. In conclusion, the implementation of the traditional bakiak panjang games can help reduce aggressive behavior in students. This research can be a reference for further research regarding the use of the bakiak panjang games as a medium to reduce students' aggressive behavior.

Abstract

At the level of career planning at MTsN 2 Aceh Besar, some students still cannot determine career planning after graduating from MTsN and want to look for career information. As a result, it has an impact on the student's future. This research aims to know how the spinning wheel media improves students' career planning abilities at MTsN 2 Aceh Besar. This quantitative research method uses a pre-experimental approach with a group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 32 students from 211 populations using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique uses a Likert scale to measure students' level of career planning. The questionnaire was distributed to class IX students at MTsN 2 Aceh Besar. The research results show that the t count of 51.414 is greater than the t table of 1.695 (51.414>1.695). This means there is an increase in students' career planning, so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. The research contributes as reference material for further research on the application of spinning wheel media to improve students' career planning. Also, it serves as a guide for students in determining career planning when choosing secondary schools and career descriptions in the future.

Abstract

Konsentrasi adalah Kemampuan siswa dalam memusatkan perhatian pada tugas tertentu. Dalam layanan bimbingan kelompok, konsentrasi sangat penting karena berdampak pada ketercapaian tujuan layanan.Penelitian ini penting dilakukan karena realita di sekolah menunjukkan konsentrasi siswa dalam layanan tergolong rendah, ditunjukkan oleh perilaku seperti melamun, berbicara dengan teman, bermain alat tulis, dan kurangnya perhatian terhadap materi layanan. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-test post-test satu kelompok melalui kuesioner skala Likert dan observasi. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan pengujian normalitas untuk distribusi data dan uji paired sample t-test untuk menguji peningkatan konsentrasi Pra dan pasca perlakuan, dan uji n-gain untuk melihat efektivitas permainan jenga untuk meningkatkan konsentrasi siswa. hasil studi menunjukkan peningkatan konsentrasi siswa yang signifikan setelah diberikan permainan Jenga, dengan Nilai rata-rata N-Gain mencapai 0,60 (60%) dalam kategori sedang, dengan hasil uji t berpasangan thitung 26,209 > ttabel 2,571 dengan signifikansi < 0,05. Kesimpulannya, permainan jenga Layanan bimbingan kelompok efektif dalam meningkatkan fokus belajar siswa.

Abstract

Individuals who are identified with an isolated behavior tend to have inferior behavior that they may have difficulty to socialize properly and adapt to their group. T eenagers with this behavior also tend to interact passively by showing a lack of engagement with other people. This study aims to examine reality counseling to overcome the isolated behavior in teen students. This study used a One Group Pretest-Postest design of experiment, involving 10th grader students as many as 5 out of 53 students. Students were given a Likert Scale questionnaire before and after the treatment of the reality counseling. The result shows that reality counseling had a contribution to the improvement of the isolated behavior. The average score increases by 30.400 in pretest and post-test results, from 91.00 to 122.00. This study reveals that reality counseling could be used to overcome students' isolated behavior. This means students show an increase in social interest in every aspect, such as inferior students trying to interact with other people and build self-confidence, domineering students start to change their perception by not comparing their ability to someone's ability. In additon, selfish students were able to control their emotion and students who like to be alone could try to get along with their friends.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Islamic Counseling services in reducing academic stress among students at MTsS MUQ Pagar Air Banda Aceh. The research is driven by the phenomenon of early adolescents facing a dual-curriculum burden (general and religious), which triggers physical exhaustion, concentration difficulties, and decreased learning motivation. This quantitative study utilized a pre-experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest approach. A sample of six Grade VII students was selected through purposive sampling based on high academic stress criteria. Data were collected using a validated and reliable academic stress scale and analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test and N-Gain Score analysis. The results showed a significant decrease in academic stress scores, moving from the "High" category during the pre-test to the "Low" category at the post-test. Statistically, a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 was obtained, and the average N-Gain Score was 0.56, which is classified as "Moderately Effective." It can be concluded that Islamic Counseling services-through the reinforcement of spiritual aspects such as muhasabah, zikir, and tawakal-are effective in substantially reducing students' academic stress within the madrasah environment.

Abstract

Kecanduan media sosial telah menjadi hal mendesak karena mengurangi konsentrasi dan motivasi belajar siswa, termasuk siswa SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Kecanduan media sosial menyebabkan siswa menjadi acuh dengan tanggung jawabnya sebagai pelajar yang baik, dan berdampak negatif pada kesehatan mental dan prestasi akademik siswa. Penelitian bertujuan mengimplementasikan teknik self management untuk mengurangi kecanduan media sosial pada siswa SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperiment. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket kecanduan media sosial yang disusun menggunakan skala likert. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa kelas XI 1 dan sampel berjumlah 6 siswa yang mengalami kecanduan media sosial tinggi yang terlihat dari hasil pretest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi teknik self management melalui konseling kelompok efektif dalam mengurangi kecanduan media sosial pada siswa, dibuktikan melalui perbandingan skor pre-test dan post-test yang dianalisis menggunakan uji paired samples t-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05.,terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik antara sebelum dan sesudah teknik self mangement. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi teknik self management melalui konseling kelompok dapat mengurangi kecanduan media sosial pada siswa SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Objective: Emotions are an important aspect of human life that affect psychological and spiritual well-being. In Islamic counseling, understanding how to manage emotions according to Islamic teachings is expected to help individuals deal with various emotional challenges. Objective: This study aims to identify how Islam teaches the management of these emotions and provide practical guidance for counselors in providing Islamic-based counseling services. Method: The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The collected data were analysed thematically to explore the understanding of emotion management in Islamic teachings and its relevance in counseling practice. Result: Islam provides clear guidance in managing emotions: fear as a form of submission to Allah, anger that must be controlled through patience and forgiveness, sadness that is accepted with calmness and hope, and shame as a motivator for good behaviour. These concepts provide a strong foundation for a more holistic Islamic counseling approach, which integrates spiritual and psychological aspects in overcoming emotional problems. Conclusion: Emotional management in Islam significantly contributes to a more religion-based counseling approach and can be applied to improve individual well-being. Contribution: The main contribution of this study is as a practical guide for Islamic counselors, as well as introducing an approach that incorporates religious values in dealing with emotional problems. In addition, this study also encourages further development in the field of Islamic psychology, particularly in managing emotions in accordance with religious teachings.
