Abstract

The company uses the Gantt Chart method for scheduling planning, but this method has several disadvantages, that is, it cannot explicitly indicate the relationship between activities and how one activity results in other activities if the time is late or accelerated. To determine the optimal duration and the total cost of building 1 (one) Crude Storage Tank capacity of 600 MB (Mega Barrel) an optimization of the duration of the project is needed so that it can be known how long a project is completed and looking for possible acceleration of project time using the Critical method Path Method is a method used to make project scheduling. By using the Critical Path Method method the work of building 1 (one) Crude Storage Tank with a capacity of 600 MB (Mega Barrel) on the Open Access (Phase-1) RU-II Dumai project, can be completed within a period of 384 days / 64 weeks, and trajectory critical lies in the b-c-d-e-f-j-l activity with a total cost of Rp.15,086,074,328.

Abstract

The problem that often occurs in manufacturing companies is that companies sometimes experience delays in project completion. One of the factors that caused delays was that the company still randomly carried out any activities that took precedence over the process. With these problems, causing losses that are not good for both the implementer and the project owner. This will also have a negative impact on the company, including worsening the image of companies that seem unable to complete the project according to the agreed contract. This study aims to determine which activities in the critical path for initial conditions and acceleration, to know the difference in processing time from the initial conditions and the acceleration conditions, to know the difference in processing time from the initial conditions and the acceleration conditions, and to know the benefits of project costs which occurs between initial conditions and conditions after acceleration. This study uses the Critical Path Method method to determine the determination of the schedule and the estimated time is deterministic / definite and determine which activities are considered critical paths with the duration of this project for 192 working days. Based on the results of research critical activities in the initial conditions with 192 days. While for acceleration conditions, the completion time is 182 days with 2 critical trajectories which includes 17 production activities which all activities enter critical crossings. The optimal duration of the project is 182 days with a total project cost of Rp.900,000,000 on the alternative to adding overtime hours.

Abstract

These companies often experience difficulties caused by unscheduled and planned projects, material delays and lack of workforce for project work. From the problems that occur, this study aims to find activities that are critical trajectories for initial conditions and acceleration based on the Critical Path Method, to determine the difference in processing time from the initial conditions to acceleration conditions and to know the project cost advantages that occur between the initial conditions and conditions acceleration. CPM is a network-based method that uses a balance of time and cost. Each activity can be completed faster than regular time by crossing movements for a certain amount of charges. The method is used to find out when each event will begin and when it will be completed, data retrieval and research conducted at PT. DIHI. The results of the study showed that critical activity in the initial condition was for 253 days. While the acceleration activities of the total acceleration 208 days with 17 activities entered the critical path, from the results of these calculations the costs obtained from this project for the initial conditions were Rp 1,683,505,000, and the acceleration conditions were Rp 1,734,910,000.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia industri menuntut setiap perusahaan untuk selalu memperbaharui proses bisnisnya. Perbaharuan secara radikal dapat menggunakan pendekatan business process reengineering (BPR). BPR merupakan kerangka pendekatan inovasi proses bisnis. Tujuan akhir dari BPR adalah mendapatkan kinerja perusahaan yang ekselen di masa depan. Kinerja ekselen tersebut ditunjukkan oleh kriteria Malcom Baldridge. Untuk mencapai kinerja ekselen di masa depan maka diadopsi metode Balanced Scorecard. Peran strategis auditor internal dalam BPR adalah melakukan pengukuran kinerja perusahaan pada saat ini yaitu pada saat perusahaan sedang merancang perubahan proses bisnis, turut menerjemahkan kriteria malcom baldridge ke dalam kerangka strategis balanced scorecard dan mengukur secara kontinu kriteria tolok ukur balanced scorecard

Abstract

Customer satisfaction in the service sector is an important and decisive element in developing the company so that it still exists in the face of competition. Improving service to consumers is very important in an effort to increase customer satisfaction. The problems faced by companies today are inefficiencies in the service process caused by the amount of waste and non-value added activities that can harm the company, such as handling damage to slow piping, frequent complaints from customers, thus impacting consumer satisfaction. This study aims to identify the expectations or desires of consumers, the level of customer satisfaction with the quality of services and propose improvements to service quality based on priority improvements from the IPA diagram. This study, using questionnaires, interviews and observations in data collection. Research respondents were all representatives of consumers totaling 10 companies. Survey results are processed using validity and reliability, Servqual and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) tests. The results showed that the level of customer satisfaction with the average service quality was still unsatisfactory. This is evidenced by the results of a negative gap obtained from all dimensions measured. To improve the quality of service can be done by fostering communication with the supplier (Pertamina) to make a special pipeline so that the flow of gas from the supplier is not divided with other distributors, making automatic control valve from the supplier, doing regular service, cooperation with other suppliers to back up gas when the supply from the main supplier is disrupted, and provides compensation for gas supply to consumers who experience gas supply shortages

Abstract

Loss on a working system is one of the causes of the cost of the process to swell. The loss that reaches more than 450 tons/month on a cooling water system at a chemical company in the Serang area causes the company's expenses to swell. This study aims to determine the cause of cooling water wash as a basis for process improvement by using Six Sigma and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). Data analysis results showed that cooling water loss is too little backwash filter duration, service filter duration is not optimum, and flow unreadable side stream. Improvements by increasing the length of the backwash, raising the service time of the sand filter to every two days, and cleaning the rotameter can increase the sigma value from 3.5 to 4.5.

Abstract

PT. TDE adalah perusahaan manufaktur bergerak di bidang permesinan dan suku cadang. Mesin bubut adalah salah satu mesin yang digunakan pada proses produksi suku cadang dan sebagainya, Salah satu produk suku cadang adalah mechanical seal. Mesin bubut terdiri dari beberapa komponen yang sering mengalami breakdown sehingga mengakibatkan downtime. Penelitian ini bertujuan unutuk mengetahui tindakan perawatan yang optimal untuk komponen kritis pada mesin bubut CZ6232A dan memberikan usulan perawatan dengan pendekatan Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). RCM adalah sebuah pendekatan sistematis untuk mengevaluasi sebuah fasilitas dan sumber daya untuk menghasilkan reliability yang tinggi. Dari analisa RCM pada mesin bubut didapatkan Komponen yang memiliki risk priority number (RPN) terbesar yaitu bearing 360, stator 288 dan rotor 288 sehingga memerlukan strategi perawatan yang lebih tepat dibandingkan perawatan sebelumnya. Hasil pemilihan tindakan perawatan RCM terdapat 5 komponen dengan perawatan CD yaitu kipas pendingin, motor housing, bearing, main shaft dan drive pulley, terdapat 2 komponen dengan perawatan FF yaitu stator dan rotor dan terdapat 1 komponen dengan tindakan perawatan TD yaitu brush.

Abstract

Ekonomi kreatif diyakini dapat menjawab tantangan permasalahan dasar jangka pendek dan jangka menengah. Industri kreatif menciptakan iklim bisnis yang positif dan membangun citra serta identitas bangsa. Disamping perkembangan yang luar biasa, industri kreatif di Indonesia juga menghadapi persaingan yang kian ketat. Salah satu bentuk tantangan dan ancaman yang dihadapi oleh industri kreatif di Indonesia adalah perkembangan unsure teknologi & knowledge base, kurangnya kelembagaan, pemasaran, kapasitas dan jaringan distribusi. Salah satu bentuk antisipasi ancaman ini adalah industri kreatif perlu melakukan upaya pengelolaan rantai pasokan. Persaingan ke depan bukan hanya persaingan individu industri melainkan persaingan rantai pasokan dari industri kreatif. Industri kreatif saat ini umumnya masih relative berada pada level small medium enterprise / perusahaan kecil menengah. Pada dasarnya berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi  oleh UKM cenderung berulang dari tahun ke tahun dan dari periode ke periode. Persoalan yang berulang ini menunjukan lemahnya pengelolaan pengetahuan. Paper ini bersifat konseptual yang merupakan hasil dari studi literature. Hal yang disarankan dalam paper ini adalah perlunya proses pelembagaan manajemen rantai pasokan dan manajemen pengetahuan pada industry kreatif. Proses pelembagaan tersebut digambarkan di dalam sebuah model yang menghubungkan antara kebijakan pendukung, mapping industry kreatif, kelembagaan manajemen rantai pasokan dan karakteristik pasar. Harapannya perkembangan industry kreatif dewasa ini bukan hanya sekedar trend melainkan memiliki tingkat keberlanjutan di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are diseases in the human muscular tissue system in the back, wrist, knees and shoulders caused by incorrect postur during work activities. This study was conducted to determine the level of risk MSDs on operator work activities at the cast house work station. Activities under study are activities; surface repair tap hole, checking temperature iron, and take iron sample. These activities are carried out repeatedly, incorrect work posture and the presence of heat from work environment factors that affect the whole body. This makes the operator complain of pain in parts of the body at risk of developing musculoskeletal complaints. This study was an observational study using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment method and the Nordic Body Map instrumen. The result of the Nordic Body Map instrumen for 20 operators at the cast house work station showed that there were 21 complaints against operator. Based on the measurement of cast house operators the surface repair activity of tap holes has a “high” risk value for MSDs (REBA Score 9), checking temperature iron activities have a “low” risk value for MSDs. Proposed improvement to prevent is to improve the procedur in the surface repair activities of tap holes, where when the process of sticking the dough is done in front of the tap hole is changed by attaching it to the mud gun nozzle tip. After the proposed improvement, the result of the Nordic Body Map instrumen showed no complaints and the measurement of the tap hole had a “low” risk value for the occurrence of MSDs (REBA Score 3).

Abstract

Cil_ans Distributor is a trading business that distributes broilers from cages to traders in the Cilegon-Merak market. Some of the risks experienced by Cil_ans Distributors include: demand for chicken sizes that vary from 1.0 kg to 1.4 kg, chickens that die during distribution in a month reach 300 birds, and payment arrears. The purpose of this study is to identify the risks that arise in the chicken supply chain at Cil_ans Distributor and to determine how to mitigate the risks that arise in the chicken supply chain at Cil_ans Distributor. Risk is an event that if it occurs will have a negative impact on the achievement of performance. This study uses a House of Risk (HOR) approach in identifying, analyzing and measuring risks in the Cil_ans Distributor supply chain. The Cil_ans Distributor supply chain is modeled based on the Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) method. The results identified 10 types of risk agents with ARP values ​​as follows: (A2) chicken size is uneven with ARP 1701, (A12) chickens are stressed with ARP 1512, (A20) Overheated chicken with ARP 1170, (A9) less deposit with ARP 936, (A8) increase/decrease in demand at ARP 918, (A17) overload at ARP 882, (A11) chickens brought in by consumers at ARP 792, (A10) unsold chickens at ARP 728, (A5) chickens sick with ARP 693, and (A3) less skilled employees with ARP 612. By mitigating the following risks: cover baskets with tarpaulins when distributing heavy rains, have backup DO, use paranet when distributing to customers when the weather is hot, chickens must be watered regularly every 3 hours , savings system, catching chickens is done from the largest to the smallest size, hot weather, chickens should not be caught, moving the cage, having a temporary cage to accommodate excess chickens and reminding the foreman.
