Abstract

Disaster resilience leads to the capacity that individuals have to adapt positively in the face of disasters. The purpose of this study is the Development of a Disaster Resilience Model in an Effort to Improve the Disaster Resilience of Health Workers The PSC 119 Team involved in Disaster Management with the first stage of analyzing factors related to disaster resilience in the PSC 119 team involved in handling natural disasters. The research design used by researchers is correlational research with a cross-sectional approach. In this study will use the Purposive sampling technique. The sampling technique uses a total sampling and collected as many as 110 PSC 119 officers in Malang Regency. Data collection using Disaster Resilience questionnaires on Health Workers and DASS-21 (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale). The data analysis used in this study is univariate and bivariate. Spearman correlation is used to find out the relationship between the degree of closeness of two variables. Results from the Spearman Correlation Test show a significant relationship between disaster resilience with anxiety (R= -0,361, p value= 0.000) and weak correlation strength. It is hoped that the results of this study can be the next steps in improving the coping of health workers and providing policy recommendations related to the resources needed, as an informative reference not only for health workers but also for health students in formulating strategies to increase disaster resilience in health workers involved in disaster management.

Abstract

Latar belakang : Kondisi pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada tingginya kunjungan pasien ke Rumah Sakit. Salah satu tempat yang mengalami peningkatan jumlah kunjungan pasien selama pandemi adalah ruangan Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD). Meningkatnya jumlah kunjungan pasien ke IGD di masa pandemi ini memiliki dampak yang tinggi bagi perawat. Perawat IGD adalah tenaga kesehatan yang paling sering terlibat secara langsung dan kontak dengan pasien yang memiliki resiko tertular virus COVID-19. Tujuan : Mengidentifikasi pengalaman perawat IGD dalam merawat pasien di masa pandemi COVID-19. Desain : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif dengan strategi penelitian case study research dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur kepada empat partisipan perawat IGD. Hasil : Penelitian ini didapatkan tiga tema.

Abstract

Background: Patients with post CVA have difficulties in carrying out their daily activities because of the limited mobility they experience. These obstacles make them need special attention from their family members. In responding to situations like the above, there are several things that are done by the family, one of which is to seek physiotherapy assistance to reduce the level of immobility of the patient. The purpose of this study was to describe the experiences of families in caring for family members with post CVA. Method: This research method uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The selection of participants used a purposive sampling method with three participants. While data collection used semi-structured interviews and documentation, with data triangulation as a test of validity and analyzed using thematic analysis. The data collection tool used was a list of interview questions and a cell phone as a recorder. Results: The results of the study found 4 themes, namely: (1) Family experience in meeting the needs of the elimination pattern, (2) Family experience in fulfilling the family support, (3) Family experience in fulfilling the pattern of nutrition fulfillment, (4) Family experience in meeting the needs of the sleep pattern. Discussion: the efforts of participants as children and husbands who have family members with Post CVA conditions in parenting are quite good. despite facing various difficulties, family members have their own way of dealing with these difficulties, so that Mrs. J has enthusiasm in dealing with the conditions he is experiencing and progressing in his condition or rehabilitation stage.
