Physical assessment skill is depend on many factors, clinical experiences and composure on doing assessment technique is very important. Negative or positive false will reduce those meticulous techniques. However, assessment result could be different according to techniques that used by different assessor, various equipment or when it done for different patients. From proposal study on 96 of first grade nursing student scores mean in UMM about physical assessment skill which are attained from campus laboratory practices, result are 12% were very good, 31% were good, 46% were fair and 11% were poor. The objectives of this research is to know the supporting and opposing factors on physical assessment skill in nursing diploma student in Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Research design were using observational descriptive study. It held on first period of internal research on July to November 2007. The population of this research were nursing diploma student in Muhammadiyah University of Malang and the second grade of nursing student were the samples. Sampling technique were using purposive sampling. Data analyzes used Guttman Scale Standart. Fom the research, the percentage of supporting internal factor were 59% and opposing factor were 41,0 % on physical assessment skill in nursing diploma student in Muhammadiyah University of Malang. The percentage of supporting external factor were 57.9% and opposing factor were 42.1 % on physical assessment skill in nursing diploma student in Muhammadiyah University of Malang. Conclusion: Supporting factor for increasing physical assessment skill on internal factor are (59%) and on external factor are (57,9%). Opposing factor in order to increase physical assessment skill on internal factor are (41%) and on external factor are (43.1%). Internal factor on resource comprehension and literature using from lecturer is quite less on percentage of 50.6%. On the other hand, from external factors about guidance book is relatively less on percentage of 45.6%. Keywords: Supporting factor, Opposing factor, Physical assessment skill

Cardiac arrest is considered to be a global health issue that is very important to overcome. The initial rapid assessment and quick response may prevent death or permanent disability. Not only health care workers, but lay person, including the high school students, are expected to be trained in basic life support (BLS). The purpose of this research is to determine if there any influence of basic life support training on the knowledge’s changing amongst high school students. This study was a quasi experimental quantitative research with cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique was a total sampling, with a total number of 32 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test. Results showed that there was a changing in the knowledge before and after training of BLS (p-value <0.05), with an average score of knowledge after the training (7.5) was increased significantly compared to the average score of knowledge before the training (5.8). To sum up, giving BLS training is proved to be an effective way to improve high school students’ knowledge about basic life support.

Discharge planning bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kontinuitas perawatan, meningkatkan kualitas perawatan dan memaksimalkan manfaat sumber pelayanan kesehatan. Discharge planning dapat mengurangi hari perawatan pasien, mencegah kekambuhan, meningkatkan perkembangan kondisi kesehatan pasien dan menurunkan beban perawatan pada keluarga dapat dilakukan melalui discharge planning. Menerapkan suatu ilmu, dibutuhkan pengetahuan tentang ilmu tersebut karena pengetahuan atau kognitif merupakan domain yang sangat penting dalam membentuk tindakan seseorang. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengetahuan dan tingkat pengetahuan konsep discharge planning mahasiswa keperawatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Metode penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif analitik. Hasil analisis statistik didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan mahasiswa keperawatan tentang konsep discharge planning menunjukkan bahwa seluruh responden termasuk dalam pengetahuan yang kurang yaitu sebanyak 100%. Tingkat pengetahuan mahasiswa sebagian besar berada pada ranah pengetahuan: tahu (pada soal nomor 1 sebanyak 93,8%), paham (pada soal nomor 10 sebanyak 98,8%) dan seluruh responden masih belum bisa mengerjakan soal pada ranah pengetahuan aplikasi, analisis, dan sintesis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini disarankan untuk memasukkan materi discharge planning dalam materi perkuliahan di mana dapat menyempurnakan materi proses dan dokumentasi keperawatan yang telah didapatkan dan dapat juga mengaplikasikan dan menekankan penerapan discharge planning pada masing-masing mata kuliah keperawatan yang diampu.Kata kunci: discharge planning, pengetahuanABSTRACTDischarge planning is a process which is start when the patient got a health care that followed by continuity of care not only in a healing process but also in maintaining their health degree until they are prepare returning on their neighborhood. The aim of discharge planning is to increase the continuity of care, to improve quality of care and to maximize the advantage of health care resources. It also reducing patient day of care, improving patient health condition and lessen family burden on health care cost. By applying science, it needs knowledge because knowledge or cognitive is an important domain in composing ones attitude. The purpose of this research is to analyze knowledge about discharge planning concept amongst nursing student of Muhammadiyah University. The method of this research is analytic descriptive study. From this research, it can be inferred that the nursing student knowledge about discharge planning concept was poor (100%). Whereas, student knowledge degree was in level of know (93,8%); comprehend (98,8%) and all the respondents were still couldn’t complete the questions on application, analysis and synthetic level. Our recommendation for all the lecturer are to include discharge planning topic on their subject which can completing nursing process and documentation; they also can apply the use of discharge planning in every nursing subject.Keywords: discharge planning, knowledge

Dalam melakukan evaluasi pencapaian kompetensi keterampilan klinik diperlukan penilaian sampai tingkat shows how dan does. OSCE dapat mengukur kompetensi mahasiswa tidak hanya kemampuan kompetensi kognitif tetapi kompetensi yang akan dicapai akan komprehensif. Penelitian ini berawal dari permasalahan yaitu metode evaluasi keterampilan klinik pada mata kuliah Keperawatan Gawat Darurat I yang selama ini digunakan hanya berfokus pada prosedur klinik sehingga kompetensi mahasiswa belum dapat dicapai secara komprehensif. Data nilai ujian praktikum mahasiswa keperawatan Tahun Akademik 2009/2010 menunjukkan 60, 76% dari total 104 mahasiswa tidak lulus dengan nilai rata-rata 68. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa PSIK FIKES UMM pada keterampilan kegawatdaruratan melalui penerapan metode OSCE dengan pendekatan peer assessment. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan (action research). Penelitian ini terdiri dari siklus I dan II. Prosentase kelulusan pada siklus I yaitu 62,96% sedangkan siklus II mencapai 77,78%. Data selanjutnya dianalisis secara statistik dengan melakukan uji t test satu sampel terikat. Dari uji tersebut didapatkan nilai p-value = 0.540679 dengan ± = 0.05, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang sangat signifikan dari kompetensi klinik kegawatdaruratan mahasiswa dengan pelaksanaan peer assessment pada OSCE.Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, Keterampilan Klinik, Peer Assessment, OSCEABSTRACTThere are many kinds of evaluation methods in health education institution. Evaluating clinical skills competency needs an assessment in shows how and does level. OSCE can measure student’s competency not only cognitive competency but also the competency will achieved comprehensively. This research is conducted when there was a problem in achieving student’s competency in Emergency Nursing I subject. The previous evaluation methods only focused in clinical procedures. Data on the academic year 2009/2010 showed that 60, 76% from 104 students can not pass the minimum requirement of minimum completeness criteria with score average 68. The aim of the research is increasing student’s competency, especially in emergency skills through appliying peer assessment on OSCEs. The research methods using qualitative approach. Research design is action research. It consist of 2 cycle; The first cycle and second one. The percentage at the first cycle gain 62,96%, next at the second cycle gain 77,78%. Then, data is analyzed statistically using one-tail t-test. The results is p-value = 0.540679 with ± = 0.05. Introduction: the context of the study The new coronavirus COVID-19 is a pandemic disease that currently attacks all countries, including Indonesia, where the number of people who have died in 7.169 cases and those confirmed positive are 165.887 cases. The increasing number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia has heightened the anxiety and fear experienced by everyone. Objectives: The main objective of this study is to analyze the psychometric properties of the Indonesian translation version of the COVID-19 Fear Scale (FCV-19S) using a sample population in Indonesia. Methods: This study is a cross-sectional instrumental study. The method in this study uses the convenience sampling method. Results: This result showed good internal consistency with the value of Cronbach’s alpha was 0.87. Conclusion: This study indicated good internal consistency. Future research is to evaluate the correlation between other variables. This study could be applied to the Indonesian population to screen fear of Covid-19 during the pandemic.

Abbreviation is the process of cutting one word, some parts of the word and the combination of words into words in the new form. Abbreviation is used by all kinds of people who share situations of interests and it is often used in informal situation. The use of abbreviation is not only found in daily conversation, discussion, or speech, but also found in online interaction in social media. This study aims to find out the types and the meaning of abbreviation words and types internet language in Twitter used by Hollywood pop singers. This research used Schendl (2001) and Weakly (2006) theories about five types of abbreviation words. This study is descriptive qualitative research. The data were taken from tweets that have been posted by Hollywood pop singers on June 2019. The result showed that from 47 data that have been collected, there were four types out of abbreviation that have been found from five types of Schendl an Weakly abbreviations. They are clipping (14,9%), initialism (34,0%), blend (10,6%), contraction (40,4%) and acronym is not found from the data. From the finding it can be concluded that the type of abbreviation which is dominantly used by the singers in Twitter is contraction.
