Abstract

The emergence of a wide variety of interpretations of the Qur’an methodology often forget the methods offered by the classical scholars. Though the appearance of the existing methods of interpretation as it is today can not be separated from the rules of interpretation which was initiated by the classical scholars of the period. The Qur'an as a book of guidance for human beings can not be understood directly without the rules of interpretation that apply. One of the rules of interpretation used in interpreting the Qur'an is a rule of interpretation of the word friend. The interpretation of the word friend is regarded as highly representative explanation of the validity of the understanding of the Qur'an. Because friends are people that are still able to meet directly with the Prophet, of course, the rules of interpretation that are used are not much distorted.

Abstract

This article attempts to examine the methodology of interpretation in the classic commentary text by Abdullah bin Wahb al-Mishri, namely the book al-Jami' Tafsir al-Qur'an. This is motivated by the existence of a study of ancient manuscripts attributed to Ibn Wahb through transmission. The object of study is al-Jami' Tafsir al-Qur'an by Abdullah bin Wahb al-Mishri which is the result of research (tahqiq and ta'liq) from Miklos Muranyi in 1939. By using a qualitative-descriptive method, this article concludes that: the method used by Abdullah bin Wahb al-Miṣrī can be viewed from 4 points of view; sources of interpretation using bi al-ra'yī, the breadth of explanation uses ijmālī, the goals and systematics use mauḍū'ī and the tendency of interpretation uses bi al-riwāyah. These results indicate that the book of commentaries does not only use a single method in its preparation so that al-Miṣrī makes his book an answer that the compilation of the book of interpretations of the Qur'an is not single, but mono-method, or in methodological terms using comparisons.

Abstract

Ketahanan keluarga merupakan aspek penting dalam menciptakan masyarakat yang sehat dan harmonis. Dalam konteks ini, Al-Qur’an memberikan panduan yang mendalam mengenai nilai-nilai dan prinsip-prinsip yang dapat memperkuat ketahanan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ketahanan keluarga dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan pendekatan ecological systems theory yang dikembangkan oleh Urie Bronfenbrenner. Teori ini mengidentifikasi berbagai lapisan lingkungan yang mempengaruhi individu diantaranya adalah teori mikrosistem, mesosistem, eksosistem, makrosistem, dan kronosistem. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan beberapa temuan bahwa ketahanan keluarga bergantung pada interaksi yang kuat antara berbagai lapisan sistem yang mempengaruhi mereka, baik dari dalam maupun luar keluarga. Al-Qur’an memberikan landasan spiritual yang kuat melalui ajaran tentang hubungan keluarga, pendidikan, interaksi sosial, dan kesabaran menghadapi perubahan. Prinsip-prinsip seperti kasih sayang, komunikasi yang baik, pendidikan yang efektif, dan keterlibatan dalam masyarakat adalah elemen kunci yang mendukung ketahanan keluarga.

Abstract

This service aims to provide assistance to the community, in utilizing straw waste. By utilizing straw as animal feed, our next hope is to be able to increase the income of farmers in Prayungan village, because the time they have used to find grass, they can use it for farming, because fodder no longer needs to use grass, but has been replaced with straw. The impact of changes in the Prayungan village community following the holding of this training included: (i) The community no longer throws away straw which can clog sanitation, (ii) The community no longer burns straw which can cause pollution, (iii) Increased awareness of the Prayungan village community about the benefits of straw , (iv) Growing community enthusiasm in making fermented animal feed, and (v) There are groups of capable farmers and the community sharing about processing straw as fermented animal feed.

Abstract

Technology has become an inseparable part of human life, exerting a significant influence on patterns of living and social behavior. Social media often gives rise to various ethical and moral concerns, including a decline in self-awareness, weakened self-control, and erosion of moral values. Sufism and technology can be integrated to maintain a balance between digital advancement and the spiritual depth of human beings. This article examines the implementation of Sufi teachings in the digital era, focusing on three key aspects: the development of virtual awareness, ethical conduct in digital engagement, and the cultivation of self-control. The study employs a literature-based approach, utilizing descriptive-analytical analysis and drawing on primary and secondary sources, including classical Sufi texts, contemporary literature on digital ethics, and scholarly articles. Its epistemological position is prescriptive, as it not only describes ethical phenomena in the digital sphere but also formulates normative principles based on Sufi teachings to reinforce digital ethics.The findings indicate that Sufism offers a value-based foundation for addressing digital challenges. Virtual awareness can be cultivated through the practices of dhikr, muhasabah, and muraqabah, which position technology as a medium for drawing closer to God. Digital ethics from a Sufi perspective emphasizes the importance of politeness, honesty, and a focus on the public good in every online interaction. Meanwhile, self-control can be exercised through disciplined use of technology, avoidance of negative content, and restraint from excessive digital desires. The implementation of Sufism in the digital era can serve as an effective strategy for maintaining equilibrium between technological utilization and spiritual needs, while simultaneously contributing to the development of a morally refined society.
