Abstract

The gonggong shell (Laevistrombus turturella) is a species of sea snail found in the waters surrounding Bintan, Riau Islands. The gonggong consists of both meat and shell, with the shell constituting the largest portion, approximately 60%. The high proportion of shells materials compared to  the meat results in abundant gonggong shell waste. One way to utilize gonggong shells is by converting the shells into shell flour, which can be used in health supplements and as feed for shrimp, particularly in shrimp farms in Bintan Regency. The hard texture of gonggong shells (13.1 MPa) requires pretreatment before milling. The pretreatment processes include autoclaving, drying, and burning. This study aimed to assess the quality difference between the scaled-up  and laboratory-scale processes, and to identify the material requirements and utilities for the large-scale pretreatment process of gonggong shell to produce shell flour. The scale-up was conducted with a 1 : 50 ratio from the laboratory scale. The quality results of gonggong shell flour in the large-scale study showed a moisture content of 0.46%, an ash content of 56.42%, and a calcium content of 54.31%. These results were compared with those obtained at the laboratory scale using an unpaired t-test, and no significant differences were found for all tested parameters.

Abstract

Okara is by-product of tofu production with a rich nutritional, mainly protein, lipid, and carbohydrate. Okara has the potential as diet food of black soldier fly larvae (BSFL). In addition to waste management, BSFL produce high-lipids biomass that could be used as biodiesel materials. This research used a lipid extraction process with a microwave-assisted extraction method. Through rearing BSFL on Okara, 100 BSFL were harvested at the 14 days old. It was found the BSF-derived oil biomass had 35.40% lipid content and 40.44% protein content. The response surface methodology investigated the effect of sample-to-solvent ratio (1:3.1 - 1:8.83 w/v %) and extraction time (11.7-68.3 min) for minimum FFA, Acid value, and maximum yield. The optimum lipid yield was conducted to the esterification and trans-esterification process with 0.05 % H2SO4 in 98 % methanol at 60˚C for 1 hour. The optimal combination of the analysis results obtained a sample-to-solvent ratio of 1:4 w/v and an extraction time of 60 minutes. The properties of BSF-derived oil biomass had 3.026% FFA, 6.004% Acid value, and 29.397% lipid yield. FAME from biodiesel derived from BSFl biomass was predominantly constitued about C12:0 at around 44.47%, followed by C18:2 at around 14.25%, and C16:0 at around 11.32%.

Abstract

In carrying out development, it must take place in continuity so that when a change of leadership occurs it can run well, peacefully and be continued by the next president as a result of the election. And every Indonesian as citizens and members of society, every Indonesian has the same rights and obligations. Pancasila as the basis of the State in the fourth Principle of Democracy which is led by the Wisdom of Wisdom in Representative Deliberations through the first point As Citizens and Citizens of the Community, every Indonesian has the same rights and obligations in facing Globalization. Hypothesis of the problem is that the President will intervene in the 2024 Election in order to achieve continuity. Between the previous government and the future government, even though they want to do this, the goals are no longer purely in accordance with this, but there are deviations due to the factor of wanting to prioritize one's own group but with the protection of saying it is for the common interest or the interests of the State.
