Abstract

Kata kunci: Wireless Protected Access, Captive Portal, WLAN, Web Proxy dan Virtual Private Network AbstractThis study discusses the analysis of Wireless LAN (Wireless Local Area Network) security against external attacks on the Wireless Protected Access (WPA), Web Proxy, and Virtual Private Network (VPN) protocols, which are used to attack LANs.The research will be conducted at the UNIKUNET Network (Kuningan University Campus Wireless Network 1) that uses captive portal as a media authentication for its public hotspot network. Three types of software are used as attackers, namely, attackers Visual Network Stumbler, Aircrack and Wireshark. The software is used on laptops at a distance of 5m to 25m from the Wireless LAN access point. From the experimental results, it was seen that the fastest time was responded to by the WPA Protocol provided by Visual Network Stumbler attackers, followed by Aircrack and Wireshark, and possible security gaps were obtained. Keywords: Wireless Protected Access, Captive Portal, WLAN, Web Proxy and Virtual Private Network

Abstract

ABSTRACT The process of publishing journal articles and research student at the Kuningan University is not optimal, the results of research files are only stored in computer study program, and the print version published in the University library and each department. The title and theme of the research that has been done by all students who have graduated not organized, so it is relatively hard to find a title of the research has been done or not. Search Engine Optimization is the process of optimizing an application for easy access by the search engine. Institutional Repository is the digital storage media for the research sector in an institution that can be accessed anytime and more resistant to damage. Open Journal System is one of the international application as a digital repository of scientific articles and publications online and it might apply in the environment Kuningan University for infrastructure and infrastructure already supports. This research aims to implement the application Open Journal Systems at the Kuningan University and process optimization of search Google Search and Google Scholars and Portal Garuda so can the search engines will easily access content that is applied Institutional Repository, which will raise the rating is displayed search results in google engines and improve rankings webometrics  Keywords: Search Enggine Optimization, SEO, Digital Repository, OJS, Google Search, Google Schoolar

Abstract

The use of portal hotspots as network authentication and enhancing wireless network security is commonly implemented by combining it with the Radius database (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) as a means of storing user credentials that can be accessed by network devices. Problems occur when a company that has an intranet network is geographically separated where the radius user database must be run on each intranet network, so that the same user registration process must be carried out repeatedly at branch companies. Kuningan University has branch campuses that are geographically located at different distances, so a centralized and secure technology is needed in exchanging data. In this study, the application of VPN (Virtual Private Network) technology was examined to combine two or more different networks with the application of security to data communications. The Radius database will be stored in a data center that uses a public IP so that it can be accessed by both sites connected using a VPN, so that the hotspot user data changes. The topology design was successfully simulated using the vmware and gns3 applications as a simulator for Mikrotik-based network devices according to the devices used in the research object. The results obtained, each site that is connected using remote vpn l2tp can be connected to each other to the radius database in the datacenter, and can be authenticated by a login hotspot that is activated on the Mikrotik router.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find amphibians and reptiles that live in the Tarang Ngalau, Kamang Mudiak village, Kamang Magek sub-district, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. Because this area functions as a tourist attraction. Habitat changes will affect fauna at depth, especially herpetofauna, because herpetofauna are very sensitive to environmental changes. The method used is the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) by determining survey points in the Tarang Ngalau area for data collection. The data obtained is entered into the table of Anura and Reptile species by making the conservation status of the Anura and Reptile species found. The survey was conducted from December 2022 to January 2023. Based on the research conducted, an inventory of herpetofauna species in the Tarang Ngalau area found 4 amphibian species belonging to 4 families, namely: Dicroglossidae (1 species), Microhylidae (1 species), Ranidae (1 species), Bufonidae (1 species) and 4 species of reptiles belonging to 3 families namely: Colubridae (1 species), Gekkonidae (2 species) Colubridae (1 species).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to collect data on amphibians of the Anura order in the Sarasah Salisikan waterfall area, Batang Anai District, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra. Because this area will be developed into a tourist area by the local nagari government and also plantation activities around the waterfall which will affect the number of species that inhabit this area. This study used the VES (Visual Encounter Survey) method, which is based on direct encounters with specimens in the field. The research was conducted in November-December 2022, the research results found a total of 9 species consisting of 5 families. This research area will be a place to conduct similar research in the future. Keywords :Inventory, Anura, Sarasah Salisikan Water fall, Batang Anai, West Sumatera

Abstract

Borneo is the 3rd largest island in the world with an area of 748,168 km2. Indonesia which has a high biodiversity value. Amphibians are one of the constituent components of the ecosystem that has a very important role. This study aims to determine the number and diversity of amphibians on the island of Kalimantan. This research was conducted by collecting data through the AMNH (Amphibian Museum of Natural History) Platform. Based on data collected through the AMNH platform, there were 10 families, namely Megophryidae as many as 13 species, Mycrohilidae as many as 16 species, Ranidae as many as 19 species, Dicroglossidae as many as 15 species, Bombinatoridae as many as 2 species, Ichthyophiidae as many as 2 species, Ceratobatrachidae as many as 2 species, Bufonidae as many as 6 species, and Rhacophoridae as many as 16 species. So the total amphibians on the island of Borneo based on the data we obtained through the AMNH platform is 91 species.
