Abstract

Regression analysis is one statistical method used to determine the relationship between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables. Dependent variables that are categorical are analyzed using logistic regression analysis. Geographically Weighted Logistic Regression (GWLR) is a method that is a local version of logistic regression, where location factors are considered. This method assumes that the dependent variable data are distributed binomially. In this study, the GWLR method is used to determine the factors influencing the poverty percentage in West Java Province in 2022 using an adaptive Gaussian kernel weighting function. The variables used are per capita expenditure, average length of schooling, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita, and population density. The results of this study indicate that the variables of per capita expenditure, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita, and population density significantly influence the poverty percentage in West Java Province in 2022.

Abstract

The partition dimension of a graph is determined by minimum number of vertex partitions such that every vertex has different distances to the ordered partitions. A complete graph is very easy to determine its partition dimension because each vertex has the same distance to other vertices. However, what are the partition dimension if a complete graph is modified so that it becomes a daisy graph. In this paper, we discuss the partition dimension of daisy graphs. Next, we will also provide barbell graph operations on daisy graphs.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to develop a mathematical model of monkeypox disease spread with reinfection and hospitalization. This model divided the human population into five sub-populations: susceptible, exposed, infectious, hospitalized, and recovered. On the other hand, the animal population is divided into three: susceptible, exposed, and infectious. The results of the model analysis show that the stability of the two equilibrium points, disease-free and endemic, is asymptotically stable when  and , respectively. A sensitivity analysis was conducted on the parameter of the rate at which infected individuals are hospitalized. Based on numerical simulations, a disease-free state has been achieved when more than 68.87% of infected individuals receive hospital treatment. Hospital treatment has a positive impact on efforts to reduce the number of infected individuals in the population. The more individuals who are hospitalized, the greater the number of individuals who are exposed, hospitalized, and recover will increase.

Abstract

The locating chromatic number of a graph is the minimum color required for a locating coloring. This concept is a combination of partition dimension and vertex coloring of a graph. The purpose of this paper is to determine the locating chromatic number of the Rose graph and the barbell Rose graphs. The method used to obtain the locating chromatic number of a graph is by determining its upper and lower bounds. In this paper, the locating chromatic number of the Rose graphs and its barbell operation were obtained. The locating chromatic number of Rose graph ???? (????????) is 4 for ???? ∈ {3, 4} and 5 for ???? ≥ 5. Furthermore, for barbell Rose graphs, 4 for ???? = 3 and 5 for ???? ≥ 4

Abstract

Traveling Salesman Problem(TSP) is a problem where a salesman visits cities, each city is connected, and there are weights to move between cities, thus forming a complete weighted graph. The objective of the TSP is to determine all city routes with the lowest total weight. Cheapest Insertion Heuristic (CIH), one of the algorithms to solve TSP. This algorithm provides different travel routes depending on the order of city elimination on the subtour in question. In this study, the CIH algorithm will be discussed to determine the shortest route for distribution of goods from suppliers to several retailers in the city of Bandarlampung, especially for 23 retailers whose locations in Teluk Betung sub-district. The result shows that the total distance travel from the supplier to the 23 retailers and then back to the supplier location is 34.84 km.

Abstract

The Generalized Space-Time Autoregressive Moving Average (GSTARMA) model is a development of the time series model that can capture both spatial and temporal dynamics simultaneously. This study uses the GSTARMA model to analyze inflation data in five cities in South Sulawesi Province from January 2017 to October 2024. The GSTARMA model obtained is GSTARMA (1,0,1) with a cross-correlation normalization spatial weight matrix. The results of the analysis indicate a spatial influence between locations and temporal relationships in the inflation data.
