Abstract

The food barn program is one of the national programs that has been running since 2020 until today. To support the sustainability of the food barn program, it is important to involve the role of farmers, so it is necessary to equip farmers with training to increase the capacity of human resources (HR) of farmer groups, which is a need that must be implemented immediately, so that it can encourage sustainable development, food security and increase farmer welfare. as well as society. Training activities were carried out at the Telang Sari Village Hall, Tanjung Lago District, with the implementing method using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach and techniques consisting of location surveys, observations, FGDs and training for farmer groups. Training activities on the use of technology have a positive impact on farmer groups and the community, namely that these groups can become more independent and confident in responding to various agricultural challenges. Thus, technology training for farmers allows the food barn program to maximize the potential of farmer groups, increase food security, and have a positive impact on the Telang Sari Village community and farmer welfare.

Abstract

This paper is a partial result of our researchs in the main topic "On The McShane Integral for Riesz-Spaces-valued Functions Defined on the space ". We have constructed McShane integral for Riesz-spaces-valued functions defined on the space by a technique involving double sequences and proved some basic properties which coincides with the McShane Integral for Banach-spaces valued functions defined on real line. Further, we construct some convergence theorems involving uniformly convergence theorems, monotone convergence theorems and Fatou’s lemma in the sense of this integral.Keywords : Riesz Space, McShane Integral

Abstract

Kampung Melayu Batu Besar Batam adalah salah satu desa wisata yang terdapat di Kota Batam. Kampung ini terletak tidak jauh dari Bandara Udara Hang Nadim Batam. Terdapat salah satu wisata yang terkenal di kampung ini yaitu Pantai Melayu. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kewirausahaan yang berfokus pada pelatihan pengemasan produk dan membentuk Komunitas Usaha Wanita di Kampung Melayu Batu Besar Batam. Adapun manfaat Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dari Jurusan Manajemen ini antara lain manfaat memberikan pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi remaja putri dan ibu-ibu di Kampung Melayu Batam untuk menciptakan pengusaha-pengusaha baru yang mandiri sehingga dapat memperbaiki taraf hidup dan perekonomian keluarga dan menciptakan Komunitas Usaha di Kampung Melayu yang berkelanjutan dan dimonitoring oleh Politeknik Negeri Batam agar dampak kewirausahaan yang diberikan menjadi nyata dan secara langsung berguna untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan Kampung Melayu.

Abstract

Untuk mencapai kesuksesan dalam kompetisi olimpiade matematika diperlukan bimbingan dan persiapan yang baik. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pelatihan penguasaan dan pemahaman materi olimpiade matematika bagi siswa dan guru SMAN 2 Kalianda diinisiasi untuk memberikan dukungan kepada guru-guru matematika dan siswa di SMA tersebut. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melibatkan ceramah, tanya jawab, dan simulasi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih efektif di tingkat sekolah menengah atas, memotivasi siswa untuk aktif mengikuti pembinaan, dan membantu mereka memahami materi olimpiade matematika dengan lebih baik. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini yaitu pemahaman dan keterampilan guru-guru meningkat dalam membimbing siswa untuk menghadapi olimpiade matematika, terlihat dari hasil peningkatan nilai pada post-test siswa.

Abstract

This service activity has two objectives. First, increasing the understanding of halal certification for MSMEs in Batam City. Second, helping SMEs in Batam City to prepare halal certification documents. This activity is carried out to overcome problems in MSMEs regarding the management of halal certification. This activity is expected to be useful for MSME Managers so that they understand the urgency of halal products, then MSME products are halal certified, and finally as a means of student learning. Based on the results of the assistance, many MSMEs want to take care of halal certification but are still confused about the preparation. This activity contains socialization, training, and mentoring. Assistance is provided to 6 (six) business units.

Abstract

The objectives of this study is to find out the mastery of English phrasal verbs in terms of their separable and inseparable types among the fifth semester students of the English education study program at State Institute of Islamic Studies SAS Bangka Belitung in the academic year of 2018/2019. The method used in this study was survey method. As many as thirty students were selected as the samples. Then the data was gathered by administering a test about phrasal verbs to the students and the researcher analyzed the results which consisted of correct answers and errors. The researcher examined the test results and found that most students made correct answers in relation to phrasal verbs with optional separation. On the other hand, the majority of errors fell under the category of phrasal verbs with obligatory separation. But, overall, the students made incorrect answers more than correct answers. By using the mean score which is 48.9 out of 100, the students can be said to have a poor level of mastery of English phrasal verbs or be classified as fail/unsatisfactory because the minimum standard of mastery is 56.

Abstract

BNI is one of the government -owned banks in Indonesia. At certain times, BNI experiences a significant increase in the number of customers, which can lead to long queues. In such situations, customers generally consider visiting other BNI branches. To optimize time and cost, it is necessary to have information to determine the shortest tour between BNI locations in Lampung Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the shortest tour among 21 BNI locations in Lampung Province. The results show that both the Nearest Neighbor Heuristic Algorithm and the Modified Sollin’s Algorithm produce the same solution for Euclidean distance data and Haversine distance data. However, for time-based data, the Modified Sollin’s Algorithm performs better than the Nearest Neighbor Heuristic Algorithm.
